Outstanding company, outstanding results. Very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Our new house needed new windows everywhere - some of the original windows wouldn't open, others wouldn't stay closed, more than a few had rotten wood around the sills and pretty much all of them were drafty. The sliding glass door would leak when it rained, so when Tim and Joe came out to take measurements, they put up some temporary flashing and caulking to keep the water out while the windows were on order. Tim's crew did a great job replacing every window in the house. They worked quickly and thoroughly, and we're extremely pleased with the final product. Special shout-out to Joe for his work on the basement window well - he dug out the dirt and put in some gravel to help with drainage. The sales experience was great too - they explained our options, had very competitive prices and helped us chose the right windows and doors. We really appreciated Tim's attention to detail and the way he had our best interests in mind.

From beginning to end O'Sullivan Installs was courteous, prompt, organized, and efficient. When you call, you will be greeted by George who takes care of the initial communication and scheduling. He arrived at our house on a nice Saturday this summer and patiently did an initial walkthrough, answered our numerous questions, took notes and listened to us. He brought a large binder portfolio that allowed us to view examples of their previous work and also had an assortment of physical siding examples. When we didn't understand what a soffet was or what a j-channel meant, the actual product examples helped us understand. I had done some research prior, but George really helped us understand the "water management system" that they provide and that our house desperately needed. After taking a lot of measurements and knowing what we were looking for he gave us an estimate for the job. The siding was an exact estimate, the doors and window were dependent on the models we chose later, so they itemized the siding, separate from the door & window. | Summer 2012: We compared our other offers and decided to go with O'Sullivan Installs, based mainly on the reviews here. The estimate was in line with our other offers, O'Sullivan was a smidge higher, but we wanted to go for quality, especially with such an important and sizable job ahead of us. | We met with George and did another walkthrough, ironed out the colors, trim, windows, doors, etc... and the numbers. We signed on and the deal was done. They setup the order for the materials. | We weren't sure when our refinance and our LOC would complete, we gave a rough timeframe of availability about 2 months out. They respected our timeframe and said we could work out the date once we had a more concrete timeframe as long as we gave them enough time to purchase the materials and allow for the siding, window, door order to complete and be delivered, etc... prior to the work. When our finances cleared, we called for scheduling and set a date. | September 2012: The materials were all in and they were ready to go. The crew arrived on time. Tim met us, we went over some logistics and did a quick walkthrough again for last minute details. They started working immediately, scaffolding & stripping. Tim's crew worked very hard and were very respectful of our daily lives. They cleaned up well and diligently worked every day. The work took 1 week: Monday-stripping, Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri one side sided each day. Sat AM they finished up the detail work and touchups, working around our chimney and porch were a bit dicey and took a little bit longer. Again, better to have it done right. | The best thing about the whole experience was that it was exactly what you want with a large, expensive job like this. They were communicative, always returned calls promptly, there were no surprises and our estimate came in exact. Tim quells your anxiety, which streamlines what could be a stressful time. They didn't haggle with us during the job about extra money. When an issue came up with our Juliet porch (which sticks out of the house), they offered us some options with pros and cons and respected our decisions. They lay it all on the table and deliver what they promise. I am very confident that if we had an issue with excessive rot (which we didn't) it would have been a clean, business-like process to deal with any additional costs. They are very reasonable, they want to do an honest job for honest pay. We are extremely happy with our siding ,doors and window. You'll be impressed with their craftmanship. The cuts are perfect. I would hire them again in a second. No regrets. Nice job Tim and thank you for your patience and expertise.

Great experience, beginning to end. Tim and his guys really understands the meaning of customer satisfaction. Tim was originally our highest estimate (compared only to Harvey & Alside) but we chose O'Sullivan Installs because George who did our estimate took the time to demonstrate why SoftLite is a superior window in terms of construction and energy efficiency, and also because he was very professional and considerate of being in the house when he was there. During installation everyone worked very hard and the windows look great. They worked around the fact that the town chose that day to rip up the road in front of my house, staying well after dark. There was an issue with the company sending a wrong sized window, and Tim very quickly straightened that out and was very concerned that the install was not 100% perfect. I nitpicked a couple minor details which were resolved immediately with a smile. Tim always picks up the phone when I call him and replies to my emails same day.

