It went perfectly. I called and reached him on the first try. He offered to come in about two hours and gave me a specific time and then called to see if I were available when he was able to come earlier.

I chose to use PERSONALIZED PLUMBING AND HEATING based on the consistent positive reviews I read on Angie's List. I was not disappointed. Peter Theriault did a great job. He responded to my call promptly for an appt, on the day of appt he showed up on time. Took about 15-20 minutes to explain what we wanted done and for Peter to assess the work needed to be done before starting. After removing the kitchen faucet and ready to install the new one, he discovered a piece missing and at that point we were not sure what to do. We put our heads together and thought we could try to use a piece from the broken faucet and that seemed to work. He also changed out the water supply lines. Peter suggested I contact the company from whom we purchased the broken faucet to see if they would replace as it is a fairly new faucet and should not have broke. I thought that was good suggestion. Peter then worked on installing the bathroom faucet. This turned out to be more complicated than expected. My husband volunteered to run out to buy the right supply lines as Peter did not have them. Peter extended the supply lines to reach the shut offs and had to run a new drain from existing drain stub out.. He was concerned the nuts from original drain stub out were not tight enough and could cause leaking. He was able to tighten the nuts but could not guarantee they would not leak in the long run. At least he was honest. He didn't waste time on chit chat, was truly professional and cleaned up after himself. He didn't provide me with a receipt after his work however promptly emailed me an invoice with the breakdown and amount that night.

The owner arrived promptly and inspected the water heater. He said it was relatively new and that I did not need to replace it. I thanked him for his time and told him I'd call him if I need any plumbing done.

Peter did a great job. Actually I have worked with him 3 times already. Two of them are kind of emergency small jobs. Leaking pipes. This time he helped me replace basement water pipes. While other people trying to give me paper cutter solution Peter is professional, take time to explain things and look at my situation. Peter came once to quote a price. The quote was emailed to me and clearly typed and formatted. We scheduled a time and I notified everything in the building about the water shutoff. He performed the work on time finished on time. I am very happy with the result. I am hiring him for the plumbing work for remodeling my bathroom. I will leave another review then.

He is a topnotch plumber. He makes sure everything is clean. He cleans up after himself. He is very informative about what he is going to do and how he is going to do. It was a very difficult project with the water leaking in a very small pipe way. He was able to do the work quickly and very efficiently. When he was finished it was as if nothing had happened. He was very affordable and what he said was what he charged. The quality of his work was very high. He was very timely and he showed up when he said he would. He did the job in the allotted time. He was very professional.

Peter is fantastic. We asked him for an estimate over 1 month prior to the work. He thoroughly inspected the existing pipework and determined what needed to be done and pointed out safety issues. He remained faithful to his estimate. He always responded right away to phone calls and emails. He showed up on time, and worked quickly. He even put in extra access in the connecting pipe. I couldn't be happier with my new set-up! He showed us how to bleed our radiators, even though it was not part of his estimate. He was pleasant to work with and well-informed. I'll call him first thing the next time I need any plumbing done.

I told him I thought the quote was too high so he told me how to fix it myself and followed up with me a week later to see if I had any luck.

Everything went well. he did it perfectly and picked up after himself. The coupon offered on his site helped a lot.

Peter responded quickly to my call and set up an appointment for later that week. He connected a gas dryer and the other plumbing repairs I mentioned. It was necessary for him to come back to finish the work and he was flexible with my schedule. He arrived within the time period indicated both times and I was happy with the work completed. Would definitely hire him again if needed.

They were awesome. The owner was very responsive. When he came out I thought that he was expensive and would charge me a large amount and he just opened the shower and found that there was not much work and he charged me only for that and I appreciate his honesty. I would rate them high overall. I would definitely use them again in the future if needed.

Peter and the work he did was excellent. He was punctual for the first meeting, actually cleaned up after a very messy job with sheet rock dust etc., and was well within my budget. Excellent customer service skills and follow up. He even sent me pictures of the new pipes under the sheet rock in case I needed it for future reference. Definitely over and above any expectations I had.

We couldn't be more pleased with the work that Peter did. We have a finished basement and our kitchen was just redone so we were initially concerned about how to run the lines without affecting any aesthetics in or outside the house. Peter is *extremely* efficient and has a huge attention to detail. He was punctual for all visits and very pleasant to deal with; even after I screwed up on a small detail. Due to my own oversight I did not have the cooktop delivered on site the day that he did his work. This forced a second visit and on that visit it was found that the cooktop did not fit into the cutout. Peter came a third time to do the install and though I offered money for the additional trouble, he didn't ask for it. I've worked with many professional tradesman and I have never had the level of professionalism, courtesy and execution that we experienced. Peter ran the new line to the kitchen without any cosmetic issues to our kitchen or the garage underneath. He spent extra time to route the line so it would not interfere with a pull out drawer beneath the cooktop. Similarly, the line to the outside ran cleanly through our finished basement and routed outside so it was hidden beneath our trim work. We are very pleaseed with the results and would recommend Peter for any project large or small. We plan on renovating our master bath and will definitely ask for him to lead that effort. I'll let everyone know how it goes but based on this experience I am sure we will be pleased.

