I had an excellent experience working with Charles and his crew. He was quick to respond to my initial request and answered my questions in a timely manner. His prices were very competitive. He and his crew came on a Saturday morning, they were done by 2:30. They did high quality work, their masonry was excellent. The chimney is perfect and looks great with the new cap. His crew cleaned up the site thoroughly before they left. I would highly recommend him if your looking for a masonry, he's a very easy going guy and has an excellent crew that works fast.

I called him and he got right back to me. He was professional and very reasonable. He was very busy but I asked that he let me know when he could get it done. When he had a cancellation on a Saturday he called and we agreed to go ahead with the work. He and his crew arrived early on Saturday morning and did the work. The cleaned up everything but the random dust which could not be avoided and were done before 2:00. I am very happy with the work and would recommend him to anyone. Both he and his crew are very nice guys and did a terrific job.

During the past 117 years our chimney had developed a rather severe lean and twist. With a new roof planned, we decided it would be prudent to replace the chimney. Charles arrived promptly and provided a reasonable estimate ( we had four estimates all within a few hundred dollars) and committed to an early December start. Throughout Charles and his crew were friendly, professional, maintained a clean site, and finished the work promptly - could not ask for more.

Charles and his crew did a great job on both projects. They took down the fireplace chimney to the roof line and reused the old brick to rebuild the chimney. For the boiler chimney they had to demo the existing chimney through the roof into the attic and rebuild with new brick. Both chimneys look great and are now safe. Everyone on Charles' crew was pleasant and polite, and they did a great job cleaning up after the project.

During the quoting process Charles Graham discussed various options, made recommendations and quoted a reasonable price. The work started as scheduled, but was interrupts briefly by an emergency that he needed to deal with. No big deal. All workers were very professional and polite. We are very happy with the results.

The estimate was well bellow others. I probably should have known based on that but I asked to completely resurface a concrete wall. Instraed they just patched it up and left it looking almost worse than it was to start.

He did not show up as promised and planned.

I called Charles on April 28 to have him come out to give me an estimate. He came by on April 29 and gave me an estimate of $2,000. I called him on April 31 to go ahead with the work. He said he could do the work the week of April 4 or April 11. He called on April 7 to say he would do the work on April 9. He arrived promptly at 7 AM and finished the job by 2 PM. They were professional, prompt and I was very happy with the results.

While Mr. Graham was at my residence in September 2010 I inquired about having my chimney/fireplace replaced/repaired. I explained to him that I would be hosting my entire family for the holidays and would like to have it done before December 24, 2010. He recommended that I go to one of his stone suppliers and see the stone for myself. I'm glad I went to see the stone in person since it looks different in person than from a book. Once I had my mind set on Bucks County Dressed Fieldstone I called Mr. Graham and asked if he could still fit me in before the holidays even though it took me longer than expected to decide on a stone. He came to my house as expected with his employees who also acted in a very professional manner and began immediately. Mr. Graham is a very dedicated worker who came to my house on Saturday December 18 to continue working (even though it was not a scheduled work day, to ensure the job would be completed since his wife was expecting the following week) I absolutely love my new fireplace. The added mantle and hearth complete the fireplace. My holiday company were all very impressed with the amazing transformation.

Mr. Graham and his employees worked on my steps for the week of September 6, 2010. They arrived ready to work and returned each day until the job was done. I was very pleased with their professional manner and the fact that they remained at the job until it was complete.

Set up an appointment to review problem with leaks around chimney but Charles never showed and didn't call. In our initial conversation Charles seemed like a good guy but I get the sense he's very busy and perhaps overextended. So I have no comment on work quality but I was blown off on the appointment we had arranged.

No show. Called him after waiting 35 minutes in 95 degrees weather to follow up and he called back a few minutes later informing us he had been really hot that day and had forgotten. Although he offered to re-schedule, we did not wish to follow up.

Charles was responsive when I called. The work was exactly as quoted. He did excellent work. When it started to rain unexpectedly they day he finished, he came back to cover and protect the work. We are very pleased.

Charles returned my voicemail from my initial call within 10 minutes and scheduled an inspection of the chimney for that afternoon (I didn't need to be home). Charles was very willing to accommodate my schedule (I was coordinating this work with roofing work) and provided me with detailed information on what needed to be done. His work crew arrived right on time, completed the work (except for the waterproofing) in a single day, and cleaned up the mess that removing old mortar makes. The crew also ground out and repointed the few problem spots in the chimney that were below the roofline. Charles himself came out in the evening a few days later after the new mortar had set to waterproof the entire chimney. Although I had quotes that were less than what Charles charged, I was willing to pay the extra dollars for the professionalism that Charles exhibits and the responsiveness to my calls and questions.

Charles was very prompt with quoting. His prices are very fair. He performed the work as discussed and even cleaned up around the area and the yard to make sure it was clean before he left. We also received quotes for other masonry work which we will consider hiring him to work on later on. Charles is very polite, honest, cleans up after the work is done, had been on time for quoting, and when he came to do the work.

We were extremely pleased with the craftsmanship and professionalism of Charles Graham Masonry. The price was very competitive as well. Our chimney was rebuilt in the same style as our old chimney to maintain the authenticity of our 1873 home. Not only were we pleased with the quality of the work, we were also impressed by Charles's knowledge, patience (detailing the work performed and answering all questions related to the repair) and the fact that he is just an all around nice guy. I think he is the best contractor we have worked with thus far! Always good to have the owner doing the work, someone whose family has been in the business for a few generations. We highly recommend Charles Graham Masonry and hope that he gets some good referrals from our recommendation.
