Description of Work: my chimney was falling apart. Charles remortared all the bricks, sealed all the flashing, and repointed where necessary.

Description of Work: Driveway retaing walls: Charles came on Friday and power washed the wall and limestone capping. When finished the capping looked like the day it was installed.(20 yrs. old). He also replaced a 6ft. section that had damage from a snow plow. Two days later he returned with 2 helpers and scraped all the loose stucco from the 2 walls, rolled on a coat of glue then stuccoed the walls. then with a trowel he went back and did the finish on the stucco. I have been here 45 years and that is the best it's ever looked. Mary, Billerica

Description of Work: Charles Graham Masonry did some repairs for our chimney and put on a new chimney cap to replace the one that had blown off in one of the springtime storms that we had. He was extremely professional and responsive -- quickly returning telephone calls and answering the numerous questions that we had. In contrast to our being told by another company that our chimney was in very bad shape, was leaning to the side and swaying in high winds, and needed major repairs (at a cost of about $3,800), Mr. Graham examined our chimney and told us that it was essentially solid, that it only needed some minor repairs, that the top had to be repaired and we needed a cap that fit properly -- at a cost of $1,200.00. He did not insist on any upfront payment. He had to order our cap and told us that it would take 2 - 3 weekes for him to get to our job. He kept to his word, called us when the cap came in, came on time the next day, completed all the work (and cleaned up everything) with a four man crew and scaffolding in about 6 hours and left us a bill which he asked us to pay the following day. He was very pleasant and patient, completely professional, and seemed very competent as well. We would hire him again in a minute and would recommend him as an honest, professional, pleasant and experienced contractor. You could not ask for more!

Description of Work: Charles was great to work with! He rebuilt two chimney's from the roof line up. He added a slight design pattern to the top of the chimney which was a very nice craftsman touch. I gotten an estimate from Charles a year before the work was completed. We were in the middle of adding a full shed dormer to our Cape style home, the builder initially thought we could ge by without replacing the chimney and upon getting closer look realized the were not salvagable. Charles came by to look at the job on a Monday and completed the job that Thursday as we wanted to get the chimney's done before the roof went on. A true professional and a pleasure to work with, our contracter said he took his card as well because it was easy to see masonry was his craft.
