Breeze Carpentry & Construction

Our decks were in desperate need of restoration. When I decided to use composite rather than standard treated lumber, I called Breeze Carpentry for an estimate last summer. Because of unforeseen circumstances, I had to postpone the project. When I called Bill this spring, and told him I was ready to go forward, he quickly came by with the composite samples. Tearing up the old boards and railings was a lot of messy work, but Bill and his crew did it quickly and neatly. The project began on a Monday (with one rain day in between) and ended on Thursday. At the end of each day, the mess was completely cleaned up before the crew left. Bill and his crew took great care and did a meticulous job installing the new material and creating two beautiful decks. There were a few quirky things I asked him to do, which he took care of quickly and to perfection. It was obvious that Bill is a master craftsman and perfectionist, and I would not hesitate to have him back for future projects. It was a pleasure working with Bill and his crew, and I recommend Breeze Carpentry without hesitation.

Bill did an amazing job remodeling our basement. From the quote to completion, he and his staff were professional, reliable and very responsive to any questions I had along the way. We are so happy with the finished project and we would hire him again in a second!

We hired Bill to repair a wall in our basement that was damage by water. Bill met with us and provided an estimate for his work He spent time going thru the process because other factors were involved. The process took two days . Bill and his team were one time and completed the job in the estimated time frame. The wall looks great! I would recommend Breeze carpentry and would hire them again.

Breeze Construction remodeled my 50 year old bathroom (including shower) and replaced a bathroom window. The work was completed to my total satisfaction. This is the second time I have contracted with Breeze Construction and the quality of workmanship is stellar.

Awesome as usual. Bill and his crew are fantastic. They are very punctual, professional and do excellent work. They also go the extra mile to keep my house clean by laying cloth down and always clean up after. Even our invoice was nicely detailed and professional. We plan on having them back to add chair rails and moulding!! Highly recommended.

Great work. We attempted to do the work ourselves but failed. The folks from Breeze Carpentry fixed what we had started & tiled the tub surround. Bill even made a few suggestions when I told him I had no idea what type of tile to use.

Bill and his crew installed laminate flooring in my kitchen, living room and halls. They were on time and very professional. Attention to detail was outstanding. I will definitely have them back for more work. Bill did work for me before and I wouldn't trust anyone else but him. Very honest and reliable.

Bill and his team were wonderful. He was up-front and honest about his timing / schedule from the beginning -- a rarity. He was able to fit me in exactly when I needed him, and was very punctual. The work was very high quality, and the team cleaned up after themselves very effectively; removal of all debris and trash was included in his pricing from the beginning. When I had one request for a change after the work was completed, Bill came back right away to do so. Would definitely hire again.

If you don't read any further here is what you can expect from Breeze Construction. IINTEGRITY, INCREIBLE CRAFTMANSHIP, and PROFESSIONALISM. From the very first meeting Bill, the owner of Breeze Construction was fantastic. He took the time to understand what I wanted for the project and my "must haves" and took the extra step to brainstorm with me around ideas he had to make it even more wonderful. Bill gave me a fair realistic budget proposal, a detail explanation and expectations of when he could do the work. Bill and his crew, Brad and Kenny, showed when they said they would, reset my expectations of timing when the weather would impact them and every single day when they left, they cleaned the site so well you wouldn't even know they had been there. Not only did Bill execute on what I had asked for, he added in beautiful details to make it special. Wood beams in the ceiling and detailed trim work. These additions could have easily been left out but he was vested in the project and clearly took pride in his work to make it beautiful. Bill stayed true to the schedule, the budget estimate and did incredibly beautiful work. I was not the biggest job he had by a long shot but he treated the job and me as thought it was as important as any other. Bill made my boys dream of a hiding place with bunk beds and a trap door a reality and all of us could not be happier and are very appreciative. I can not recommend Breeze Construction highly enough and look forward to working with them again in the future!

