Lisa is amazing. She understood our goal for the renovation and was able to do it in a cost effective manner. She was flexible when our plans changed. Also, when a contractor we were using on another part of the project could not do the work they promised, Lisa found someone to replace them! They have paid great attention to the details of our project & take pride in their work. Lisa really wants her customers to be happy. We have had no issues with communication like have been mentioned in other reviews. She has always returned our emails or calls within 24 hours, and if plans have changed she has communicated that also. We will continue to use Affordable's services in the future & highly recommend Lisa.

I contacted Affordable landscaping on April 10th 2014 for an estimate to redo our entire front and back yard. After i provided my contact information and address someone from affordable Landscaping (Lisa?) showed up at my house without an appointment and started walking my property. My wife was home that day and talked to the person about our plans, but recommended to contact me for an appointment. Have not heard back from them since

I thank Lisa for the time she took to visit my home. She was not feeling well that day but still kept the appointment. During our discussion I came to realize that I wasn't sure what I wanted to use for landscape materials for a final design. Thank you for your time Lisa.

I called to arrange an estimate. Never heard back.

I needed my walkway rebuilt. Lisa came the next day after I called and gave me a very reasonable quote. Lisa and her crew came to do the work as scheduled. The quality of their work is impeccable. The new walkway looks gorgeous. They repaired the lawn and the driveway that was damaged by their bulldozer. They even cleaned up some leaves on my driveway. I will definitely recommend Affordable Landscaping.

I put a couple of calls and sent emails to Lisa but never heard back. I am reluctant to just give them an F because I don't think it's fair to judge their landscaping without seeing their work, however it is unprofessional not to respond at all. I saw Lisa respond to a similar review back in May claiming that she was very busy. If business is that good she should hire somebody to return calls.

Lisa has been terrific! She returns calls within days, and is very good at communicating about what's going on. The June rain this year delayed our (everyone's!) project, but I never felt like she forgot about me, which was a great improvement over a previous landscaper. I enjoyed working with her, and Affordable will be my first call for my next project.

Overall, very professional. Though we didn't end up using the service due to the estimate being out of our price range, Lisa was professional and gave us ideas on what could be done.

Called over a week ago. Left a message. No returned call. Emailed a few days later. Again no response.

Asked for a quote for spring cleaning. No response whatsoever. Very unprofessional.

The consultation was done very professionally. Very pleased with Lisa.

After seeing such wonderful reviews of this company we were eager to work with them. We attempted to contact them via email (both directly and through Angie's List), telephone and their website. After three attempts we did receive a call back stating there was an issue with them receiving emails through Angie's List. Within that message it was stated they would take a ride to the property the next day to survey it and provide a quote for the work to be performed. We assume the drive by was never done because, despite follow up attempts made by us, no other response was ever received from the company. All in all, we were very disappointed.

Wasted over a month in anticipation of having a lawn service set up for spring waiting for response.

I use Affordable Landscaping to maintain my lawn over the summer and they have done my Spring and Fall yard clean up for a year now. My lawn is just too big for me to maintain and I do not have the time to do it. They are great. A week before Halloween I called and asked if they could do the yard cleanup prior to Halloween. I was concerned that with all the stuff down a kid might slip on trick-or-treating. My lawn looked like it had been snowed on with all the pine needles from the trees. Lisa told me I was on the schedule to be done before the holiday. It was kind of cruddy out the weekend before Halloween, and the lawn was wet. When they said Hurricane Sandy was coming, I figured there was no way they would be able to do my lawn. After Sandy came through, the lawn looked even worse. I had a lot of sticks and debris from the trees and two very large oak tree limbs that I dragged off the sidewalk up onto the lawn to get them out of the way. The night before Halloween I cleared the sidewalk in front of my house myself and it took me over an hour to rake and bag the pine needles, leaves, and sticks. They filled four lawn/leaf bags. I drove home on Halloween thinking that all I would have to do is get the leaf blower out and clear the walkway up to the door and then I saw my house! Not a leaf, pine needle, stick or tree limb in site! Affordable had come, as promised, and cleared the front/back and side yards. It looked beautiful! They are worth every penny.

Per Angie's List, I found Affordable Landscaping and was impressed by all the positive reviews. I called and left a voice mail on a Monday. When I hadn't heard back by that Thursday, I called back on a rainy day and talked to the owner. She apologized for not calling me back but she has been busy with her daughter's wedding, which I understood. She took all my info, including what we wanted done (a driveway removed, sod put down then a fence around the yard) and said she'd be out on Monday. I wouldn't have to be home for her to look around and work up an estimate. Monday, rainy, came and went and I called her on Wednesday. I left a voice mail and have never heard back.

Great - we need someone quickly since we were selling our house and the Open House was only 3 day away. They came in the rain to get the job done. Everything looked great. It was like having family do the work they paid attention to every detail. I think they were in real estate since they knew just what to do. More importantly they knew what was a valuable plant vs. a weed. I am not always so sure. We will use them again for sure.

Overall, I have been very satisfied with all of the landscaping and hardscaping services performed by Affordable Landscaping. They have been reasonable to deal with and the quality of their work has been very good. If any problems cropped up with a job they had done (they rarely did), they would work quickly to resolve them to my satisfaction. I've found Lisa and her husband Gary to be reliable and accommodating. Finally, as a woman, I prefer to deal with this woman-owned business.

They are an excellent company.

We had been doing research through Angieslist as well as other sources when we came upon LIsa's information. We were immediately excited to hear from her based on the recommendations on Angieslist. Lisa was quick in responding to my email, I explained my issues & the work we'd like done. Lisa was on time for the meeting & we walked through the project together before going through the ideas. We hit it off immediately. Lisa is straight to the point without fluff. Unfortunately, due to timing issues & location of my property we were unable to work together. I was disappointed that we couldn't work something out with the distance but completely understand that due to the small size of our project travel time & coordinating the sub contractors was an issue. I appreciate that Lisa took the time to come down this far to confirm that it would've been to much before dismissing me over the phone. Her professionalism & effort did not go unnoticed. As a matter of fact, I'm recommending her to my friends who live closer to her service area. Lisa was kind enough to price out the work we wanted done & offered assistance in comparing other estimates to hers even though she couldn't do the work. I appreciated the time & advice that she gave & wished we could've done business with her. Her recommendations alone speak for themselves. It was a pleasure meeting her & would HIGHLY recommend her services.

The work started when we were on vacation as I completely trust Lisa to be at my house without me there. When she ran into questions, she immediately called me. The work was put on pause until we could visualize what possible changes she was suggesting. Our patio was a harder project because the it needs to be strong enough to hold our spa. We also incorporated a fire pit built into the patio along with two sets of granite stairs. The entire project took about three to four weeks and it came out just beautiful. We are very happy with the end result and it feels like an escape from reality when we are out there. All our friends and family have had nothing but positive comments on the patio. I've seen some other projects that Lisa has done and I would recommend Affordable Landscaping to do patios, walkways, cleanups, maintenance....basically anything.

There was no response from this company so a quote could not be obtained.
