The initial estimation call was very informative. No other exterminator I called was willing to come out and provide an estimate. We invited them back to perform the services. They were very responsive about setting up the time & arriving fairly punctually. Since the 1st treatment we called them back for another treatment & what they have done seems to have eliminated the ants & mice for now.

They were able to resolve it. They were very attentive. They returned a few times for follow up visits. Very professional. I would highly recommend them.

Sean was incredible. I initially called to find out if he did furniture fumigations. He didn't do furniture fumigations but then he suggested several companies that did so and took the time to look up their numbers for me. None of them panned out. Then I called to see if I could bring the desk into Greenhow for him to look at it to see if it was, in fact, infested. He insisted instead that he would come by my house on his way back from another job. He came right when he said he would. He spent a lot of time inspecting the piece of furniture and explaining to me what frass looks like and why this was obviously just sawdust and showing me where the repairs that produced the sawdust had been. He went over the thing with a fine tooth comb before declaring it bug free. When I asked how much I owed him, he refused to take any money. I even argued with him about it because he had performed such a great service for me. Still, he refused. I had used a different company for pest control in the past and was quite satisfied with them. I was so impressed with Sean and his staff that from now on, I will only use Greenhow.

They are extremely good, because they understand your needs well. They were the best amongst all the people we used earlier. They dealt with carpenter ants for us and sprayed quarterly. They charged us $250 for the job, annually. I recommend their services and will use the same in future.

Sean was extremely helpful in educating me each step of the way about the process of ridding a home of fleas. He came out promptly to deal with an increasingly disturbing and difficult situation. He gave clear instructions about how we needed to followup the treatment to make it most effective. He was very available for questions after the treatment, and he offered to apply an additional treatment once our tenants had moved out and before we rented the apartment again. This was a very stressful experience, and Sean's professional presence was an enormous help.

My first contact with the office was a positive one. I was provided with helpful information and an appointment was scheduled for two days later. Sean, the owner, arrived for the free inspection and took a lot of time with me, inspecting my property inside and out and discussing my options with me. Early the next week, I had my initial treatment, which immediately addressed some of the issues I had discussed with Sean. When it appeared that I was still experiencing problems outside with one particular pest, I emailed Sean on a Saturday to tell him about the problem. Later that same afternoon, Sean showed up at my house, re-treated for the pests, and told me to let him know if I continued to see the pests and he'd send someone right back. To sum up, the service so far was excellent and the price was well worth it.

We have been using them for about two years. They have a quarterly plan. They use child friendly and pets friendly methods. I don’t have to worry about my kids and dog. They explain everything to me. They are knowledgeable and they share their knowledge. We are pretty happy with the price.

Originally, I thought I had an ant problem, but they thought that wasn?t really a problem. They do general spraying around and block up all the holes to prevent mice. They are great. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

They found some termite damage and a dead mouse in a closet. They didn't charge us a cent.

Sean Greenhow is the owner of the company. He came out and did a complete top to bottom evaluation of our entire building. He went through each unit in our building and mice-proofed and bat-proofed it. He was just terrific. He was a really good person and really easy to work with. He was just incredible. They offer environmentally friendly live trapping. They come out monthly and we pay them monthly. We pay for a three-unit condominium. They are very good at explaining things and provide great service. They are amazing. They also provide lawn care, dehumidification, rainwater harvesting, and pet exclusion services.

Haven't heard or seen evidence of a mouse since the work was done. This was a totally wonderful experience. I'd have Sean back in a heartbeat. He was amazingly responsive and available by phone and email. A+++ for service.

They did a fantastic job. We have a contract with them so they will be back. Very pleased with them.

I loved everything but the price quote, which was an ASTONISHING $2180 (minus $50 Angie's List discount). I couldn't believe it. I contracted with another highly rated AL service provider for 1 year ant service. Cost was $265. I believe GreenHow would have done a good job, but the price is extremely high.

