I am very happy with the work.

Bob was very professional from the first day when he came and gave me the estimate until the day job was finished. His estimate was very reasonable. He would let me know exactly what he was working on each day he was here. He was always prompt, never arriving late. Each day he finished he cleaned up, never left a mess. The men he brought with him were all professional as well. I would definitely recommend Bob Batchelder to friends and family who need work done in their home.

Bob was the general contractor and oversaw the work of several subcontractors. While the work was going on we found a number of other items that needed fixing. Bob accommodated all the changes we requested. Bob also met with the insurance adjuster to determine which items were covered and what was new work. What I like most about the work he did was that he did not cut corners. The work was done properly ad according to code. We were very pleased with the results and would not hesitate using Superior Builders in the future.

Our kitchen was completely gutted of cabinets and flooring. Superior Builders met the deadlines they promised and they did a wonderful job installing our cabinets, duct work and molding. The plumbing and electrical professionals they called in were also conscientious and fair in their pricing for their separate services. Superior Builders employees were reliable, honest and very pleasant to have in our home. Our kitchen, including flooring that was done by another company, was completed in three weeks as promised. Superior Builders set high standards and meet them. We would not hesitate to hire them for our next project.

I know I was happy with his work. It was a couple days worth of work. I was not here when he did it. He was very meticulous. I was very happy with the end product. He was punctual. He did a good quality work. I thought his price was very reasonable, and the attic is in really good shape.

I really like what the flat wall was installed. They were really great. I just thought it was pricey. He does a very good job. He's always responsive when you call him; he always picks up the phone and returns your call. He's very professional but he's pricey. I had a few things for him that he doesn't have to do but he did that and I was happy about that.

Bob was very professional. The slat wall panels he installed look great. They all line up well and the job was done in a day. Bob is also very responsive -- he answers his phone and shows up when he says he will. He is definitely my go-to person for any construction / remodeling / refitting type of work. Bob subsequently helped me hang up my "coming soon" banner and I will be using his services for other things in the store and possibly my home.

Bob brought the windows to our home Thursday, so that all the materials were on site before the job started. As scheduled Bob and Dave began work at 8:30 a.m., with the understanding that they would try the bathroom window first. Some extra carpentry was required for all the windows, but this one in particular needed "Finesse." Well, they completed the window, with enough time to spare so that they were able to install two other windows as well. They came back on Saturday and finished the other two windows (5 in all.) All trim work, insulation, caulking was done with attention to detail. Since I could not replace all of the windows, Bob removed the old casement trim carefully, so that I could "harvest" the parts for the other existing windows. Although we were on a very tight budget, Bob correctly estimated the cost of the job (not the lowest) as well as the scope of work (other contractors came out and gave incorrect information on changing the windows, others did not want to do a small job.) So, materials came as ordered, installed professionally, up to code and work site kept clean. After the work was done, Bob and Dave did a thorough check to ensure the house was clean. I would recommend Bob for any window project.

Bob did a very nice job. He came when he said he would and takes great pride in his work. The back porch is very strong due to Bob reinforcing beams etc. The front door was installed and fits perfectly. Also, the hand railings along the stairs are very nice.

They were extremely reliable and very responsive to the home owner. They have very high quality work.

Bob started the work exactly when he said he would start the work, did the work exceptionally well, and finished when he said he would finish. Every step of the way I knew that if (and when) I called him, he would pick up the phone, day or night. He answered every question I had, made suggestions when I asked for them, and laid out with real clarity various options. Bob's professionalism, honesty, and kindness is unmatched and, I think, unmatchable. He is not just the most reliable contractor I've ever met, he might be one of the most reliable people I've ever encountered. He tells the truth 100 percent of the time. He charges for the work he does and the supplies he uses. His prices are completely fair. His work is impeccable. He is clean, respectful -- a delight to work with. So too the other people on Bob's crew are terrific -- also kind, respectful and totally trustworthy. Bob takes pride in his business and his work. He doesn't leave things unfinished. And when unexpected problems arise -- like the blizzard of Feb 2013 -- he handles things. He shoveled out a path for himself to the basement and got back to work. The basement looks amazing. The tile, though not expensive, looks as it if is expensive. The walls are exactly the color I wanted (and Bob had to paint over knotty pine -- not an easy job). The lighting looks great. The sump pump is doing its job. In short, the basement has been transformed. It's not just a usable space now; it's a very attractive space -- a real asset to the house. I'll never work with anyone else besides Bob Batchelder Superior Buildings. I have recommended him to everyone I know.
