Description of Work: I asked them to remove a broken limb that was overhanging the front of the house and they suggested trimming some other branches. The tenants weren't there when they did the work but they said the work looks good and they cleaned up after themselves well.

Description of Work: Great job pruning the tree branches away from the roof of the home. They also thinned the crown of the trees to allow more light and reduce the chances of an upper branch creating a problem for a lower branch (Not requested but done as part of their professional service of what is best for the home and the tress.). Great Job!

Description of Work: Cut down two large (50') trees in our back yard. one was 1'-0" away from house, the other 5'-0" away from house. They were finished in under 2 hours. Minimal damage to the yard even though I let them drive truck over the yard (they laid down plywood for the truck to drive on). Plan on having them do more work in the near future.

Description of Work: I asked to have 2 overgrown old shrubs in the front of the house taken down and the stumps ground. I forgot they were coming and went to work as usual. The only way I could tell they were there was that the shrubs were gone. The cleanup was above and beyond. I asked the neighbors and they said the job was done quickly and the young men worked very hard. This company is the BEST. Any future work will definitely be done by STUMPY'S!!

Description of Work: Stumpy's gave me an estimate to remove numerous large tree branches hanging over my house and in my yard (from neighbor's trees). Estimate was less than others I had received. Stumpy's had been reffered to me by a friend, and had favorable reviews here on Angie's List, so I was confident in hiring them. The crew came at the schdeudled time. They performed all the work as described in my estimate - even cutting trees into firewood for me. Plus, they trimmed a few additional trees I requested at the last minute for a nominal extra charge. They cleaned up the yard and were done in 90 minutes. They offer a discount for Angie's List Member. Very satisfied with the work done.

Description of Work: Stumpy's team came on time and worked well together as a team. Working on difficult terrain with heavy equipment they laid down plywood to protect the grass. They took down one very tall tree and trimmed large branches off several others. Several dead logs were removed and hauled away with the dead tree and branches. Climbers then went to another area of the property, removed lower branches from 2 huge oaks and removed several saplings. This is the 2nd time we have used Stumpy's and we would recommend them to others.

Description of Work: I needed an estimate and they came out when they said they would. Chris who gave the estimate was very nice. The only thing was their price came in $1,600.00 to have (8) trees remove and I went with another company that would do it for $1,400.00
