We have only done the estimate so far. The work is to be completed next week. All communications have been professional and prompt. Prices seem very fair. I feel he gave me an honest estimation of the time needed to complete the job.

It was terrific. He did a great job. He not only painted the room where he took the wallpaper down, but also 3 other rooms & 2 ceilings. He was here on time, extremely courteous, & responsive to any additional requests we made.

The coupon had expired but he honored the deal and came out last week. He did a nice job and I would definitely use them again.

David showed up on time, prepared, with a helper - and completed the job in just over the allotted time. The extra we paid was very reasonable for our geographic area. They were hard-working, personable, professional, and they knew what they were doing. The walls were left paint-ready and my husband completed the paint job as he enjoys doing that part! I will be hiring David for future projects. He is quite busy so it is best to plan ahead.

We took advantage of Mr. Butlers Angie's List special offer. He was swamped with calls and we had to wait a bit for him to get back to us, but we were very pleased with the wall paper removal he did in our home. The work exceeded the $200 limit for the special offer, but we felt the additional money was worth it to have the job done right. new

David was great. He came out, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and then performed admirably. I would recommend him for any interior painting job and would use him again anytime.

Bought Angie's list coupon for 6 man-hours of service. Dave was prompt in returning all calls, came on time and when scheduled, and did an excellent job! Removed all paper, patched rough spots, and even did some caulking around the edge ( where I would not have known to do). Since we were going to paint ourselves, Dave gave me lots of tips on what needed to be done next. Because it was a small room, dave and son were able to finish the job within the time allotted for the coupon. Very friendly and professional. Thanks, dave!

We contacted David Butler Painting to take advantage of a wallpaper-removal special. They were very professional and personable. Unfortunately, the day of the removal, our boiler was also replaced, so there was no hot water, which is pretty important for removing wallpaper, but they did their best with the available water. Great results, would definitely recommend to anyone!

We purchased the Big Deal, and contacted the company. It took a couple of weeks to get the work scheduled (due most likely to the Big Deal), but the work then was completed in one day. He told us when he came to scope the job that it would most likely take a couple more hours than we had prepaid, and it did. No problems with the work -- completed promptly and professionally.

We decided to try David J. Butler Painting because we had the Angies list coupon for wallpaper removal. We knew that we had more work that we needed done, and I wanted to see how the wallpaper removal went first. I am very picky! Needless to say, we hired him for the whole job. They did excellent, meticulous work. The prepwork and painting were fantastic. You would never know that there had been wallpaper on the walls in the bathrooms or that woodwork had been removed from the hallways. They removed lighting fixtures, etc. to paint and then replaced them. The were careful not to get any paint on our new wood railing. They punctual, courteous, and friendly. We will definitelly hire them again.

He's honest, punctual, clean - in short, he is everything you would want from a contractor. Plus, he's so personable and thankful that you feel like you have a new friend. I already have two other quotes from him and will use his services again soon.

They started mid-July. They were great. They cleaned up. They did a super job. They did exactly what they said. They were within the quote and there were no surprises. They were reliable. It took a while because it was very hot so they didn't work all day every day. It took about a month. It's a big house so it was a lot of work. I spent between five and seven thousand and it was what they had quoted. The price included supplies and labor. They were very clean. They asked permission. They stored ladders under my deck, but you would never know that they were there. There was no paint dropped on the shrubs. They cleaned up after themselves every day. They did a great job. We had gotten 3 bids and they were right in line with what we were expecting, so the price was fine. When they said they would be there, they were there. They were very professional. They were very respectful. They made notes. We asked questions and they answered them. They were very responsive to that.

David J Butler Painting Company did a wonderful job. They were attentive to details. I can’t praise them enough. It’s a relatively large house that I own and the ceilings are really high up. I think that it takes good workmanship to get the entire wall papers from all of the walls down and to paint the ceilings that high up. They took care not to get any paint on the wood trim. They went above and beyond their call of duty. They knew that we were under time pressure for open houses and stuff like that. They did good work. The wall papers have been here for over thirty seven years. The touch up work on my cupboards made my kitchen look brand new without having to spend for a new kitchen. It was very nice. I just needed David Butler’s business to be professional. I wanted him to be a friend and just to do good work; I think I got that. He wasn’t a friend earlier, he had been recommended to us but it was like he had been personal.