I chose Peter from the list on Angie's List because he was local to where I lived. We had a jammed sink faucet. We live in a large apartment building and all the faucets were installed at the same time by a company in California that is now out of business. I told him over the phone what the issue was and he responded first with a couple of tips that i could try myself to get the issue resolved. I had already tried what he suggested and quickly realized that if i went any farther I would be creating a much bigger issue for myself. He came and checked it out and found I neede to buy a part that was basically no longer available. We didn't like our faucet very much to begin with so I opted to buy a new one. Peter was very informative of what to look for in a new faucet, i.e. the least amount of plastic parts the better. I bought a new faucet and he came back and installed it. The whole job took approximately two hours. He was very clean, used a drop cloth on the floor for his tools and made sure everything was ship shape. He was very responsive to meetings and returned messages promptly. It was a very small job for any plumber to do, but he did it with the utmost professionalism, I will definitely use him again and highly recommend him to others.

I have several plumbers on call, but none of them really wanted to do these pain in the a** jobs, and I had responses of "It's not worth it, just leave it like it is", and "Wait until something bigger comes up and then we'll do them all together", and "It's not really fixable". SO, in frustration, I turned to Angies List, and I was VERY HAPPY to end up with Personalized Plumbing and Heating. "Peter" was very polite and professional. He put a drop cloth down for his tools......I haven't seen THAT in a while! And, he made sure that each job was done RIGHT, and he saw each job through to the finish......no "I'll have to come back tomorrow to finish this". I highly recommend this company.

The quality of work was excellent. Peter was easy to work with ,on time and he left our home clean when he was done. Also, he kept to our budget.

Peter did a couple of jobs for us. First, he did the plumbing work for a new 1/2 bath that we added - not only installing the toilet and sink, but also running new pipes down through the basement to the drain. He also redid the plumbing for our shower and tub in another bathroom. Previously, it only worked as a shower, and Peter pulled the whole unit apart and reinstalled a new one from shower head to drain. What really impressed me about Peter was not only his professionalism - always on time, returned calls in a timely manner, left the place cleaner than when he got here - and his fair price, but he also looked for the least expensive way of doing things prior to beginning work. He came with a couple of ideas that generating significant savings for us. I also had to call Peter about an issue I had with my kitchen garbage disposal. Before coming out to look at it as I had asked, he told me about a quick fix over the phone that ended up doing the trick and saving me hundreds of dollars. I can't say enough good things about Peter (and I like that it's him who actually does the work, not someone he subcontracts to that I hadn't met). I would certainly use his services again if I need them.

I have been using Peter for years now. He has replaced under sink plumbing that used to explode when the garbage disposal was run, replaced our shower handle which required re plumbing the pipes behind it, fixed a poorly draining sink and replaced our main drain line after it was broken by a snaking company. This time Peter was asked to just get our kitchen set up for some new appliances. He showed up promptly on time and ready to work. As he began working he noticed that our water line shut off valve after the meter wasn't closing all the way. After discussing that we could use the one before the meter, but that wasn't a good habit to get into since that controls all the water coming from the road, we decided to replace the after meter value. He then went on to reroute the water line to our new dishwasher, rerouted the drain line as it wasn't run in the best way possible, hooked it up and tested it out. Then he ran the new line to the refrigerator, drilled through the tile (he even caulked the hole which I wasn't expecting, but was a great idea), and left a coil of pipe for me. The refrigerator wasn't delivered this day like it should have been. Peter asked if he should come back when the fridge was delivered. I felt I could hook it up from this point and he insisted I call him if I had any questions or concerns when I was doing so. He even left me the parts that I would need when it was delivered that were not part of the fridge installation package. Peter is a great plumber to know. He's easy to talk to and has a great work ethic. Even my dog loves him. And even with the addition of the new valve for the main line, I feel that his pricing was more than fair and I sleep well knowing that if I ever have a problem I can call on him.

We are completely satisfied. The work went as Peter Theriault told us it would in his proposal. He arrived at the preset time. He had all materials. I could tell that he knew what he was doing by the way the job progressed. He was very careful with the outside installation and returned the area to what it had been before the Blackflow Preventor was installed. He worked both inside and outside our home. He did not bring any dirt, debris, etc. from the outside inside. He was very efficient in his use of time. He has an excellent work ethic. He cleaned up thoroughly and removed all materials. When I had the Backflow Preventor inspected, which involved both the inside and the outside work, the town inspector remarked that the work had been very well done. I will definitely use Peter Theriault again, and I will recommend him highly.
