AMAZING!!! The deep clean was a life changing experience. Everyone should have one! And once we had the deep clean we knew we still needed help keeping things sparkling! Angela is a great communicator and clearly takes pride in her work. The deep clean was not cheap but our house was in rough shape and we have 3 floors!! It was worth every penny. The biweekly is very reasonably priced.

They were quick, efficient, courteous and very professional. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I was super impressed with Angela. We were on a tight time frame (2 days) to get someone in to clean the house for my sister who had a bone marrow transplant and was coming hom from the hospital. Angela was very responsive and fit us into her schedule. She was professional and a cleaning wonder. We would totally recommend her to anyone!

Angela is phenomenal. Provided a full spring cleaning of our 2400 sq foot home. When I returned home from work my house was literally sparkling! I have used other house cleaning services in the past but none have come close to Angela's work. She was responsive, punctual, friendly and most importantly did an amazing job. One service cost $300 and another was $500. There was a little bit of a lag time and it was concerning when the contact was made. She came, inspected the place first, and then gave a quote; she counted in detail what was to be done. She was very quick in doing things and it was direct evaluation of scope. There was prompt execution on short notice.

We recently moved into our new house and wanted to get the place clean prior to moving in. Angela and her team did an excellent job with most of the house. They cleaned top to bottom, all the windows, and reached most surfaces. When I did an inspection after they had left, There were a couple of areas in the master bath and stovetop grills that still needed more work. I mentioned them to Angela, and she immediately responded and sent her team back later that week to complete those areas. Overall I felt Angela and her team paid good attention to details and I would hire them again for more regular cleaning in the future.

Have used this provider three times. Overall "deep cleaning" was excellent - best I ever had Last two cleanings were good as well, but some mildew left in shower on last visit. Very professional - will continue to use

After several bouts of illness and multiple obligations, we decided to hire someone to do Spring Cleaning this year. We normally do our own cleaning, so we are particular about what needs to be done and how. Angela was very professional and responsive. She did a walk-through of the house in order to provide the quote and to determine specifically what we wanted done in each room. We were thrilled that she would be tackling our skylights and ceiling fans, as well as our many large windows. We also have wood floors that we regularly clean and polish and were pleased that she would be using the same cleaning/polishing products. Angela and her two helpers arrived promptly as planned and worked hard the entire time. She obviously takes great pride in the work she does and checked in with us multiple times to make sure things were going well. I did point out a few things during the cleaning that needed improvement, such as cobwebs in a skylight and better polishing of the refrigerator door, and Angela immediately remedied each item cheerfully. We had one complaint after the work was done, but we contacted Angela to see if she would provide a remedy and she did! We have multiple large windows that are difficult to clean - we normally spend many hours with a squeegee and cleaning tools to get the windows to shine without streaks. After the cleaners left and we inspected the windows, we found many smudges and streaks on the windows that are in our main living areas and that overlook our views of the valley. I recalled where Angela had been cleaning and where her helpers had worked and realized that the windows that were not streak-free were done by one of her crew (Angela's windows were perfect). I wanted Angela to know that we appreciated the great work her crew had done elsewhere, but we had paid $500 for the cleaning and much of the cost was for the window cleaning, so we hoped she could make things right. I sent her photos so she would see the problems and she called to apologize and to schedule another window cleaning session. She asked us to make sure things were done properly and wanted a report immediately after the work was done. When the two cleaners came, we gave them the squeegees we normally use to clean and they did a fabulous job! Because we are regular users of Angie's List, we want to be thorough in our review for the benefit of other list users, so we have included this information about the window cleaning in the interest of full disclosure. However, we are completely satisfied with the results. Angela wanted to ensure our satisfaction, and she did. We would definitely use Take-A-Break Cleaning again!

Angie and her team arrived on time. I wasn't home but my husband reports that Angie was very professional and gave her team a lot of guidance. When I got home the first thing I noticed was how amazingly clean my mud-room/porch was - the wood work, walls, floors and cabinets were even cleaner than when I did the job. She put my dogs out in their run so that she could clean around their crates in my office - it's important to me to have someone who is kind to and can handle dogs. Angie left an appointment card with our next date and a request for some feedback. I let her know a couple of things and they were items she said she hadn't gotten to but would do on the next visit. It was great to hear that my impressions were spot on and that she took the feedback in the right spirit. I've had housekeepers before, but always someone doing it "on the side" and they always left something to be desired and didn't stick. I'm so happy to be working with a true professional!

Angela cleaned one of our empty apartments, and she did a super job! She broke down two prices for me, one for general cleaning and the second price adding in the gas range and a full cleaning on all the windows. We went with the whole package.

They were energizer bunnies and took no breaks until the job was done. They had properly estimated the time needed and were cheerful and professional in all aspects of the job.

Within ten minutes of their arrival, these consummate professionals had pulled out my stove and begun cleaning the floor and walls around it. This was certainly a good omen! The crew of three spent 4.5 hours here, for $300. If that sounds like a lot of money, rest assured that it was worth every cent. We returned to gleaming floors, shiny clean windows, and bathrooms that looked brand new. Our antique furniture looked so lovely - every table was cleaned and polished to perfection. The hardwood floors looked amazing! And the kitchen - wow! When is the last time your housecleaner cleaned and polished the shelves where china and dishes are stored, carefully replacing each piece? Or organized all that stuff you've thrown on top of the refrigerator? Angela called to let us know they were finished, and when we got home, we ran from room to room, admiring their work - everything was so perfect. My husband was amazed! And you will be too. This is old style spring cleaning at its best.

We wanted to get our house professionally cleaned before we put it out on the market. Angela and her team did a very thorough job. They were very courteous and very cognizant about our needs and schedule. They came in and wrapped up their job in the expected amount of time.

Angela and the team did an AMAZING job on our large house. In fact, it was BY FAR the best professional cleaning service we've ever had. The team has a clear and concise process of moving through efficiently and independently. They pay attention to cleanliness, disinfection and ongoing upkeep. They are timely, professional, detail oriented and incredibly pleasant. Angela's mind is a steel trap - she remembered everything I'd requested from 2 weeks prior when they came over to provide the estimate. Excellent. Prompt, professional. Flexible and understands the needs of a Homeowner.

I assume it well. My parents live in another state. I had set up a meeting with Angela Redfern 8/31/13 when I visited with them. All her paperwork was in order. She was very personable and was very particular about doing a thorough cleaning. She came to my parents' home the following Thursday with a helper. It took the two women about two hours to clean the house including the bathroom. They are schedule to come every every week to clean. My sister said the house smelled great when she arrived later that day.
