Joe was extremely prompt in getting back to me and very easy to talk to. He worked very hard to give me exactly what I wanted and wasn't satisfied unless I was 100%. He and his crew put my shed together quickly and without any fuss and built a beautiful foundation to put it on as well. They even went to the store and got the materials themselves, which was great. He came back the next day to put on the finishing touches and to make sure all was in order. A perfect job and so professional and courteous. I've already asked him back to do some lattice work on my deck.

I was happy with his work. He did what I asked and in a timely manner. His communication with me was very good. He left the work site clean. When he was doing the job he found a few other areas that needed attention that had not seen when I hired him, we discussed what I wanted, he fix the additional areas and adjusted the added cost fairly based on the rate he stated in his original proposal. I would use Joe again in the future.

Joe was great. We had trouble finding a contractor to do some interior painting and small odd jobs when we bought a house in Mansfield. A lot of people were really unreliable and didn't get back to us or didn't show up to give a quote. Joe was reliable and did a quality, professional job that we are happy with. We will use him again.

Joe is a great guy! Very diligent and hardworking, and he takes a lot of pride in the work he does. He was very responsive to our concerns, and was initiative in dealing with several unanticipated issues associated with painting a 100+ year old house. In part, due to his diligence, the job took a bit longer than he anticipated, especially since he did most of it without any additional crew. We would definitely hire him again for painting, tiling, and other related house projects.

I actually looked them up for my in-laws.Their service was excellent. My in-laws were very, very pleased. The guy just went above and beyond. We were happy with the price and very pleased with the service. We had a molding that just needed to be partly replaced but they replaced the whole thing without extra costs. They did an excellent job in the basement. We contacted three different contractors and he was the only guy who came up and was responsive. We were very happy with this guy.

. He arrived both days on time, left for a quick lunch break and came back and stayed until it was finished. He is very focused, but he is also very friendly. I worked 2 full days and accomplished so much during that time. I would highly recommend him.. We will be moving soon and I would like to hire him to do some work in our new home. He is extremely knowledgeable and his work is meticulous.. As usual Mark came through with the difficult to source parts and got the door adjusted and working properly. He provided a temporary fix that kept the house secure until he could get some hard to find parts and then returned and fixed the door latching and lock system permanently. He even came in between jobs and adjusted the other French door he had already adjusted and repaired earlier that we were having some trouble with and didn't charge for that visit!

I could not have been more satisfied with pride services. I have a very troublesome kitchen floor, a product of a not so successful DIY job. My kitchen floor is very uneven and because of that, titles keep breaking and grout doesn't hold in place very long. Joe did an excellent job fixing a poorly executed title work and corrected the mistakes as he found them. He communicated the expectations of the job results very clearly at the beginning, was always punctual and a really nice guy to work with. I would recommend Pride Services to my friends and would most definitely hire them in the future.

Joe was terrific. He takes a lot of PRIDE in his work. He painted 3 rooms. He was very particular about repairing and preparing the walls and trim before he started painting. He also installed new shelves and fixed a loose handrail and installed doorknobs. I really appreciated his work ethic. He was generous with his time and a really nice person to have in my home. I would definitely recommend him for his all around skills and careful work.

Joe was extremely courteous, neat, and professional. I was extremely happy with the job he did to repaint some ceilings/walls that had to be re-plastered after a burst-pipe fiasco. I will be using Joe again for future work.

Joe was prompt, courteous and neat. He followed up as he said he would, he fit us into his busy schedule at the last minute and came in on estimate. The kitchen ceiling had a smoke stain which we had tried to fix ourselves, but we only made it worse. Joe was able to fix our mistake, and the ceiling now looks brand new! Joe had to do more " cutting in" than normal due to the wooden ceiling beams in the living room. We were amazed at how fast Joe was able to do this job. The vaulted ceiling in the living room was painted the same color as the walls, only 75% lighter. It gives the room a far warmer feeling than the original flat white. Joe made some other suggestions for changes we are contemplating and we intend to use him for some renovations in the near future. He was a pleasure to have around and enjoyed greeting our golden retriever every morning when he arrived. We look forward to working with Joe very soon.

I originally bought the Big Deal for 8 hours of painting. I asked Joe to try to get the walls and celing in my bedroom done in the 8 hour period. He did, but did it with such attention to detail, and obvious concern and care for the finished product, that i decided to hire him to come back and finish by painting all the trim, and doing the bathroom as well. The room was a late '50s addition to my 1920 Bungalow. Half the wall space was louvered doors in a poly'ed wood stain. A painters nightmare. Not only did Joe work tirelessly until the job was done, but his total approach was to make sure i was satisfied. I kept adding little things and nothing ever threw him off, or affected his attitude. Even in the midst of a personal tragedy, Joe was always responsive, personable, and helpful. In the end, i have a beautiful room, and have contracted Joe to come back in April to finish painting the interior of the house. I cant recommend Joe highly enough.

Joe did an excellent job, showed up as scheduled and worked full days. All painting was donee by hane, with trimwork all sealed and prepped before painting. Services were also offered at a fair price.

Still not done, but that's my fault not his, he'll come back when I call him. Filled in a gap around a ceiling fan that I tried to install myself in master bathroom, and then patched the plaster, etc. That also needs a second coat, but again, my fault, not his. He (Joe) was very punctual, and professional. Super nice guy, has everything he needs in his truck. He explains as much, or as little as you want. Will let you know if there are more than one way to do something, and provides his recommendation, along with the pros/cons of doing it each way. 100% happy with his work, would and WILL use him again for any handyman services I will need in the future.

