Bill and his team did a great job on all three projects. Everything looks great and was done with the highest quality work and attention to detail.

Breeze are my go to guys for anything we want done around the house. We had two major projects: Kitchen cabinets and finishing off a section of the basement, as well as a bunch of minor stuff we wanted done around the house like a shelf over our tea making station. They were fast, efficient and do beautiful work. When we got the quote for the basement office, I assumed for the price they'd just be finishing off the inside of the room, but they even plastered and did baseboard on the exterior. We've got a rambunctious two year old and they helped us add some special child proof features that are both pretty and make our lives so much easier.

Excellent. We were at first reluctant to hire an unknown contractor but starting from our initial visit we knew Breeze Carpentry was the right fit for us. William and his crew put to rest all our bad past experiences. The two major projects were the removal/replacing and painting of water damaged walls and ceilings in 5 rooms and adding a 3/4 guest bath. William was always available to answer questions and offer advise. The new bath was replacing a linen closet and pantry. We were concerned about the loss of storage and William suggested a recessed cabinet in the new bath and a linen closet and floor to ceiling recessed cabinet in the existing bath. The new bath is also equipped with grab bar to assist my elderly mother and to accommodate us as we "age in place." Since the project completion we have had several friends over and they are in love with the new bath and custom recessed cabinets. They don't see all the hard work that went into the ice dam repairs, they see nicely pained walls and ceilings. What we see is the many hours of labor intensive work to insulate, board, plaster, sand and paint to perfection. Each day began with tarps placed to minimize dust and dirt and ended with a complete cleanup. We are happy to finally find a contractor we can depend on. We are happy to be added to Breeze Carpentry's list of repeat customers. Oh, I should also mention that William is also extremely patience and accommodating when asked to change/add item, I am adding some photo of our new bath. It was designed around the copper toned vessel sink. William did an outstanding job on the wall of stone behind the sink as well as the dark brown tiled floor and barn door. Thanks William

Man, I really don't know how to express how great Bill and his assistant Brad were. Giving him all 5's is the easiest review I have ever had to do. They had EXCELLENT communication with me, answered my phone calls and emails immediately, showed up when they said they would, and did fantastic work. I am now the proud owner of a new front porch and huge rear deck that will probably last longer that I will. Bill and his crew dug 10 four foot deep holes in total, between the front and the rear, which they filled with concrete to support the deck and the porch, which is not easy in our rocky Jamaica Plain soil. (also, you can probably figure out that neither of the old porches had any proper support at all, they were just sitting in the dirt. I'm lucky no one ever got hurt!) They then built beautiful, solid decks exactly according to our agreement. He arranged for the permits and also left the area beautifully clean every day. He hired a subcontractor to demolish my old deck (Which, due to the topography of my land, is about 12 feet in the air), and the subcontractor was also excellent. I feel so fortunate to have come across Bill on Angie's list. He's already writing up another proposal to redo my kitchen, and I am sure that I will hire him for the work, assuming that he can find the time to do the job. Bill is a gem, incredibly pleasant to work with, detailed, and very skilled. The kind of contractor it's hard to find anymore.

From quote to execution Breeze Construction was by far the best choice for this project. Not only was Bill prompt with his quote but he understood our need to break the project up into manageable pieces and addressed all of them clearly in the four-parts requested. Scheduling was also easily done as he had no issue managing all of the communication quickly and efficiently through email. Even day off he showed up, we talked through a few things to make sure we were all on the same page before he got started (always appreciated!) and then he got down to business. In the span of two days, I had beautiful, stain ready stairs. Bill even went the extra step with and plastered the walls where there were obvious size gaps between the old and new trim to make sure it all looked pristine.

From initial meeting and quote to final execution, Bill and his team were professional and prompt. Bill gave us updates almost every step of the way and was very responsive and patient with all our questions. Great craftsmanship and quality. We are very happy with the results and will first call on Bill for our future projects.

