Description of Work: Angela owns and operates Take a Break Cleaning. She cleaned my rental house for me between tenants and did a spectacular job. It took her and one employee nearly 7 hours, and the house was cleaner than it has ever been! Thanks for providing such a wonderful service. Between my busy schedule and other things to do, it was a wonderful break for me!

Description of Work: Angela along with a supervisor came to see my house for giving an estimate but never sent an estimate. |Do not go by highest number of ratings in this list.

Description of Work: Angela came and deep cleaned the first time. The way she cleans is how my mom taught me to clean, but I have no time to do. It was 10+ excellent. After that, her employees come to clean. They do a great job, but there is a definite difference between them and Angela. Don't get me wrong, they are excellent. But Angela is beyond excellent. They have been coming bi-weekly for a few months now and I'm very happy with their service.

Description of Work: The initial walk thru, prior to the service, was filled with can-do spirit. A team was going to show up, everything would be cleaned, I would be extremely pleased with the results. Angie agreed to a slightly lower price and believe me, my house was furry and dusty and I no longer am interested in cleaning so the $400 was not completely unreasonable. | |Come the morning of the scheduled cleaning, which was set up the previous week, only Angie showed up and she explained that her other workers were sick. She said her sister-in-law and niece were going to show up to give her a hand. They arrived about an hour to an hour and a half later and the young girl (about 14 to 16) needed direction. I am just saying that this was not the well oiled machine I was expecting. | |The original estimate was for 4 to 6 hours. Angie walked in at 9:00 and they all walked out between 1:00 and 1:30. My chief complaint is that one of the largest rooms was not done - I had originally asked Angie to start in my office so that when done, I could put the dogs up there and out of her way, but subsequently realized that would not work. When I told her of my change of plans, she inferred that I didn't want the room cleaned at all and when I saw the cleaning equipment carried out of the house I had to run after them and get them upstairs where I asked for windexing and vacuuming since they said they were on their way to the next house. There was no offered price adjustment for the reduced work and I didn't ask for it. | |My overall impression is that the cleaning is probably better and more thorough when not in holiday crunch time. After they left I did notice some surfaces that were missed - bureau top, lamps, and the wood floors didn't look fabulous, but considering the starting point of the house, a better than decent job. Angie is a fun, energetic person and I think it was a case of being stretched with too many jobs at a busy time of year.

Description of Work: They THOROUGH cleaned my house , top to bottom. I am astounded at the wonderful job they did (2 people); everything came out shiny and beautiful. I will use them weekly from now on for regular housecleaning. I recommend them highly.

Description of Work: Angela came to an older condo I had just begun renting that was left empty, but not in the cleanest condition... to say the least. She came with all of her tools and cleaning supplies. She got right to work with great purpose and dedication. She worked so hard. I was so impressed. She came at a time that was convenient to me and stayed into the evening. When it started to get later, I told her she could leave and that everything looked great. She wouldn't leave until everything met her excellent cleaning standards. I had special issues with bathroom odors and she worked her very best to resolve the issues. She showed me different cleaning techniques she learned over the years. She listened to what I wanted and went to it! She stayed with me for three hours and didn't stop working for one minute on a warm evening. She washed all the windows and cleaned the window sills and track mechanisms, hand-cleaned the oven and stove fan area, washed closet doors, completely cleaned the bathroom, washed down walls near the toilet, vacummed, completely cleaned the kitchen counters, and mopped. She also scrubbed a lot of build-up off the tub. The place was a challenge and Angela rose to it! She is an excellent worker and I would very highly recommend her. She is also a very nice person and a joy to have in your home. She is a pleasant hard-working woman. I cannot say enough about her. Hire her - you will not be disappointed.

Description of Work: Nothing. I contacted Angela for weekly cleaning. I gave details and expections. After she obtained my name, address and phone number, she informed me she would call me the next day. She did not have the basic courtesy to call me and either accept or decline the job.

Description of Work: Angela came to my house and when she saw the terrible condition the renters left it in after they left, she went above and beyond what was expected. The price had to change from $200 to $300 due to the mess and the very long hours she was there, and her husband had to come with his truck to take away to the dump all they had left. I did not know the house had beenleft in this condition as I do not live in the area at this time. The basement was wet and moldy. All of this was taken care of. The house is clean, sparkling, everything is gone and my house is now ready to be placed on the market for sale! Thank you Angela for all the hours of work you put in and to your husband for helping out to clear the mess that was left!
