Paul Gentile Painting

Never responded to request for estimate.

I emailed them to request a quote to repair my fence. Complete silence (>2 weeks later)--blown off. Disappointed with this unprofessional behavior.

The team at Paul Gentile Painting did an excellent job, and my wife and I love the final color of the house. Excellent communication with Paul and were able to decide on final details (color etc..) while we were away on Cape Cod on vacation. We have had multiple strangers stop by the house to comment on how much they love the new color, which is a testament to the workmanship of Paul's team. Would readily recommend to others.

Paul Gentile called me within 24 hours of my complaint. He repainted the areas that were peeling within 2 days and I am very satisfied with the results. Paul also said for me to call him if there any future issues regarding the paint.

Paul's crew did a great job and he started and finished within the time noted.

It went great. Paul arrived on time for the estimate the day after I called. I knew it was a bigger job than I originally thought They continually communicated when they would start, what work they would do, paint selection, repairs ( even ones I never noticed), and any questions we had throughout. They were very professional and did more than I expected . It was worth every dollar and I would hire him again.

I got four bids on the job. Paul was the lowest. He was also licensed and insured. Paul was on the job every day for two and a half weeks with one or two men. He demonstrated skill, resourcefulness and a commitment to quality. He was courteous and professional. He did exactly what he promised and to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend him.

Paul and his sons are complete professionals. We had a fence that looked like it was on its last legs and after they painted it, it looks brand new. We've used Paul Gentile Painting to also paint our house exterior and a number of interior rooms in the past. They always do beautiful work, are polite and courteous, and clean up after they are done. I highly recommend them.

Within a few days of receiving the estimate, I called him to accept. Time was of the essence since it was getting late in the season for exterior painting. He promised to come within two weeks but couldn't give me a definite day. He never came and never called. We could not find another painter before it got too cold, so now we are waiting for spring to paint.

Called for quote for small exterior painting job. Prior year had gotten quote for the same job but due to being late in the season never done. This year I called much earlier in the season and initially seemed like it might not happen again but after initial disappointed review Paul immediately called to let me know he had misplaced the ticket for my job and apologized. He was able to then complete the job within days and the bulkhead doors look so much better now.

They are absolute pros. From start to finish, they showed up on time, were very polite and were really neat. After the paint job, the neighbors came over to compliment us on the choice of Color and the job. I wish I had posted this sooner but I had a nice long eloquent statement typed after the job and while trying to submit it to Angies List, the connection was lost and I had to start over. Because of the paint job, we used it as an opportunity to sell our house as well. I would use them again.

Gave me a quote for $1000 to fix a 5 inch piece of trim. That is absolutely insane. I am going to do the work myself. It'll cost maybe $75.

He is very good , and very neat. He is very good I said, cool, works constantly until the job is finished. Overall experience, I will give him a B. The price was also good.

He was a bit abrupt to the point but not overly helpful or explanatory. He was responsive to my phone call; I believe he came out the next day.

They were excellent. I used them a couple of times. Whatever questions we had or anything, they redid things; they were very receptive to our demands or questions. They were prompt, courteous and good personalities.

Everything went as planned. The painters were efficient and completed the project in 2 full days and worked very clean. I thought the overall price could have been more competitive, however, I feel the overall job was worth the price.

Paul and his crew were polite and professional. They did a great job in a very reasonable amount of time for a very reasonable price. I would use them again in a minute!

The painter was very good. Worked a full five hours with no breaks. Very pleasant. Mr. Gentile did not buy the paint color shown in his brochure. Since it was relatively close, I didn't complain about color. Mr. Gentile did NOT keep to his estimate that he had written down on the back of his business card! I showed him the card and he said OH NO! He added $100.00 to the original estimate that he made when he came to look at the bathroom. SO, he is not trustworthy. The paint is a bit sloppy at the edges, I already had to touch up a spot where original paint started showing through!

Very professional, punctual and fact-based conversation. No nonsense and that's very much appreciated. Quote was outside my budget range but have no doubts that I would book job with them in the future.

He is a joke. He wasn't really even a painter. He let his son and his son's girlfriend come over. The owner does not do anything. He just tells you what to pay and picks his son up. I would never hire them again. He didn't even paint the ceiling and instead of using an electric sander they used a make shift sander. They dropped paint on the floor. It was really the most unprofessional experience I have had in a long time.

Paul was quick to respond to our phone call, and arrived as promised to give us a quote. He wasn't the lowest quote we got, but because of our initial experience, his paint brand (Benjamin Moore) and the work he was going to do, and also because of all the great reviews on Angie's List about his company, we decided to contract with Paul Gentile. Once we did he gave us a color chart to choose what we wanted and gave us a timeline of when he could start. He was right on target as promised. The painters were all nice guys and very professional. They worked hard and only stopped for a brief lunch everyday they were here. They arrived everyday weather permitting until the job was complete. They were very neat and did a great job. We are very satisfied and would recommend Paul Gentile Painting to everyone.

He showed up on time to discuss proposal and was hired. They showed up on time and worked hard everyday. There were a few hic-ups along the way but we got through them, and the end result is a beautiful job on a very old house. We're very pleased.

Paul was punctual, very casual in his manner and was nice enough. He walked around the outside of the house and then wrote up the estimate. His estimate was considerably higher than the first estimate that we received from another company.

Received a call back - when answered all i could hear was the caller swearing at someone in the room with him. Informed him that we would like 2 rooms painted. We are purchasing a house and needed the dining room and living room painted. We would not be able to get in before hand for a quote but have extensive pictures. Was told by him that hes not interested in doing business with me.

They were great. He went over all the paint colors and advised me on the different finishes. They were really, really quick and got everything done faster than I thought. They were prompt. They came early in the morning and stayed late in the evening.
