I am happy with the service I receive from them. I like that they are able to come out within a few days of me calling. They are able to keep my system running smooth all year long.

Paul was prompt personal, and on time. He went through every detail and called a couple a days before the job was to start. Work was swift, clean and finished in 1 day. The company was professional and I would use them again. Comparable estimates for job was up to $15,000 .

Paul was one of the most punctual and responsive contractors we have dealt with. On day one, he came in armed with all the research we had asked for as well as referrals from other satisfied customers. He did his homework before quoting a fixed price (which included getting an electrician over to see the extent of wiring work needed). Even his crew was punctual and efficient. I was happy that the crew was minimally invasive regarding the need to drill holes for installation and cleaned up after themselves. Overall very satisfied.

From start to finish, this was one of the most positive contractor experiences we have had since we bought the house four years ago. I called the company and spoke with Paul on a Thursday, he personally came to the house to explain the different options and give us an estimate on Saturday (at our convenience), and less than two weeks later we had central air conditioning. The entire job took only two days, and the crew was extremely professional, punctual and respectful. Paul promised that the final cost would not exceed his estimate, and he kept his word in spite of an unforeseen pre-existing electrical issue. Upon completion of the job, Paul spent several hours walking us through the system, how to operate it efficiently, cleaning instructions, rebates, warranties and answered any outstanding questions. We highly recommend this company.

The company responded quickly to my request for an estimate. Their representative explained what they would recommend and why. He was very good at answering questions and did not push extras. Their estimate was a bit lower than other companies for a similar system. They were able to schedule the job very quickly and showed up on time. The crew was very friendly and considerate and made suggestions for improvements in the original design, at no extra cost. They completed the job promptly in two days and left the house clean. They reported a couple of cosmetic problems that they had left to the company's representative and he called right away to discuss them. They sent out someone to fix the problems within a couple of days and before accepting final payment. I recommend them highly.

Called on 5/29 at 12:05 PM and left voicemail. As of 6/7, no response.

Paul Murphy never called or showed up to our condo for our scheduled inspection. My husband stayed home for the appointment and was very disappointed to have his time wasted.

Of all the bidders for this job, Paul Raleigh for Recom was the most thorough and helpful. He was the only one to do a detailed analysis of my needs, and to propose improvements to existing ductwork to improve the system. He was very attentive to my scheduling needs, and made sure that sub-contractors were scheduled so that the entire job took only two days. Very good follow-up after installation on work needed to satisfy the town inspector. Competent, polite crew. Good clean-up. I have been promised a visit in the Spring so that my new air conditioner can be charged and tested. Although the system I bought came in over my original budget, I am very satisfied with its performance, and with that of Recom.

Paul came and did a detailed assessment of what was required. Provided a detailed proposal that he went over thoroughly. Called on a regular basis to make sure we had everything we needed to make our decision. After we chose Recom, Paul came back to set up the dates and go through what would be done. His team came on time, were very professional, left the place spotless and did exactly what they said they were going to do in the time they said it would take. Paul would call after each work day to sum up where they were and what would be accomplished the following day. We were extremely pleased with their work and their customer service.

Overall this was an excellent company to do business with. I obtained 5 estimates for this job. Recom's estimate was neither the highest nor the lowest, but I went with them because I got the sense they had good people and did quality work. Their sales rep (Paul Raleigh) put a lot of effort and care into figuring out what the right system for our condo and for our needs would be. He took measurements of all the rooms, of the ductwork, the registers etc. Some of the other companies did this as well, but some did not and one fellow did not even look at our current furnace/AC. Paul also spent a lot of time explaining the different options for system configurations and price configurations. Finally, he was very easy to reach throughout the whole buying and installation process. The installation itself took a day and a half. There were a couple small oversites that they had to come back for, and that they fixed. The system has been running flawlessly since then (a few months now).

When I called, Paul answered and was very polite and helpful in determining what could be wrong with my A/C system. The service technician who performed the work was timely and called ahead of his arrival. He performed the work quickly and professionally. I am very happy with service and am glad that I found an honest company that I can count on in the future.

My overall experience with ReCom was an extremely positive one. Paul Raleigh arrived at my home and conducted a thorough analysis (3 full hrs) of my homes heating/A/C needs. He recommended that doing the job RIGHT would require replacing the 4 ton A/C unit with a 3 1/2 ton A/C unit and adding more return vents, not just replacing an over-sized unit. The other 4 business's I had give me estimates recommended replacing the 4 ton unit with no consideration for my true heating/A/C needs. Paul's experience in HVAC was clearly above the rest of Angie's List's top rated businesses. All the workers were on time, very professional, and experienced. Paul coordinated the removal, installation, plumbing and necessary electrical work over a two day period. The system is working perfectly cooling my house quickly on these 90 degree days. I HIGHLY recommend that you consider their services if you have to replace or install your HVAC system. They don't cut any corners and get the job done right.

Paul Murphy was the company representative we dealt with. He was highly personable and responsive. He spent time educating us on air conditioning features and recommendations for our house. We trusted him and felt comfortable with using ReCom for this service, but in the end a family friend in the business was able to offer a lower price.