The O'sullivan Install team was great to deal with from beginning to end. From the the estimate to the completed project everyone was very professional and did everything they could to make sure the project was delivered on time and on budget. In fact they even started before the expected start day from the estimate. The entire project was completed in less than 2 weeks. The installers were onsite every morning by 7:30 AM at the latest and worked well past the normal 5 PM "quitting time". The end result was better than we expected including all of the finishing touches including, gutters soffit work, recessed fixtures for our houses and water-deterring fixtures for our lights.

Working with George and Tim was a breeze from the start. I inquired with them via Angieslist and received a call the same day. George was able to come take a look at things almost immediately, and was a great guy to talk to. He was very honest about every question I had, and was happy to customize the job for me. For instance, I am interested in windows, but not ready to buy them just yet. George still took the time to give me the full rundown on their offering and services - which has me sold to use them when that time does come. I ended up giving him a laundry list of things I needed done - none being excessively big or expensive - but there was no pushback at all. We went back and forth over email a few times to figure out just what work to do, which was very convenient since I don't have much time for the phone. Tim and George came back once more after we agreed on the work, and double checked measurements etc. Again, very great to chat with and were more than willing to answer my piles of questions. My job took a little extra time to schedule out, due to the very rainy spring (ie, all jobs were getting delayed!). Tim was always responsive when I would inquire about timing. Finally my date came - and the crew showed up early, worked VERY fast, and were done well under the original estimated time. No one wasted any time - and despite a few oddities on my house, they were able to overcome any issues with ease. I was floored at how speedy and precise the crew was. Tim swung by for part of the time to ensure all was well. The work was done in under a day - which was a huge relief. Tim came by soon after to do a walk through of the work - and both be and George followed up again later. It was very nice to know they actually cared about the work, and how it was done. Fantastic service. They further proved themselves when a slight issue developed on one piece of trim. The trim we replaced on the house was the largest possible size - and when sumer hit, things got very hot. The trim warped and pulled itself away from the house. I sent Tim a picture and he found a fix immediately. Within days he had time to come back and fix it permanently - without any hassle. I'll be going back to these guys for all of my next projects. Pricing was surprisingly affordable, and their services and results blew away all of my expectations. I look forward to getting windows done with them, as well as getting gutters on the main house (after I get some trees down!).

The job was completed on the day scheduled in about 5 hours. The entire job was first rate from the estimate performed by George to the install done by Tim and his team. I was particularly happy with the trim work the crew did and on the job cleanup as well. They were very professional from start to finish.

From sales to finish, everything went as advertised. The installers kept working through a heat wave and even worked on the 4th of July, after asking me if it was ok. Everyone was professional and friendly, frequently asking me if the work was to my satisfaction. I had wiring in the old gutters for melting ice, that was reinstalled, a torn plastic window well cover was replaced and a crawlspace door that couldn't open because of the larger gutter downspout was reworked to open inwards.The crew cleaned up after themselves and the owner and salesperson both stopped by after the job was done to make sure we were satisfied. We were told even if we see something we missed months from now call them.Overall a wonderful experience

After reading some of the reviews on Angie's List, I contacted O'Sullivan Installs for an estimate to replace 7 Anderson crank windows with double hung windows and to side my home. I met with George, the salesman for the company, he was very professional, patient, answering all my questions, and those of my curious 9yr old child! He explained the difference in the two styles of siding O'Sullivan Installs uses and demonstrated the benefits of the windows that they carry. He gave me a written estimate that was more than I anticipated, but I was impressed with the reviews and the information George provided, so I gave him the deposit check after I had picked out the color and style of siding. Within a short time, the owner of the company Tim O'Sullivan came to my home to go over measurements and make sure all the information I had received was correct. He assured me that he would be in contact soon regarding an installation date. Due to nasty weather, the install did get delayed, however, as soon as the weather cleared a dumpster was delivered to my driveway, after receiving a text from Tim to ensure that the timing was appropriate. I did not realize the scope of the job until I came home one day to find my house with 7 new wonderful windows that brought so much light into my dark family room and my house partially wrapped in Tyvek and the dumpster was full of the shingles, clapboards, and various materials that had been the outside of my home. I did not remember until then that George had mentioned that they go down to the bare wood on the house and wrap it to ensure a good strong moisture barrier. In short order, the rest of my house was Tyveked and gradually the new siding was installed. There were several workers and all were very polite and professional. At one point they had to be inside my house to install the windows and I felt perfectly comfortable with them being inside. They even were able to corral my two dogs when they escaped the room they were in and get them secured in another room so they did not take advantage of the open door to explore the neighborhood. The most time consuming job the men did was the installation of the trim. TIm O'Sullivan is a dream contractor-he is a perfectionist and will make the workers take trim pieces down and reinstall them until he is satisfied. He even insisted on replacing the sashes on most of my new windows because he found that the grids were not straight. I examined these grids themselves and even with Tim pointing it out, I could not find the inconsistencies he did. However if he wanted to replace them, I was okay with that and once again, when the time came for that work to be done, he was certain to make sure the time was convenient for me. Overall I am extremely pleased with the work done on my home and would and have recommend O'Sullivan Installs. Tim O'Sullivan is very easy to work with, yet is a perfectionist, which I think is a perfect combination in a contractor. Several neighbors commented on the improvement in my home from the day the windows were installed, some neighbors who I had not personally known. It has made an enormous improvement in both the outside of my home and the new windows and insulated siding have much improved the temperature and comfort of the family room and it is like having a brand new room! To be perfectly honest, the estimate that initially seemed a bit high to me ended up being extremely reasonable given the quality of the work, professionalism of the workers, and perfectionist of the contractor.

