Bill and his crew were AMAZING.... dealing with all the snow and ice they were great and manged things greatly. I thought so highly of his work that I offered him an opportunity to bid on renovation job that we have planned for early Spring! Thank you Bill for always being on time. answering the phone, being responsive and your professionalism. It was great working with you and I would highly recommend you for any task.....nothing too big or small!

Working with Breeze Carpentry was fabulous throughout the entire process. Bill came to look at the project and provided a prompt and reasonable estimate. He kept me informed of when they would start. He answered my questions throughout the process. Once they started work they were efficient, clean and their experience and attention to detail was obvious. They did a great job and stayed within the original estimate.

Not only was the job done timely and on budget, but Bill went over and above to finish the job perfectly! He replaced a set of stairs for us, as well as touching up other parts of our deck to keep it all updated and flowing well. He quoted on price and went over budget to do the job right, and didnt even charge us! His care and concern for us as first time clients was like no other worker we have had since moving into our home. I already have plans to use Breeze Carpentry again! Bill and team did a great job on our bathroom remodel. From the first visit for a quote, it was clear that he was very thorough and knowledgeable. He arrived on time for the appointment, took lots of measurements and asked all the necessary questions that some other contractors didn?t ask. He provided us a timely quote that was within our price expectations, and because of his reviews and status on Angie?s List, we went with him despite a mild concern about the distance between our home and his business. While it did take a bit longer than we hoped to schedule a date to start our project, Bill was upfront about timing from the beginning, and gave us tasks to complete before work began. He told us what we needed to provide and what he would provide so that when he was ready to start, everything would be ready for him. Once the project began, Bill was great to work with. He provided us with regular updates on the project through email and in person, including which workers were coming on which days, what work was being done on each day, and if he had any questions. We?ve worked in the past with plumbers, electricians, locksmiths, etc and Bill was by far the best at replying to emails, phone calls, and general communication. Even when some tiles fell from the ceiling of our downstairs neighbor?s bathroom because of the work on our bathroom, Bill was overly accommodating and coordinated a time to fix our neighbor?s ceiling as soon as posssible. The final product turned out great and was completed with very little interruption to our normal schedule. We were extremely satisfied with the final results.

Bill and his crew are extremely down to earth and pleasant to work with. We had hired them before for a full bathroom remodel last fall and couldn't wait to work with them again. Bill is upfront, honest and a perfectionist in regards to his work. He does everything the "right way" even if it's not the easy way. We had all kinds of issues come up with our basement remodel and he went above and beyond to fix everything. He is a real professional and takes great pride in his work. At the end of every day, they clean up and organize. They hung plastic so that dust stayed out of the main living areas and they covered our new deck so that they didn't track dirt and saw dust over it. They take great care in making sure that everything is clean and organized. I can't say enough good things about Bill and his crew (Brad and Kenny). If we have any future projects, they will be the first company we call!

We met Bill Breeze while he was building a porch for our next door neighbor. I am very interested in watching the progress of these types of projects and I was very impressed by the quality of workmanship that he provide for my neighbor. He obviously had top notch design skills and created a wonderful porch for my neighbor which looks beautiful and most importantly is built to be safe to carry any load they could possibly put on it. So, I chatted up Bill one day and had him look at the back porch of our Three Decker house. One footing was rotting away and there was other damaged support beams. The City inspector required us to replace the whole porch. Bill fitted us into he busy schedule and took on the project to replace the back porch. I must say that Bill did an amazing job at a very fair price. The porch is so solid and well built that even the City Inspector complemented Bill on his work. We are delighted to have a safe and enjoyable porch for ourselves and our tenants to enjoy. Note that Bill did a LOT of work in preparing this porch. First he came up with a solid design, then he put in the extra effort to dig and build three massive "sonotube" footings. I saw him and his crew digging and sweating in the summer heat. The effort to create a solid foundation for the porch did not go unnoticed. Bill also took care of hiring the crew to dismantle the old porch. He really solved a lot of problems for us. Also, We then asked Bill to do some work on our front porch to fix some storm damage from a huge tree limb that clobbered the railings and the deck. He did a great job there too. I can't say enough what a nice people Bill and his crew were to have around the house. There work is first class, their prices reasonable, and their attention to detail is impeccable. If there is a project where we need carpentry, or railings whether inside or outside, Bill will be our first call. I wish your review system had an A+ rating, Bill would deserve that for sure !

Very prompt response to our inquiry through Angie's list. Came quickly to look a job and provided quick estimate. We had to wait a bit for service, as the first date offered, we were not available, then they got busy with spring work. It was okay with us.