The job was executed in a professional and prompt manner. They arrived on time, removed all of the old debris, installed new composite trim and cleaned up after completion of the job. I am extremely pleased with the work performed. It was reasonably priced and the crew was extremely polite and friendly. I would highly recommend Breeze Carpentry and plan to have them come back for any future projects I may have.

Project took 5 weeks . All of the trades people brought in by Bill provided quality work; this includes plumbers, electrician, plaster and painter as well as the construction, flooring, tile and cabinet work provided by Breeze Construction. Bill and Brad were professional , trustworthy and communicative and there were no surprises. The design was a collaborative process as we needed someone to help us understand the possibilities and costs. I am very pleased.

Called and left message on 1/8/2016. Spoke with him shortly after that. He told me he was on vacation until 2/7/2016 and he would call when he gets back. I said I would wait to hear back from him. I gave him all last week to call and finally called and left him a message on Monday, 2/15/2016. It is now the end of the week and I still haven't heard from him and I suspect I never will. Don't waste your time with this contractor. In response to contractor's response, "NEVER told this member to "wait to hear back from us"? ", yes, they did tell me they would get back to me after 2/7/2016. Even if they didn't, they still didn't return my call when I did call them back. FAIL x 2

This is the second time I've used Breeze and, if it's possible, I was even more pleased with their services this time. The decks are now probably the best built part of the whole house. They paid great attention to detail, worked at a good clip and put up lovely decks exactly to my specifications.

Bill Lockery, the owner of Breeze Carpentry, is truly a master carpenter. He directs a staff of 2 assistants who are flexible, easy to work with, and skilled in their own right. There is no job, that Bill cannot handle. As we began work on our 1900s farmhouse, we enlarged the scope of the project to include the restoration of the stairwell to the second floor, the building of a new side. deck/entrance, and the remodeling of the kitchen. This was a multimonth project, that initially was focused on the remodeling of the bathroom, and the fixing of cracked walls, ceilings and deteriorating paint in the living room, dining room and family room. some issues were found with the house, including aging sewer lines, beams that were structurally compromised over the years during previous unprofessional attempts at remodeling, etc. Bill was able to explain the issues in layman's terms, along with rough cost estimates to remediate. As part of these projects, Bill relied on licensed plumbers, and electricians and all permits and inspections were performed. We will be using Breeze Construction, to rebuild our back deck, this fall, in addition to replacing some wood planks due to a washer leak. Since Breeze Construction performs quality work, there may be a delay in scheduling the start of projects, but it is well worth the wait!

Work began in July 2015. Bill and his crew started work immediately on the house and storage shed. Work performed included removal and replacement of sheetrock, insulation, and wood both inside and on the shed. Bill and his crew were very professional and also very friendly. They put down drop clothes, moved furniture and removed debris as required, never leaving any kind of mess. They also did some work that I considered over and above that was required. I can't say enough about Bill and his crew (Brad and Harry), very professional and hard working. They responded and resolved any issues that I brought up to them with speed and determination. If you need someone to do work on your property, call Breeze Carpentry, you can't go wrong.

Breeze Carpentry built an AMAZING treehouse for my son. The pride in craftsmanship is clear in the overall design, as well as the details, such as the trim, the shingles, and the custom built ladders. This was a small project for them, (and not a huge budget) yet they more than gave it its due. And they left the work site spotless. I am so pleased, and when I'm someday ready to put an addition on my house, I will absolutely call Breeze. Great vision, great workmanship. They are true professionals.

I have used this company before and didn't hesitate to call them again for repair work needed on my home. Bill is very prompt on returning calls and explains in detail what needs to be done. I had 5 rooms that had water damage from the previous winter's ice dams and although he was very backed up with all the jobs he had this year he began the job right on schedule. Bill and his crew are very professional and completed the work on time with great results. Walls and ceilings needed to be repaired and when they were done, everything looked better than it had before the damage occurred. The cost was more than reasonable. I always feel like I get more for my money with Breeze Carpentry! I highly recommend this company.