This was our second job with Tim. A couple years ago he replaced several doors and did an excellent job. So, it he was our obvious choice when it became clear that we need to replace some windows. Another great job. Will call Tim again, any time we need work on our windows or doors. If you are looking for quality work by a professional crew, then you definitely need to call Tim.

Tim, Arturo and their crew were absolutely great. Tim kept in touch, answered all my questions, gave me an accurate start date and checked in frequently in person and by phone as the job was being done. Arturo and the rest of the crew were friendly, polite and professional. They worked long days and did the whole job from start to finish with no disappearances or other commitments. (My neighbor coincidentally hired someone to do vinyl siding on his house at the same time I was having mine done - his house was started a week and a half before mine - one side of the house done, installer disappeared for a week, did part of another side, etc. - six weeks later, the job is still not done.) O'Sullivan Install's work looks perfect and they even finished two days ahead of when they originally told me they'd be done. A couple of days after they finished I found a can of touch-up paint on the front porch that Tim had dropped off. I couldn't be happier with the work they did and I highly recommend them.

We ordered the door and was told about 4 weeks for delivery. The door was installed the end of June and Tim actually called me on Sunday just to let us know everything was all set and they would be their Monday morning. The installers showed up on time install the doors and did a great job. They made sure everything was just right and that I was happy with it. Communication was excellent, the people are very professional and they promote a high level of customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend or use O'sullivan Installs for future work. I called at lot of contractors/companies from Angie's List and these guys were the only real professionals to visit my home and give me a quote on the siding job. I have not yet used their services because of my work schedule and the timing of the job, but I highly recommend them. Not only was their quote 10K less than the other contractor who came to my home (from Angie's list), but their suggested timeline to complete the job was a full three weeks less than the other contractor (who said that he was doing another job in my neighborhood and then proceeded to tell me his political views...big mistake!). George from O'sullivan is amazing --it's obvious that he loves his job and works for a guy he totally respects --Tim. As soon as I get my schedule in order, I am going to use these folks. btw: If Angie's list had a "Customer Profile" section, my profile would read, "perfectionist seeking professionalism and value."

Excellent. Tim and his crew were professional, courteous, and the quality of work is excellent. I thought the price was a little high at first, but after seeing the quality of materials and workmanship, I feel like we got our money's worth.

I cannot say enough about O'Sullivan installs. The crew was diligent, professional and cleaned up the worksite every day. I originally obtained a quote from Newpro which was about 7k more than what I ended up paying with O'Sullivan. I had a rare problem with some solar glare coming off of my neighbor's windows and melting some of the vinyl on one side of the house. Tim hadn't experienced this in 5 years on his own and 10 years prior while he was working with another company. That said, Tim did the right thing for me and upgraded me to Hardie-plank siding on that side. It looks the same as the rest of the house, seamless, and the fiber cement is guaranteed to never melt. All of the googling I did on that issue showed page after page of helpless homeowners whose installers were not liable for the solar glare melting as vinyl manufacturing companies exclude themselves from this issue in their warranties. Basically the homeowner is on their own but Tim truly cares about his customers and understands what a sacrifice it is for them to undertake this kind of a project. I ended up paying a fraction of what the upgrade to the Hardie would normally cost thanks to Tim. Vinyl is great, but if like me, you live in a neighborhood where houses are close together, you might consider a fiber cement hardie-plank solution. It costs 25-33% percent more than vinyl but it is a sturdier product. Whichever product you choose to side with, do yourself a favor and work with O'Sullivan Installs. PS: 3 years ago a lousy painter (Kendrick of Waltham) took me for 3k and never did any work. I was a little hesitant to work with someone who was not a Newpro, Sears, etc.. Seeing TIm's reviews on Angie's list made me decide to work with him but the biggest peace of mind was that O'Sullivan Installs has 0% / 12 month financing and you don't have to sign the bank paperwork until the job is complete to your satisfaction. That is, they don't get paid until you're happy which now knowing Tim was something I didn't really need, but at the time, this was a great insurance policy.