Greenhow comes to our home quarterly to perform pest control maintenance. They always respond quickly to my calls. Also, they are extremely good about explaining things to me thoroughly (i.e. what they?re doing and why). I like that they are comfortable with open communication. I would definitely recommend them to others.

As with all the services Sean and his team have provided(ranging from ant, squirrel, bee, mouse control/removal), we were extremely happy with thier help and as with all our pest control needs we've been able to get the pest population under control and eradicate them as much as possble. Thier green/non-toxic line of insect and pest control sprays and traps along with the lawn fertilizer and mineral applications make them the only choice for our family.

I bought my condo as a bank sale. There were mice in traps. Shawn came out and did an evaluation and educated me about the life cycle of mice and how they operate. I didn?t just get service, I got an education of the different pests and how they use their methods and prevent problems with them. He was very thorough and made very helpful recommendations which I followed. They give excellent follow up and are very professional. At first I thought this would be more pest control than I needed, but in May I was in my bedroom folding laundry and a mouse walks into my 2nd story bedroom like he owned the place! I called Greenhow and they said they?d be right over. He came out and set some traps, but I rediscovered the mouse that evening and Greenhow came out at 9 that night to set more traps which successfully caught the mouse. He removed it promptly in the morning. I am so impressed with them, they have got my business!

Good experience - they seem very knowledgeable and the pests have mostly disappeared.

Sean was very knowledgeable and left some literature for us to review. He answered all our questions and explained the ants' nesting habits, emphasizing that you treat the NEST, not the area they're in. He lest us with an estimate and reminded US of the $50 coupon for Angie's members. I called the next morning to see if he could squeeze us in the following day, and he did. He gave us a 2-hour window, called to apologize and say he was running late and that he'd knock off another $20. And he did. Sean worked efficiently and finished in the time he said it would take Two weeks later, General Manager Lauren sent us a thank you for your business note. We've never gotten one from any other service company! Now THAT is customer service.

They went through the house from attic to basement (including outside-access crawl space), pointing at visible problems (mostly droppings indicating rodents had been there), possible problems, AND areas where we were OK; very clear explanation of what and why they would do and what they recommended a contractor for (blocking some soffits against possible squirrel access). First visit went very well, including them coping with some cleanup they'd asked for and I hadn't gotten to. A little difficulty scheduling the first periodic visit due to missed calls/responses, but they did let us know on the day that they would be arriving near the end of the window for the appointment.

I have a couple of reasons for using them. The first reason is they really solved the problem. The second reason is their price is reasonable. The third reason is they try to do everything to avoid the strong chemicals. They start with the weakest of the solution and then they go up. I had the carpenter ant problem and they came about three times to do that. They don't charge per visit but they charge per quarter. So I can call them as many times as possible in three months to solve the problem or I can just pay the money without using them for the quarter. I have never used any other pest control company so I can't compare them but my experience with them has been good. I have had problems in reaching them, sometimes when I try to call them no body is available there. They don't return the calls and I have had to call them again but mostly it's been okay.

They were very responsive and came when they said they would. They were spot on with the advice that they gave me.

Perfect. They did what they said, when they said. It worked, the yellow jackets are gone. Very pleasant and easy experience.

Sean was able to come to our house the day after we called about a mysterious infestation discovered under our rugs. He arrived at the promised time, asked questions, inspected the area, and collected samples. He examined them under magnification but couldn't identify the tiny round b**** right away, although he was able to rule out certain problems. He was planning to take the samples with him for further study, when he did some additional inspection. He looked at some wrist and ankle weights nearby and discovered that one had a small tear and was leaking the stuffing, made of the material we saw under the rugs, which turned out to be metal, not insects or insect-related. So we didn't need pest control or extermination after all, but and we would definitely call Sean if we ever needed such services. He was a great detective. He was personable and professional, and he refused any payment, saying that estimates are always free.
