Description of Work: I have used Brookline Moving Co. a number of times for our homes in Boston and Cape Cod and I highly recommend them. Their attention to on time arrival, fantastic service, quality work and excellent staff ensures a great experience. |Patrick, the General Manager, and Patrick, his son, who headed up the moving, storage, packing and unpacking team were wonderful to do business with. The administrative team at the office made everything flow and I would definitely use them again. |Our most recent use of their services was the moving and storage of some of our furniture in Boston as we renovated the interior. The work they did was impeccable. All soft furnishings were shrink wrapped, art was padded and wrapped and all was returned in perfect condition. I was thrilled! They made it so easy and everyone was a pleasure to deal with. |I highly recommend their services. |

Description of Work: They moved me from a 4500square foot home to a 2300square foot condo. They were excellent! They handled all my furniture and belongings as if they were all labeled fragile handle with care. They were respectful and professional and creative in the way they wrapped and boxed and moved my the items in my household to a much smaller condo. They were on time and they did not stop until the job was done. As well as they stayed to they estimated cost. I would highly recommend them!

Description of Work: Inside move of furniture involving return of stored furniture. We had construction in the house and large pieces of furniture were broken down, stored, or moved to other rooms. We have used them before and would use them again.

Description of Work: Moved our apartment into storage for 4 weeks and then delivered to new address. Came unprepared to wrap and pack items, roughly handled many items, many nicks and poorly handled. Office did not explain various insurance options or much of anything, broke a valuable lamp they will pay to fix. This was not the experience we had been expecting. Very disappointed.

Description of Work: The scheduling process is very easy and the movers arrived on time. I think the only thing was that I felt a bulk of the work was done between 2 of the movers. Overall, a fair and good service. |

Description of Work: I contacted Brookline Moving after finding them on Angies List. Of the four firms I contacted they were by far the most responsive, and they had the most reasonable pricing. Patrick was prompt, professional and thorough when he arrived to provide an estimate. When he and his crew arrived to pack up, they were a pleasure to work with. Aside from their efficiency and care, I truly appreciated the way the crew worked together. They made a tedious job fun. Patrick, his crew and Neil (in the office) were tasked with packing up a relatives estate. I could only provide them with my best guess of how things would be split between several destinations. They were patient, helpful and well organized in dealing with a fluid situation. They went the extra mile and I would definitely give them a call again.

Description of Work: Excellent experience. The job was small--moving less than 20 items from Boston to Portland, Maine. I called several moving companies, and Brookline Moving was the first that was interested. On the day of the move, March 21, the movers called just before arriving, so my husband was ready for them. The items were loaded, fragile ones safely padded, and the truck was on its way in less than an hour. As they approached my home in Portland, they gave me a call, so I could get things in order. Thanks Javier and Michael for taking care of my stuff and getting it to Maine!