The workmanship and attention to detail was clear and very much appreciated. A completely professional job in every aspect. Would definitely recommend.

Initially Tim O'Sullivan came on January 5th and gave me an estimate. I planned on only replacing the two damaged doors but the space looked weird with two new and one old door so we ordered a third door which is why the project took so long. The first doors were ordered on Jan 5th and installed February 8th. The installation went smoothly. The workers were professional, on time and cleaned all the debris up. A super job.

I interacted with George and Tim over the cost estimate and work period. George was pleasant and very accommodating during our discussion of the works that needed to be done. He patiently answered all of our questions during this time and provided us with all the information requested. Tim personally performed the windows replacement and supervised the siding works. Once scheduled, all the works were done in prompt and high quality manners. The only hiccup was the delay due to the Contractor's ordering wrong size windows the first time, which then needed reorders and more waiting time. Tim was very accomodating when doing the final walk through and made sure that all our requests were completed to our satisfaction. Overall, we are very satisfied with the works and will not hesitate hiring them back in the future.

The entire process was outstanding. I am hyper skeptical of contractors and prefer to do projects myself instead of giving a contractor and opportunity to take advantage of me. I have to say that I could not have been happier with the work O'Sullivans preformed and my dealings with them. After some price negotiations with several contractors, O'Sullivans was able to match the winning bid and I am happy they did. They informed me that they would order the windows and then start the job as soon they had finished other jobs ( they don't work on multiple jobs at the same time). I liked that they have separate crews for windows and siding jobs. Tim called me on a Friday several weeks later to tell me that he'd like to start work on Monday. Because of a traffic accident on 93 south, they showed up a couple hours late on Monday morning. I spent about 15 minutes meeting the the crew and getting comfortable with leaving my house open to them. To make up for their late arrival , Tim ( the owner of the company) gave me a ride to work in Boston ...45 minutes away because there was not another commuter rail for an hour. Not many contractors out there would do that and it really made me comfortable that we'd made the right choice. The crew installed all of the windows in just two days. I still don't know how that is possible. The crew was very courteous to my family and were the utmost professionals in cleaning up each night after they were done. As promised Tim, the owner, came back a couple days later to go over the entire job. In reviews it is commonly asked : "would you recommend this company to a friend". I would go way beyond that with O'Sullivns. I have actively talked to friends and said if you ever think about having work done on your house, you have to consider this company. I feel that strongly that O'Sullivans did a great good job and can be completely trusted. I was impressed on all accounts, and that hasn't happened before.

It was great start to finish. Everything was excellent. I have nothing but positive things to say.

My overall experience with O'Sullivan Installs couldn't have been any better. I would recommend them without any hesitation. I almost wish I had more work for them. I received 2 estimates after calling 3 companies listed on Angies. One company never returned my call. The other 2 were quick to respond and O'Sullivan came in several thousand dollars cheaper but the quality was top notch. They showed up on time, actually a week early to start the job. The workers were polite, reliable and extremely knowledgeable. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves every night. I was actually very sick and ended up being hospitalized at the end of their job so I wasn't able to thank them personally. The owner was very supportive and told my husband to deal with my issues and he would come pick up the check for the balance once I was released from the hospital. I have never heard of any contractor putting their clients before the paycheck. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were and they will be my very first and only call should a need arise for any of their other services. Great job, great company, great owner and fabulous workers. Can't say enough!!! If you have any need of their services, call them first you won't be disappointed!!!!!

Once a date was agreed upon,Tim and his workers came in and finished the job in 3-4 days(weather permitting)They were punctual,hard working and did a professional job!They cleaned up after and even did a great job in replacing 2 windows.We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family!Andrew & Juliana Van Dort

Even though they were busy, Tim and his team worked with me to get the doors installed as fast as possible, because my home's security was compromised with the broken doors. My new doors are fantastic; they open and close perfectly. They insulated around the frame and cleaned up after themselves and hauled away all the demolished material. Tim even helped me with some open/close issues on another two doors that were not being replaced, free of charge.
