Paul Gentile Painting

Did not hear positive things about this provider and decided to look elsewhere.

Arrived on time, work was done quickly and efficiently, both workers were pleasant and courteous.

Excellent. Paul and one other person arrived on time. Took care of moving and covering up all furniture and personal items. Cleaned up and moved all furniture back as it was to the best of their ability. Followed up with a phone call to make sure we were satisfied.

The project went very well. Paul and his team showed up when promised and completed the jobs within the day. They were meticulous in how they covered and protected our floors and furnishings both in the room being painted and the areas of the house that they would be travelling through. The painting and staining work looks beautiful and professional. We are already planning to hire them again for a future project..

I called about getting an estimate for interior paint work and left a voice mail; NEVER got a call back.

No one showed up for the estimate appointment - waste of my time.

There w as good communication from the start. Paul promptly returned phone calls, showed up when he said he would and followed through on what was promised in the written contract. The only thing that I wish was done differently was the application of the oil based primer where the crew forgot to use fans to vent the fumes outside. They brought the fans the second day and the fumes were removed.

I found Gentile Painting in phone book, called them and he came by, gave us a price. Job was done in Wednesday, beautiful job, professional, clean and will use again.

Overall it went great! As I mentioned, they showed up as soon as possible to start the work, and spent a lot of time prepping the house.

Mr. Gentile was always very prompt in responding to queries and following up. His crew was helpful and easy to work with when they were on site. The house needed some heavy prep work and after all was said and done the house did a complete turn around and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend this business.

Professional from beginning to end. Very thorough work. Paul, Mike and crew were very polite and quiet. I hardly knew they were in the house. They kept their supplies and tools nicely in our shed and out of the way. They cleaned up after themselves. They didn't go over estimate. I recommend them, and I will use them again.

As it was summer, it was hard to get a company to complete the job but Paul's company agreed to do it. It took a bit of time for the work to begin as it was the busy season, but once they came it was done in about 2 days. The amount we paid seemed high, but we really didn't know how to gauge if the price was fair or not.

Paul did a great job! The work was done on schedule and at the price quoted. His team was very courteous, neat and through.

Paul and his team stained the new shingles on the front and side of our house. As well as a small portion on the very back. They did a great job. We are planning on having them back to stain the other side now that the cedar shingles are installed. Thank you

excellent service ; professional ; the house looks great ; the crew worked hard and completed the job in a timely fashion it is an older home and required a great deal of prep work and i feel it was very complete.

I did not hire him. Extremely expensive, a bit arrogant with women and he came smelling of liquor. I completed the work with another contractor at half the price he was asking and immediately (next day).

He was wonderful! They were here on time, you practically never knew they were here and they did a great job! In spite of the weather they still finished the job in the time they said they would and they were very professional! The deck looks beautiful, and it's an old deck!

Painters were in and out in one day, very neat and professional.

Service was excellent. His employees are polite and meticulous. They were careful with the gardens and bushes when using the ladders. They start early and cleaned up completely at the end of every day. The job Paul and his team did was superior and I can't wait to have them back to do interior work. I would recommend Paul Gentile for any job, large or small. Our house looks unbelievable and we couldn't be happier.

Overall they did a great job on the painting, in spite of several days of delays due to rain. Our only complaints involved communication between the various men involved. We had to repeat a few things several times [i.e. that the window box was to be black, not white, and that the "house" wall of the screened porch was to be painted too. The other thing was clean up, but they eventually got just about everything picked up and the house looks great! Oh, the worst thing was that they used bleach to power wash the porch, and several of my garden plants were damaged or killed. You should ask them to cover plants before they wash! We would definite ly use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

On both projects, Paul provided a detailed estimate, showed up when promised, took care in moving/covering our furniture etc, was neat, and left the work areas clean at the end of each workday. He did a great job and, on the first project, was very accommodating when we changed our color choice mid-project. Additionally, Paul and his employees, Michael and Chris, were very pleasant to have around the house and were very good at working in a home with little kids and a dog.

Upon arrival at the exact time that was stated everything was covered to protect any damage to carpet, furniture, cabinets etc. Removal of wallpaper and preparing the walls for paint and new paper was meticulously done. Every little nick and ding in the walls was fixed. When they were done for the day everything was cleaned up and furniture put back in place. Next time they came back (again exactly on time) they did the same with covering and protecting everything. They did all the painting as if they were doing it in there own home. Nothing was missed. When it came time to install the chair rail Paul went out of his way to match the color of the stain to my woodwork. He must have tried 5 or six different stains to match it exactly. He finally had to mix a couple stains together to get what I wanted. I couldnt have been more pleased. A lot of effort went into getting the stain right to please me. As far as the wallpapering goes you cant see a single seam and it looks fantastic. I cant say enough good things about my experience with Paul Gentile and his crew. I highly recommend them.

He was the fastest one to give me a quote; he was great. He was on time on the set date. He came out and he was polite. His quote was a little higher than some other companies I had received quotes from. Also, he said that he could not help me with some of the carpentry that I needed done. However, he was a good painter.

We live in a fairly large home on the water. As there is always a fair amount of moisture in the air we have to paint our house ever 5 to 7 years so Paul is the third, (and best) contractor we have hired to perform this job. Paul and his crew came in and power washed the house to remove all the loose paint and dirt. In addition, he put a wash on the back roof which removed years of staining. Once that was complete they painted the exterior of our home. The body of the house is stained and the trim is painted. Paul's crew patched and replaced the trim that was rotten and overall did a good job. Paul also performed a number of extras including painting our flag pole and a number of plant hangers. The crew also removed several exterior lights cleaned and reinstalled them. Paul stuck to the quoted price and we paid him half when he was about 4 days into the job and the rest upon completion, (8 days in total). A few days after completion my wife and I noticed an area that needed a touch up so I called him and he came back to fix that spot almost immediately. Overall, this was a very positive experience and he did a great job!

Paul and his crew are thorough, very hard working professionals; one and all.I couldn't have been more pleased with the job and how well it was accomplished.You will be well served by hiring these skilled. obliging gentlemen.
