Pride Services and General Contracting

I contacted 4 contractor/handyman services to install a safety bar in our bathtub/shower enclosure. One declined the job because it was a safety issue, two of them never got back to me but Joe Huber of Pride Services did call me. When I explained what I wanted, he said he'd be down to do the job within 2 days. He was true to his word, arrived on time & did a great job! We would highly recommend him. Thanks Joe, you gave me peace of mind knowing my husband will be safer now.

We hired Pride Services because we liked that Joe was both a professional painter and a general contractor. We knew that we'd have other projects in the near future. Joe did a fantastic job! He is highly professional - always on-time, incredibly neat and his estimates on price and timeframe were spot-on. His experience and attention to detail were very evident. The rooms look great! He also helped us change out doorknobs, window treatments and a light fixture. He was really great about answering our questions, educating us on how we can take care of some home maintenance things on our own, and took the time to give us good advice about upcoming projects. Pride Services exceeded our expectations: we will definitely hire him again, and highly recommend him.

Went very well. Joe showed up on time, was very careful to follow installation guidelines and completed work in a timely manner. I am very happy with his work and will call again when I have additional work to be done.

We hired Joe for the 4th time ( A rated work every time and have left reviews) to paint the interior of our townhouse. As always, Joe was courteous, trustworthy and exceeded our expectations. Joe was excellent and I cannot say enough about his work. He was courteous and the communication between him and myself was great. He was the nicest person and knew everything needed to be done for the door to look good. He was able to open up his schedule for the project and he is very detail oriented in the best of ways. He let my wife and I know about any issues he found before proceeding and was very quick and kept the area very clean. I cannot wait to contact him for another home project in the near future. Bought a studio condo that needed a lot of work. So happy we found Joe / Pride Services via Angie's List. He totally lived up to the stellar reviews that many have left. He scheduled a review of the unit the day after we called him, was on time, and was extremely thorough in his review of the work to be done as well as the estimates provided. The work began a week later and could not be happier. He completed the following: 1. Patched and painted the ceilings and walls, as well as painted all the trim/base boards (multiple coats). 2. Installed a new vanity/sink/faucet/drain in the bathroom. 3. Installed new closet doors. 4. Installed new 2" blinds in all windows. 5. Painted metal backsplash behind the oven. 6. Installed new base boards in closets and bathroom. The unit looks fantastic and the work was done on schedule. We will definitely be using Joe / Pride Services again in the future. Highly recommended!

This was the second time we hired Joe and it won't be the last. After being so impressed by the deck he did for us, we hired Joe for interior painting and he did an amazing job with that as well. Joe is a true professional who takes a lot of pride in his work. Not only does Joe do amazing work but he is very respectful of your home as well. He left the place spotless at the end of every day. Joe is very easy to work with and we already have plans to hire Joe again. It can sometimes be a challenge to find a contractor that you trust so we are thankful that we have Joe to help with future projects.

Joe was very responsive when I first contacted him regarding some work that needed doing around our home. He did an amazing job fixing up the grout in our shower. In addition, he fixed some defects in our walls, a broken sink stopper, and a drain cover for our back patio. My wife and I are very pleased with the work he did. If you need any work done in your home, please do yourself a favor and give Joe a call.

Joe came out the night I called and started the work 2 days later. Joe is courteous. He is respectful of your home,your family and your time. He works hard Even on a Saturday to get my bathroom up and running ASAP! He is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. When he’s done for the day he cleans up completely. The bathroom is terrific. It was small to begin with but now it’s small AND functional!! Looks wonderful and works beautifully! I would never hesitate to have Joe do any work for me. He laid some peel and stick for me in a small entryway. He hung a new bifold closet door also! Joe is a Jack if all trades and master of them all!

Everything went extremely well. Joe was a pleasure to have do the work in my kitchen. The cabinets and my kitchen have been transformed! Joe was prompt, thorough, and a stickler to detail. I couldn't have asked for a better person for the job. I would hire Joe again

Joe came to the house and fixed the siding first thing in the morning 2 days after we connected by phone. He worked quickly and communicated the issue and what needed to be done to fix it.

Watch out -- inspect your work carefully. I didn't notice at the time, but there were bare spots on the walls. The contractor has literally been stringing me along for years now.

Joe was friendly and easy to work with. His prices were fair and reasonable, and his work was quality. He was always on time, and cleaned up after he completed his work every day. By the end of our project, we felt like he was part of the family! We will definitely call him again.

Joe is very detail oriented. I especially appreciated that he took his time and did not rush through the work. I think this is a rare quality to find these days. He did a quality job. He also takes time at the end of the day to clean up the mess and put things back where they belong minimizing any disruption my family might feel due to the work going on. The color scheme of the interior now is very lovely and modern. I would recommend Joe.

We hired Joe to replace our deck. Joe was very responsive throughout the whole process. Joe exceeded our expectations and definitely over delivered. We are thrilled with the way the deck came out and would definitely hire Joe again.

Joe was a pleasure to work with. He kept in touch with me, did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. We had asked him to replace an old bathroom sliding door and he recommended a pocket door and it is the BEST! I would definitely recommended Joe and I plan on hiring him again for other projects.

Joe did a great job! Joe took on a project that was a bit unorthodox but took it in stride and was happy to take on the challenge. He was at my house every day working on the project until it was completely finished. Joe was communicative, trustworthy, fair and worked extremely hard to make sure it was done right. We worked together to come up with solutions and he was very open to my ideas and suggestions. I highly recommend Pride Services and plan to hire him once again for more work. It was a real pleasure working with Joe.

As always, Joe is the man! This is the 3rd time I've hired Joe for a project. I can't recommend him enough! He's always professional, punctual, and quite the perfectionist. He doesn't cut corners and will spend the extra time to make sure the job comes out perfect. As I have come to expect, his communication, professionalism, punctuality, and quality of work were all on point.

We hired Joe to replace our aging deck and wow, he sure delivered! He took the vague ideas that we asked for and translated them into a work of art and fine craftsmanship. His work is excellent and his attention to quality and detail separates him from others who prefer only to do the bare minimum.
