Description of Work: I had a short list of jobs that I needed completed. Moving furniture, changing a battery in a carbon monoxide/smoke detector. The tech that arrived was on time, friendly, and very polite. He completed the work I needed done and was extremely pleasant the entire time. I will definitely call Mr. Handyman again.

I called A A Mr. Handyman and was shocked to learn that they charged $140 for the first hour and $90 an hour after that for handyman services. I thought their prices were ridiculous. I was however going to use them anyhow for the gutter repair, as it was a pressing problem. They were to call me back the next day to set up an appointment with me and never did. I don't think the whole thing was handled very professionally and I will not be calling them again.
Description of Work: I called them because there was a problem with my gutter and I also wanted my deck painted.

Many have found that our professional technicians (25+ year avg) are usually more efficient and often times cost less in the end than someone charging less per hour. Also, many 'fixed price' companies leave people scratching their head when the work is done and they've figured out what they actually did charge 'per hour'. Combined with the fact that every one of my technicians is background checked, bonded and fully insured, some find us to be a very good value.. I'm sorry for your dissatisfaction.