I can not say enough good things about Bill and his crew!!!! The work was excellent, everyone was professional, courteous and prompt. If there was a change in the schedule, it was due to supplies needed rather than the crew not being on time. I LOVED working with Bill. From the first time I met him I felt like he really listened to what I wanted and understood that I love this antique home and wanted to keep the 'feel' of the house while updating the fixtures. He understood and honored my not 'gutting' it completely and found the subcontractors we needed to fulfill my dream. I wanted to keep the antique, built in bathtub. It was in sad condition, really needing re-glazing - but built in tubs that are that deep are a rarity!!!! He found a reglazer who came to the house at the end of the project and they even advised us on how to keep the reglazing fresh and last longer! Bill assessed the job, made recommendations and told us how he would approach the job. He pointed out things that were visually connected to the finished product (although the door was actually in the kitchen) and suggested that it would look more polished if we included it in the job. He was very honest with his pricing. We discussed finishing ideas and he made some great suggestions as to trim work that looks fabulous and kept with the feeling of the era of the house- yet looks very modern! Most of the house still has the original wooden floors. The bathroom really need help in the floor area! Poorly done amateur work had to be removed, and then Bill and his crew worked to make it possible to lay down tiles that resemble wooden planks. When things didn't work at first, they pulled it up and relaid the tile so it was 'right'. Please understand - they weren't working with a modern perfect floor! They were dealing with 100 plus years of sagging, settling and aging. It probably would have been easier to lay down a smaller patterned tile, but these stayed with the feel of the rest of the house- and so he worked very hard to achieve this goal. They found that the tub was so old... that the drain system was so antiquated that they marveled that it would drain at all! That had to be addressed as well. They did a beautiful job with the old plaster walls. They had to tear out the walls around the tub- they were too far gone, but the rest of the walls they skim coated and painted and the look good as new. We chose white tile with a black accent instead of a shower surround- and it is worth EVERY PENNY!! No more leaks... no more cracked plastic!!!! and it is so easy to clean! I used to cringe to have people in to use the bathroom- now I can smile and I don't mind giving my granddaughter a 'tubby'! NOTE: after the initial consultation- all of our communication was done long distance! I was in Florida picking out tile sending him pictures and product numbers. I came up at the end to pick out paint colors and left them with my daughter so Bill could get them. I ask you.... how many remodeling jobs would YOU feel comfortable doing without being there? I'd say this was a HUGE vote of confidence in Bill, his integrity and the quality of work he provides. This included his subcontractors!!! **** Commentary on the communication issues I have read about here - have you ever tried to hear a cell phone on a construction site? Have you even tried to feel a vibration from one? Bill always always always returned my calls. Even if he hadn't sat down for dinner and it was well after 8pm. I would love to hire him again- and we will when we can start another project!

I called several times leaving several messages. When I did get a hold of him we set up a time for him to come look at the job. We went over all I was looking to have done and he said he'd email me a quote which I never received. Decided not to pursue with concern it was too hard to keep in touch with him.

After several messages I finally got a hold of Bill to set up an appointment to see the job. He came we went over everything and I never heard back from him. He was suppose to email me quote. Decided not to pursue due to difficulty of getting a hold of him.

Bill, his crew, and his sub-contractors were all professional, prompt and very responsive. They did a great job on the shower stall replacement and replacement and proper ducting of fans in both full baths.

Bill and his crew were great! Very professional, thourough, punctual, and left no mess behind. We had a few small projects plus a time consuming deck that needed sanding and painting. Bill responded to my request for him to come out and quote us very quickly and then was able to get these jobs done for us quickly! We are so pleased with the jobs that were done. We would definitely use Breeze Carpentry again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for work done.

Sent a message via Angie's list on 5/11/14 and left a voicemail on Bill's cell phone on 5/13/14. Still have not heard back. Very disappointed, very unprofessional. I agree with the last reviewer, even if you are busy with other jobs, a call back would be nice.

I chose another contractor who also gave an excellent bid.

Unfortunately, Bill's painter was unavailable for two weeks. Our electrician was waiting on the painting to be done, so he could finish his work. So, we had to go with another painter we contacted. However, we liked Bill very much. We found him to be very professional and helpful. We will contact him again in the future for other projects.

Bill did a great job on both the tiles and the drawers, they look great. Bill was courteous and professional. He even came back a week after finishing the work to place end caps on the tiles that I had forgotten to order. You will not be disappointed with his work at all. THANKS AGAIN BILL FOR THE WONDERFUL WORK YOU DID FOR US......

Can't say enough about Breeze Carpentry and Construction. I would not even think about using anyone else but Bill Lockney (owner) and his crew for any household projects I may have in the future. I have to say that I still go into this newly remodeled bathroom and it brings a smile to my face every single day. When people see the design of this bathroom (as well as the other bathroom Bill had previously remodeled for me), they are just blown away...I am so pleased with both the quality and the design of the bathroom. One other thing I would like to point out that is very important to me...The crew at Breeze Carpentry and Construction are extremely clean. They remove all the trash, and clean the areas before they leave daily! Not easy to find people so respectful of others property. I know I'm repeating myself, but...wouldn't use anyone else but them in my home......

Bill was very responsive. The earliest I could make it to the site was Saturday morning and he was there at 8:30 AM to look at the job. We emailed mostly for communication and I always had a reply on the same day. The area was completely cleaned after the job and everything looked great. Bill was a great person to work with as well. It felt good doing business with him. I couldn't be happier. I would definitely use him again.

Bill and his colleague Kenny were incredibly professional and did a wonderful job. They were on time and communicated with me about everything. They finished the job ahead of the estimated amount of time.

Bill was extremely down to earth and easy to work with. We changed our plan just before the project started and added additional requests during the process, and he took it all in stride and got it done! His crew is extremely respectful of your house, laying down drop cloths every single day before starting the job so as not to ruin our hardwood floors with foot traffic. They are friendly and trust worthy. We left them at the house to finish up on numerous days without our supervision and they cleaned and locked up before they left. Bill is great with communicating; texting me with information or questions. The work is impeccable and we couldn't be happier :-) We will definitley keep Breeze Construction on speed dial for all of our household construction needs!

Bill did a great job. He transformed the bathroom into a show place and had a lot of good advice. He was professional and completed the work in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, returning phone inquiry is not one of them. I would have liked to consider Bill to do my remodel but I called twice and left both work and home phone numbers. After a week and a half I have moved on. Too bad, his address is less than 2 miles from my home and would be a good winter project.
