+ -1 moreWe had a bat in our bedroom and called Braman to come check out our house to see where the bat might have come in. From the moment I called, the woman on the phone was very pleasant. She sent someone over the very next day and told me approximately when he would be there. They called me 30 minutes before showing up, which was very appreciated. The man who came was named Bill and was very helpful. He was able to diagnose the problem and knew right where the bat had come in. He answered all our questions and was very thorough in his inspection. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again in the future.

Bill was sent to our house and did a wonderful job inspecting, answering my questions and giving me some helpful tips on pest prevention. The peace of mind after having him come was well worth the $100 price to come out and do a complete inspection. The company, from the first phone call, was very pleasant to work with and helpful. I would recommend them again, but hopefully I won't need to USE them again, especially for a BAT!

The person answering the phone at Braman did give me incorrect information regarding preparation I needed to do and that turned out to be very inconvenient but that is my only complaint. I would recommend them and I will use them again if needed. Just doublecheck with a technician (not the guy who answers the phone) about what you have to do to prepare. Ed was our technician, I'd ask for him! I would recommend.
Description of Work: I contacted Braman because we have been seeing carpenter ants inside our family room (yuck). They were polite and helpful when booking the appointment and explaining their process. They told me what I needed to do to prepare and what the technician would do when he came to do the job. Really nice technician (Ed). He arrived exactly on time, explained everything to me, and offered some advice. I was nervous about leaving a worker alone in my house for close to 2 hours but when I met him, the nerves went away. He was professional and very nice. My big complaint is really in the 'responsiveness' category because I wasn't sure what category it went in. The person who booked the appointment for me explained everything that I needed to do to prepare but what he told me was not at all accurate. He had me clean out/empty EVERY cabinet from the counter down in my kitchen and family room (also bathrooms). It took FIVE days!! Come to find out, I only needed to do under the sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms, and the main cabinet where we had the ant issue. But - it forced me to clean the cabinets out - I'm just considering it "spring cleaning"! He just came yesterday and they have a 6 month guarantee - I would use them again.

+ -1 moreI'm on a regular annual maintenance and they come several times a year. I'm satisfied with their services. I have nothing to compare their price to as I've never used a different pest service. It's not cheap and I know that I do better to have an annual service. They stand by their work and they'll come back as many times as necessary. They are very responsive to me. They are always on time. They've been in business for many years and they have a lot of commercial as well as residential customers and they are very professional.

Description of Work: The company sent a technician to our home. We walked through all of the areas where I suspected or had seen eveidence of rodent activity. After that, he spent the next few hours plugging any openings to the outside that he could find; placing traps along pathways or in nesting areas; dusting some pathways with a pesticide. The work was done quickly & professionally for a fixed price.

Description of Work: Carpenter Ant Service. Treated whole house. They were very repsonsive and accomodating to my schedule and stand behind their service. Six month warranty included. + -1 moreI had a problem of mice and ants at my house. I looked on Angies list and I found BramanCo that had excellente reports. I called them on May 29, 2011. May 31, 2011 an specialist came to my house a look around and found the problem. He offer me a multipest plan and the price was great. On june 6, 2011 I had the service the Tech named Wayned did a great job, he found the ants nest and also where the mice were having acces to my house. He take the time to look around and do an excellent work. He told me it will takes a few days before see any changes. I saw it the next day!!!! no more ants :)!!! . I choose a multipest plan ( this included 3 more visits for spring, summer and fall) the initial service fee was $400.00 the next tratment will be $210. I will recommend this Co.
Description of Work: They did the initial inspection , found the problem and they did treatment inside & outside the house. We had to leave the house for a few hours and then come back.

+ -1 moreWhen I called, I mentioned the wasp nest first, and the woman quoted me $85. Then, I mentioned the ground-living wasps and was told the charge would be up to Dennis, but would not exceed $195, which would cover everything I needed taken care of, and included a 6-month warranty. This was great, because I had already been quoted $295 by another company, who said their earliest appointment would be in two days. I asked how long it would be before he could come, and she said she'd contact Dennis in the field and call me back ASAP. She called back in less than 10 minutes (!) and said he'd be here in about an hour(!!). He showed up in exactly one hour, removed the wasp nest, treated the other wasps, and removed another small old dead nest I had found right after I made the phone call, and charged me $85(!!!!). He did say he'd charge me something extra if the ground-wasp treatment didn't take and he had to come back- I would certainly hope so! This was bordering on too-good-to-be-true, but it was, and as soon as he cashes it, I'll have the canceled check to prove it. By the way, Angie's has his address wrong- he moved 5 years ago to 116 Washington Street, Plainville, MA 02762, but kept his Walpole phone number.
Description of Work: I called them to remove a very active wasp nest I discovered under my deck, and also to get rid of another problem with ground-living wasps that seemed to have taken up residence under the paving blocks that are half of my driveway. Every hot day there were a lot of them buzzing about just over the blocks, and digging holes in the sand the filled the honeycomb block design.

The technician who did the work explained everything in detail and was very thorough. The ants are gone; they were even able to make a dent in a large nest on the outside in my yard. Description of Work: We had chipmunks living in our garage and walls. The guy from Braman came out and set traps, and then came out and disposed of anything that was caught, and reset the traps. It was always the same guy, which I appreciated, and he came about every other day for the first week or so, or whenever I called him to report that we'd caught one. After a couple of weeks he filled the holes that they'd created. A year later none have returned! It was great.

My husband and I checked Angie's List as a starting point (we've never had this problem before), saw an excellent review of Braman and gave them a call. They were so wonderful on the phone and available to come out fairly quickly (within 2 days) that I didn't call anyone else. They were extremely professional and very patient and kind with me being so freaked out. They checked the whole house, inside and out, set out what needed to be set out and cleaned up along the way! I very highly recommend them.

Although it was pricey, he offered to let me to trapping and removal on my own for a discount, and recommended that I release them on the other side of a large body of water. I figured if I went with that route, my wife would leave me on the other side of a large body of water.

+ -1 moreDavid Graham, CT sales manager, did an inspection and provided us with detailed information concerning termites, their habits and life cycle. He was very clear and informative. He provided a written estimate of two approaches and brochures which further explained the treatments. We chose the Sentricon bait system and called the company shortly after his visit. They sent a technician that week and he inspected the house, basement and foundation and then installed numerous canister-style baits which are made of green plastic and sit flush against the ground. The company will return to monitor the system. We subscribed to a two year plan which comes with a guarantee that the termites and their colonies will be eliminated or Braman will pay for whatever new damage created by termites. We were very pleased with the price and professionalism of Braman's program.
Description of Work: We have a problem with termite colonies which have invaded our house. Braman suggested two options-a chemical application around the perimeter of the house or a Sentricon bait system which they install outside the foundation and monitor at intervals. We chose the Sentricon system.
