He was responsive to our concerns and questions. His bid was not the lowest we received, but we felt confident in his work, based on Angie's list reviews and most importantly his manner when discussing the work. He took his time to explain his ideas, took careful measurements, and provided a bid within about 1 week. The work was done when and as promised. We are completely satisfied with the quality of the materials and craftsmanship.

Very well and very cost effective for our repaired stairs.

Patrick O'Connell called right after my initial email and set up a meeting quickly and punctually. He was professional and friendly and seemed willing to do anything I asked, any way I wanted. I trusted his ability immediately. He came to work with his partner Scott and the two were a quiet ensemble of skill and efficiency. The timetable was 3 days and even with more work added it took only three days. It all looks transformed and thoroughly beautiful and made me wish these men had been the ones to do all of the work this old house required. Their clean-up was so painstaking as to appear they'd never been here. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We had some areas of rotting wood around our house that needed addressing, specifically below the front door step and at the side entry porch. Patrick came to look at all areas and gave us a reasonable estimate as well as an accurate timeframe of when he could do the work (within 2 weeks). He arrived before 7:30 am on 10/14/09, confirmed what he planned to do, took more measurements, bought materials, and returned to do the job in less time than he originally planned (original plan: 1 to 1.5 days; final time: less than 1 day, done by 3 pm). He had a colleague with him so they worked on different areas in parallel. He discovered totally rotten wood under the aluminum siding on the side porch, but found a way to make a temporary fix, good enough for a couple of years when we will need to replace the entire porch. He also carefully instructed me which pieces of wood needed to be primed immediately (before the coming rain), and which needed to wait until the wood dried out. Patrick comes highly recommended from many of our neighbors, for a good reason! He is very professional, reliable, trustworthy, honest, talented. He came when he said he would, explained options and what he would do in detail, answered questions, all in a professional and friendly manner.

They do excellent work and they put quality ahead of the cost. They will not use something because it is cheap, but because it is of quality. They are a very skilled group of people.