"My reputation means more to me than the money." There's something you don't hear everyday, and it perfectly sums up Bill and his crew as contractors with integrity. Last year we had a flooring contractor take up the hideously ugly carpet on our front hall, stairs, and upstairs hall, and refinish the hardwood floors underneath. On taking up the carpet, we discovered that the past owners of our house had, when they put the carpet down, removed the original trim along the stairs and screwed up the baseboard trim in the front hall. After the flooring contractor botched the job of refinishing the floor, we decided to bring in another contractor to finish the floors properly and fix the trim issues. Bill was referred to us by a friend. He gave us an honest assessment of what he thought we should do and gave us a reasonable quote, saying the job would take about 5 days all told. On the appointed day, his crew showed up promptly on time and got to work on the front hall and stair trim and the stair risers. When there was a scheduling snafu with the flooring subcontractor Bill brought in to do the refinishing job (which did push the job into the following week), he took ownership and worked with us to find a solution. When we found that the flooring equipment had scuffed a couple of the newly-painted risers, Bill's painter came back and repainted all of the stair trim and risers that he'd already painted once, going above and beyond what was necessary. We would recommend Bill and his crew at Breeze without hesitation.

We telephoned several weeks ago looking for an estimate for our project, but we did not receive the courtesy of a reply.

Bill and his company were very professional and honest. Estimate was well under what others had projected plus they came through with flying colors and even exceeding my expectations. I would and will hire them again!

Having been thoroughly satisfied with prior services performed by Breeze Carpentry and Construction, I contacted Bill on a Saturday when I found out that my dryer vent hose had a break in it. The hose had separated in the attic of my townhouse and the floor boards of my unfinished attic where the break occurred were completely covered in lint debris. (This break was discovered when the dryer vent snake used by my condo association during its annual dryer vent cleaning from the outside of my unit met resistance.) Needless to say, that once I discovered the problem, the dryer was not going to be used until the hose was replaced. Bill responded immediately to my call and came by that Saturday to check out the problem. He showed great concern because of the potential fire hazard this presented and said he would return on Monday to fix the problem. Bill and his assistant Kenny performed the following work in the replacement of my dryer vent hose: 1. Cut open attic flooring to expose damaged dryer vent; 2. Removed 24 Ln. Ft. of existing dryer vent; 3. Removed all lint debris; 4. Installed 3? to 4?dia. adapter; 5. Installed 24 Ln. Ft of new 4?dia. Hard Flex.; 6. Installed connectors/ hose clamps and metal heat tape; 7. Re-instaledl existing plywood sheeting.; and 8. Installed new 3/8? sheeting over cut area. As in my previous review, I highly recommend Bill and/or his crew. He is responsive, professional, trustworthy, honest, and truly cares about providing excellent service to his customers. If you need home updates and/or remodeling done, call Breeze Carpentry and Construction first. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work Bill. If you ever open up a location in Florida, let me know. Breeze Carpentry and Construction will be a hard act to follow. (smiles) I wish you and your crew continued success.

The project went extremely well. Bill and his team provided cost and time estimates very quickly. They arrived when scheduled and were professional and responsive. They were extremely clean, efficient and went above and beyond to make sure that the project was done the right way. They stayed on budget and were in contact throughout the project. The deck looks great and we are very happy.

I had them create some wooden stairs with pvc railings outside, coming into my house. They told me when they would be available to start the job and how long it would take and they were very accurate with this. They cleaned up after themselves every day and nicely at the end of the job. Bill was very clear about when the payments would be due, and the amount due. I had them do the top deck double width of what it had been and the whole job looks terrific. I would definitely use them for my next carpentry job.

I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. They were responsive, fairly priced and did a heck of a job. Communication was excellent and I would highly recommend using them for any carpentry or construction related work needed.

Despite terrible weather and conflicting schedules the floors came out great.

Very professional, honest person. The real test for the bees will come sometime in April or May. These were carpenter bees that nest in wood. I would definitely go with Breeze again.

We had horrendous ice dams and pretty bad water damage from it. Bill came out the day after I called him, gave me a quote and said he could come back Monday to do the work. He had his crew were excellent, efficient, perfectionist and affordable. I couldn't have asked for better service.
