Mr. Handyman of Central MetroWest

I have used Mr. Handyman three times so far and will definitely use them again. It's been a joy to have a qualified person in my home who can take care of all the things on my TBD list, be they large or small, in a positive and professional manner. I think I had 9 things on my list the first time they came out, and everything was taken care of that same day. They are competent, focused, and there to help. Prompt, dedicated, great communication, and all the tools and supplies to get the job done. I felt their prices were reasonable, especially as the work was completely done when they left - no punch list, no coming back another day to finish. Cleaned up really well, too. I'm 100% satisfied.

Greg helped me with installing a tv on an arm, mirrors, pics and hall tree ..

So glad we reached out to Mr. Handyman. We had a few rotting window frames and cringey weeds growing out of our gutters. Kip came to the rescue on an extremely hot day and worked from 10 am - 5 pm. He was soaked by the time he was finished. Kip did great work and we are so grateful to have these things taken care of!

This company is great! My very old master bedroom air conditioner failed in the night before a day when Temps were ro be 96 degrees or higher. I called in the am. They were fully booked but promised to watch for jobs that finished early and they did send someone at 2:30 PM. Derek did a fantastic job under very hot Temps . Fit the replacement in and put some caulking in to fill tiny gaps. He even swapped the top rail from the old ac with the newer one as the new ac top rail was not wide enough for the wall opening. He cut a small bit off of the existing stained wood frame to make it fit just right. Derek was meticulously clean. I had a follow up question after Derek left and Steve was thorough and courteous returning my call immediately. I have had this company fix a kitchen cabinet and they were great then as well. I have had two very good experiences and cannot thank them enough for caring enough to get right out to get our ac running so we could sleep in our master bedroom.

Dan was an excellent handyman. Did everything in a timely manner and done correctly.

They are able to do whatever I need help with and understand the job. They are always careful with my stuff and they don't leave me with a mess to clean up, they're not bumping into things and breaking stuff, as my place is fairly cluttered. They take the time to listen to what needs to be done, communicate well and explain and show what they did when they're done. And make sure it's exactly what I needed to have done. Techs are always nice, friendly and helpful. Katie is always wonderful to deal with and very understanding about my needs due to my health issues. It is always easy to schedule and I appreciate they let me know when they are heading over here and then again when they're literally about to arrive or parking. I feel safe and comfortable with them in my house. I can't recommend them enough. I have a lot of chronic conditions and it's often hard to find people who are able to understand my needs and work around me. They're always courteous and respectful and very kind.

He took the time to explain the additional issue of rot which was uncovered during the install. My entire experience working with Mr Handyman was a positive one. I would definitely recommend them for any of your household projects.

Arrived on time and reviewed the projects requested. Worked through the items agreed and showed an interest in getting the job done correctly including suggesting a few minor additional fixes that supported his work and provided an even better outcome. Excellent work and left the work areas clean and functional.

Michael and his team are great. Our serviceman was able to knock out a bunch of projects and the workmanship was top notch.

DO NOT HIRE. They will lie and lie about making things right, but I have video of the owner (also, don't believe it when they say he's not in the office BTW - they're lying, I went there and he screamed in my face.) stating he is keeping my money and not fixing the work. I had to file a charge back on my credit card. I hired Mr. Handyman to install an awning (it's a DIY, but I don't). I went to open the awning earlier this week and it practically fell off my house. The girl in the office honestly, is just is not very good at her job. She put me for a second appointment, several days later (no sense of urgency) which apparently means, you waste your whole day waiting for the tech, and he'll maybe show up if he has time after his first appointment. When he did show up (with barely 30 minutes notice, not the promised 1 hr), he was completely unprepared to complete the work, and they said I'd need to wait until the next day (if you're counting that's 3 missed days of work). They came back the next day and even though they are the only people who have ever touched this awning (they took it out of the box to install it the first time) they are taking no responsibility for the fact that it is now damaged. Seriously, walk, don't run. So, it seems I paid $1000 for them to mount this awning that is now half off my house. And now I am expected to allow them to just keep trying until they get it right (a DIY awning, that MR. HANDYMAN needs 3+ tries to install correctly). There is absolutely no sense of responsibility / caring that their work was so substandard. I had probably $20k (maybe $30k the way they bill!) of work to do on my home this year and I am taking it all elsewhere. I recommend you do, as well! I also think it's funny how I requested a call back from the owner, and he couldn't be bothered, but he responded to my review in about 5 minutes. The priorities are clear.

