They work very well. They do a very good job! They have a very reasonable price and I am satisfied with the quality of service.

Other than not initially getting the size of my lot right everthing has gone good so far. After a phone call the lot size issue was solved. My lot was several thousand squre feet larger than they had estimated based on an internet satelite photo and the honored the the original per treatment price. I think they will renegotiate for next season. My lawn was full of weeds and clover and they have cleared all of that up. They completed the airation and seeding this past week. Overall I am happy with their service and will continue to use the for at least the next season.

After spending over $200 so far this year, both my lawns look like c***. They just send a truck over with weed control, fertilizer, etc., guys hop out, throw the stuff down and leave within 4 minutes and WHAM! You have a $50 bill. No one looks at the grass, mine started to deteriorate rapidly and has huge bald spots, and they just toss the scheduled applications over all the problem areas and leave. I think what is happening is we may have grubs, I had to read online about the symptoms and appearance of the grass. This hasn't happened to us before, and I would expect a lawn service rep to take a look at that when they come here. Everyone has a busy schedule, which is WHY we HIRE a LAWN SERVICE to be on top of these issues for us when we are working 50 - 60 hour weeks. I tried to contact my rep, was on hold for over 10 minutes, left a voicemail, and no call back after a week. It took me close to 20 minutes today to reach someone to terminate services.

Problem still exists and Scott's service is poor!

I used Scotts Lawn Service in 2006 when I took a one-year service agreement paid in a lump sum. I moved to a new house in January 2007 but Scotts came back to fertilize our previous home in March and then send us the bill for it (it was forwarded to us by the Post office). Scotts claims that they keep giving the services as long as you do not cancel; I never authorized this for my account and it does not remove Scotts s responsibility to check that the services are indeed needed by their customer. For comparison, should we expect the electric or gas utility company to charge the same customer even after he/she has moved out? Not quite, the account is transferred to the new owner. To this date, Scotts Lawn Service management(Mr. McGuire or other)has not responded to my request to cancel this charge. I want to make the future customers aware of Scotts's practice of billing you no matter if you are dead or alive!

WE WERE OFF TO A ROUGH START. FIRST THE SERVICE REP CALLED TOO MANY TIMES AND DIDN'T NOTE THAT I TOLD HIM I WAS THE CONTACT, NOT MY HUSBAND. THEN I MAIL IN THE AGREEMENT WEEKS LATER, I GET A BILL, BUT NO SCHEDULED SERVICE, I PAID THE DISCOUNTED RATE, AND I FINALLY CALLED AN ADDITIONAL 2 WEEKS LATER. I WAS PRETTY DISGUSTED AT HOW DIFFICULT IT WAS TO GET BACK. THE PHONE ON THE FORMS IS SCOTT'S 800 NUMBER, WHICH CONNECTS YOU TO THEIR MAIN OFFICE IN MARYSVILLE, OH. ONE POINT THE WOMAN MADE IT OUT LIKE I WAS CALLING THE WRONG LOCATION, AND I TOLD HER IT WAS THE NUMBER PROVIDED. AT ONE POINT, I FINALLY CALLED TO CANCEL, BUT THE PERSON ANSWERING WAS SO SWEET AND HELPFUL I STAYED. THERE ARE STILL WEEDS IN MY LAWN, I SPOKE TO A REP WHO SAID HE WOULD SEND SOMEONE OUT TOO RETREAT. THINGS ARE GONG FINE AND I SIGNED UP FOR OTHER MAINTENANCE. I DIDN'T COMPARISON SHOP, MAINLY SCOTT'S IS A NAME I TRUST, AS I GREW UP IN OHIO, AND THEY HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE I WAS A KID. DIDN'T LIKE THEY SENT