Breeze Carpentry did a beautiful job on our porch replacement project. The estimate provided was very reasonable, the final cost was only a couple hundred more, and because it was an exterior project Bill offered to do the site visit alone, which was convenient to not have to take time off work. He took care of permitting and getting the necessary architectural drawings for the replacement, which made several improvements on the previously existing structure to improve safety and stability. The project was delayed a few weeks from when it was initially scheduled, due to rain delays that pushed back their outdoor project schedule. Bill and the crew were very pleasant to work with, built great porches, and cleaned up the yard afterwards better than we would have expected. Would absolutely recommend for similar projects in the future.

Bill and his crew ALWAYS performs quality work. Although he is usually booked several weeks out, he was able to fit this small job in, due to several days of inclement weather. He works quickly and performs estimates timely. And he is flexible to fix the mistakes of other contractors.

The project was delayed in starting due to weather and some minor delays getting the material for the deck, but it was well worth the wait! The transformation of my front stairs went from drab to spectacular. Bill researched every part of the project meticulously. I was pleased with the entire project. As always we will hire Bill for future projects and recommend him to our friends.

Excellent work - we are very happy with our end product. Weather delayed the start a bit but the work was completed very fast. Bill and his team are complete professionals and incredibly responsive. I have yet to work with a contractor that responds before or by the very next day. Very easy to coordinate work - we are having some additional inside work done later this summer and Bill has been very flexible to our schedule. Highly recommend.

Bill and his apprentice did an excellent job. They provided a very clear itemized quote and understood what I wanted to have done. They kept in touch with me for scheduling due to weather delays (not their fault) and showed up when they said they would. They worked quickly and professionally, cleaning up the areas as they went along and checked with me for any questions, while showing me the progress. The work took less than a day and was done quite well. I did not want to replace my window as it was very expensive and functioning fine. Bill came up with other solutions, explained the pros and cons and worked within my budget. He event went above and beyond by re-hanging a pesky kitchen cabinet to fit above our refrigerator.

This is the third job I've brought in Breeze Carpentry for and my husband and I are thrilled with their work yet again. This time it was to install the missing trims upstairs in addition to removing and replacing the trims on the lower floor to match. Now my entire home looks great - in no small part to Breeze. Each day they showed up on time and got right to work. They were sure to ask our opinion if there were multiple ways to do a job, cleaned up at the end of each day and stored their work materials out of the way. Honestly? I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a carpenter. Their genuinely interested in doing the best job possible and their work is impecable.

We cannot be happier with the job that Breeze Carpentry provided! It was super clear how Bill and his crew focus on quality, work very properly and detail-oriented, and are very respectful of customer property. Our bathrooms look incredible, every time we use our double shower we feel like entering a luxury hotel. Pictures included are only of 1st floor, but there were 2 more bathrooms done in slightly different styles.

The work was completed in 2 and 1/2 days, with the work team, led by master carpenter, Bill. All debris was removed, and the work site was left broom clean. The team worked without the homeowner being present, as they were given a key to the home. The quality of the work was excellent, and I would use Breeze Carpentry and Construction, again, because they do mastercraftsmen work, and have high standards. They don't over promise, and will tell you the truth about time estimates and design criteria. The only negative, is that Breeze is typically booked two months in advance, because they ARE such a quality provider. But they are worth the wait!

Bill was very good about communicating with us. He was going to do our work last year but because of the winter of ice dams here in New England he wound up having to fix other people's living spaces in their homes. We understood that and if it were us we would have been glad to have been given priority for living spaces over porches too. So, he shored up our porch to help it last the year and the wait was worth it. We had admired a multi-level porch he had done near our home and Bill provided us with the name of the architect so we could have a similar design. The porches are very sturdy looking and nicely done. They cleaned up our yard very nicely at the end of the project. He and Brad were a pleasure to communicate with and were very good about answering questions that we had about the materials and process. We had received other quotes and his was quite fair for the work done. Even our dog liked both of them and she can be funny around male contractors most times! We have a couple other minor projects that he will be doing for us again soon and if we need anything in the future we wouldn't hesitate to contact him again.
