1. The job went very well. I was unsure what to do to prepare the home to be sold. I had shown the home twice and had some negative feedback. Joe from Pride Services came in as one of the bidders on the job and made recommendations on what to do to keep the expense in control but improve the appearance and condition of the home. His estimate was reasonable and the way he approached the job impressed me. He informed me of areas of concern and explained how he would resolve the problem areas. Even though he told me of the challenges that could be faced so that I was informed he had a very "can do" and "this is what has worked in the past" attitude. The home was my mothers and I wanted to make the best decisions and Joe was there with advice and experience. The job was completed on time so the house could be shown at its best and within budget. 2. I recommended Pride Services to my employer, the Cathedral of St. John in Providence.Pride Services was the best bid and was selected to do the job. There were time constraints because the pipe had to be repaired before the room was painted and all of this had to be done before the Sunday School year began which only left Pride Services few days to do the job. The Cathedral is a structure dating back to 1810 with large windows and trim that has cracked from the building settling. The walls were stained from the leak upstairs. Joe and his helper went beyond the expectations of the job and made the cracked trim look pristine and brought life back into the lovely old window with its multiple panes of glass. When I asked Joe about it he said that he was painting it anyway, and he feels that the end result is a reflection on him so he should make it look the best he can. 3. Pride Services painted a bedroom and bathroom in my home. To me the job looked challenging because the walls were dark red and I did not want to have to paint the ceiling .The job had to be done while I was away and I have pets. When we came home the job was done and the pets were safe.

Pride was selected as the main contractor for the flooring and tile installation. They coordinated the work and did furniture and appliance relocation / re installation while a subcontractor did the actual installation of the floor and tile. Work began on time. Very nice installation of the floor, with complete removal of all waste and scrap materials. Stove, refrigerator, dish washer, clothes washer, clothes dryer, and toilet all removed and then reinstalled by Pride Services. Total job took a few days longer than planned, however, the crew was on site and working full days every day. The schedule extension was due to unexpected issues with the attachment of the sub flooring beneath the existing flooring, as well as some unknown rot near one of the doors. Floor looks great, very professional installation, will use in future when we do the flooring in other rooms.

Job was scheduled for 2 days, beginning on 11/11. Pride Services arrived on 11/10 to setup initial scaffolding. Work began on schedule and took the stated 2 days. Found and replaced a damaged board around the vent pipe for a trivial increase in cost ($8 for materials). Scaffolding was taken down at end of job and picked up next day. All waste was collected and removed, and yard was cleaned of any scraps and nails. Very satisfied.

Pride Services ("Joe") explained all the work that would be done. He gave my wife and myself different pricing options; and then he created a contract that I assigned. We paid 1/2 up-front and the other 1/2 at the end of the job. After the work had been completed, Joe came back and asked if the job had been done to our satisfaction. He was fully prepared to fine-tune any concerns that we might have, at no extra cost. There were no concerns, and we were completely satisfied with the work done!