Kip is a hard worker he went above and beyond to ensure that my bathroom remodeling came out fantastic he was extremely professional in explaining the best way for the job to be done and was punctual at arriving on time each day to get the job done even staying after hrs in bad weather to ensure he would finish the job on the agreed time he even came back twice to fix an issue with the sink after the job was done. I would highly recommend kip to friends and family because as I said he is truly a professional and cares deeply about the clients he serves.

Scheduling my project was easy, and the staff communicated with me frequently. The on-site technician arrived on time and explained his findings as he progressed through the project. He left the workspace clean and neat. Excellent service all around - I will hire Mr. Handyman again.

Kip was professional, customer service orientated. He explained what he was doing to fix the problem as he proceeded. Left us satisfied with the result.

Nestor showed up right on time and gave expert advice on how to remedy some of the issues our new house has, he also (expertly) identified an issue with our gutters that we had not noticed (as they're incredibly high up) and thoroughly cleaned them (they were filled with leaves). He also installed gutter guards. He stayed until the job was done even though he was working until the late evening.

It went excellent. Nestor was my professional. He was very personable and professional. I would ask for him again if I had service done with them. The office was responsive and provided me with references to professional service people when they were unable to provide a service themselves. I have lots of jobs for my old house and I will be calling again.

Chris Leonard from Mr. Handyman group was assigned to my house. He came prompt time at 8AM. He was very professional, answered my all my questions and gave additional suggestions on my project. He knew what he has do. After the work, area was cleaned very well. I am very impressed with the work. I highly recommend Mr.Handyman group . Thank you.

Worst service I have ever had in my life. Actually lied to me. TWICE. Save yourself the headache. Not only did they not do all the work I asked they took 3 extra hours to not do it in and then tried to blame me because the guy screwed up and had to get new part. Beyond me how they have any positive reviews. If you know me personally, you would know it takes a LOT to bother me. I have overpaid for jobs and didn’t care a bit as long as it was done correctly. Don’t lie to me. That’s ridiculous. Don’t tell me we are on recorded line. You weren’t there when the technician gave me the information. I however do have cameras which he didn’t seem interested in listening back to….wonder why. It’s stressful enough selling a house but when people are unprofessional and blame you for their mistakes it makes it extremely difficult to not get upset. I’m buying a house and guess who I will not be calling to do any work for me…

Exceptional, from start to finish. They took the time to plan, communicate, and explain the whole process. The home office kept me in the loop constantly and the Technicians understood my vision and executed amazing results. We build the salon during covid, they we careful. compliant and respectful of all involved. They exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend!

The project got off initially to a bad start when the handyman did not show up at the scheduled time and date. But after a phone call, the work was re-scheduled. This time he came exactly on time. The professional handyman was very polite and courteous. He clearly understood all my requests and carried them out very well and efficiently. There is a service fee of $54 and an hourly fee of $134 with a one hour minimum. But these charges, especially the service fee is not exorbitant, given that some companies charge much more. All in all, I was very pleased and will definitely use Mr. Handyman again.

This company is amazing and they do all types of work. The guy's that work for Mr. Handyman are so knowledgeable and so amazing at what they do. I have hired them to do small jobs like re-attaching my fireplace molding to rebuilding my Deck and completely rebuilding a room and making it my office. I would recommend them for all type of jobs no matter what. I am so pleased with everything about Mr. Handyman.

I received an automated email, and no follow-up. I called directly on 2 different days and left voicemails. I called a third time and spoke to someone who told me they didn't want to do it.