Joe was a real professional from the beginning. He contacted me immediately upon my purchase of this Angie's List Deal. And we quickly set up an appointment within a few days of that. Joe called the morning of, to confirm that the time was still good, and told me exactly when he would arrive. He was exactly on time. It started off with me showing him the various things I needed doing (WAY more than 8 hrs worth) and let him decide what he could get done in the 8 hrs. We settled on him fixing my "hack job" attempt at installing a new ceiling fan in the master bathroom. This consisted of fixing the light which wouldn't come on. I though I had wired it incorrectly, but he found that it was a defective wire in the unit itself. He fixed that. The other part of that project was filling in the 3" gap where the old fan was a completely different shape (square versus rectangle). This required cutting some drywall and plastering, etc. The plastering isn't quite done, because he had to stop to let it dry for a couple days. He'll come back when I have another day off. With the holidays, etc., I just haven't had the time, so its 100% my fault its not done, not his. Bottom line: The light now comes on and the whole straight to the attic is gone, and the half finished plaster looks 10x better than what I had one to it. The other thing I had him do is fix a very large (roughly 4' long x 4" wide) ceiling stain from the same bathroom which had a leak in the shower. He stripped the old plaster off, along the seam, and applied a new coat. Again, not done, my fault not his, I just have to call him back to finish, when I have time. It looks worlds better than it did, and just needs the second coat to look its best. Joe is a very nice guy, extremely friendly and 100% committed to doing the best possible job. He takes his work and his company very seriously and he strikes me as the type of person that if you're not happy, he's not happy and he'll do everything within his power to make it right. Bottom Line: I will DEFINITELY have him back for the million and one other small handyman type projects I need done around the house.

He did well. He helped out by going to Home Depot and getting some parts that were missing from the box. He went out of his way to help me. He is very friendly, upbeat, and responsive. He uses both the phone and text messaging to get back to me.

Joe did a great job. He was very thorough and meticulous, wanting everything to be perfect. I'm very pleased with how the job turned out. The walls in my basement now look great. He arrived on time and stayed a little extra to get the job done. He is very firendly and professional and I will definitely use his services again.

The provider surpassed my expectations - we are very appreciative of the work that Joe completed for us. Everything looks much brighter and the house looks like a totally different place. The work was done in a complete, tjhorough and professional manner. The time frame and price which we were quoted were spot on Also, during and after he completed the job the provider indicated that we should look over his work for touch ups ( because of daylight, shadows, etc) if they are necessary. When we called for a needed touch up, he responded immediately and the touch up was done. The provider's demeanor was an added plus -- very friendly and positive. We will keep this provider in mind for any future work that we may need done to our house.

He came to see the job on Saturday. We didn't schedule a work day until Monday around 10:15AM. We set it for Thursday, December 12, 2013 all day. However, something came up and I contacted him on Tuesday, December 10th at night to ask if he could come on Saturday instead of Thursday. He said no, because he is going away this weekend. I gave him 3 other dates that he could possibly come (December 20, 23, or 27th.) He didn't choose any of those dates instead he said he could come on Friday half day. I said that is ok. He asked if I still needed him for Thursday. I said no, I thought we agreed on Friday half day. He said ok have a good night. Today around 11:30AM I texted him to confirm hat he would arrive 8:30 on Friday. He asked me to call him. When I called him he spent 15 minutes complaining about my canceling Thursday's work day last minute on him. I told him I thought he had moved on and he went on for another 5 minutes about it. Finally, I told him, listen I don't think this is going to work out. I won't end up using the Big Deal coupon, because I don't think we'll agree. That is when he said to me I had already called Angie's List to complain about you and that you cancelled last minute on me for Thursday and they are willing to give you a refund. I said okay, no problem, I think its best we just go our separate ways. I appreciate the refund. End of conversation.

We recently had Joe with Pride Services install a ceramic tile backsplash in our kitchen. Joe took the time to show me pictures of some tile work that he had done in the past and the work looked really good. Joe did a good job getting the job done on time and on budget. Joe helped us make the right decisions for the layout of the tile and helped us make a decision on the spacing and grout color. As usual Joe kept a very tidy workspace and was careful to keep our newly installed butcher block countertops clear of any mortar or grout. We are very please with the outcome of the job. We would feel very comfortable recommending Pride Services in the future. I will definitely consider using Pride Services for tile work in the future.

The experience with Joe at Pride Services went very well. We were remodeling the out of date kitchen in our historic victonian home. The challenge with this space is to restore and paint much of the very old (yet beautiful) crown moulding and woodwork through out the kitchen. The job required a lot of of preparation work, sanding, caulking and filling. The job then required some very detailed paint work to make sure that all of the nooks and crannies of the moulding were painted. I must says that Joe was meticulous with his preparation and paint work of the moulding and wood work, the outcome is fantastic. The other part of the job required painting existing wooden cabinets. Through deep research we uncovered that the best way to paint existing cabinets is with an HVLP spray painter. Joe did an oustanding job with the spraying and the cabinets look as if they are factory finished. We are very happy with the outcome. Joe is always pleasant and gets the job done when he says it will get done. He takes his time to make sure the job is done right and kept me involved to make sure I understood all the steps he was taking.

Pride Services does an excellent job painting. All the necessary preparation was done to ensure a beautiful painting job when completed. Joe Huber is the best contractor we have had at our home. He also finished our basement last winter and did a thorough and complete job and it looks beautiful! His recommendations for flooring and electrical contractors were also excellent and fairly priced. Earlier this fall he also completed some exterior painting for us in spots we could not get to without special equipment. He also worked with a vinyl siding contractor to wrap 8 exterior windows to save us the painting in the future. This job was also fairly priced and done with great care and professionalism. We would highly recommend Pride Services to do work in your home.

I had a small to mid sized one day project that Joe knocked out of the park. A+++ JOB. I am super pleased with the outcome. Joe was a pleasure to work with!
