I took over the business in 1973 and it remains today family owned & operated with the father and son team with combined experience of 3 generations. Description of Work: I could not be more pleased. Very professional. Highest quality repairs made quickly, efficiently, with no mess. One call, one visit, and the fallen ceiling was fixed as if it never happened. Very reasonably priced as well. I will use Jake & Son in the future and I highly recommend their service. Thank you!

I see you gave us a A rating overall but choose to check off not to hire us again.If you would could you please contact us .I would like to clarify our records.Out of all the reviews we have never had that option checked off and out of 30,000 + jobs in 45 years the only clients who would not hire us again was the folks that were re locating out of town.I would contact you but dont having a record of your job..I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation. Description of Work: My initial contact with the company was positive. However, when they arrived at my home to do the work as promised, they said they couldn't complete the job because they didn't have the needed equipment and told my niece they would email me later. They never emailed me so I reached out to them to inquire about the problem. I received a response that they needed more time to redo the estimate because the work needed would be more extensive than originally thought. I promptly responded for them to send me a new estimate because the work needed to be done in a timely manner per our previous discussion. As of date, no estimate, no call, no email, NOTHING!

Im sorry we never heard back from you .We sent the new estimate as we promised.When we booked the job it was from a photo.Upon arriving on site the job was much bigger than what was discussed over the phone or what showed in the photo .plus it required special equipment to complete which was being used on a larger job .That was the only opening I had that day available with short notice,being out of our service area. I truly wish you had called me before posting such a negative review on my business.I would have gladly given you the estimate over the phone. We perform thousands of repairs in many cases over e mail with a photo. I did follow up your job with a phone call as well as e mail with no response. ..%99.999 of the time all goes well. You were not there on site for me to discuss the situation in person.and never received a response from you. We have a spotless reputation over 45 years with the BBB,yellow /pages and all on line service providers yelp,google, Angies list ./home advisor etc.

Description of Work: This the first time that I have been completely satisfied with one of Angies list listings. They were professional , followed through with what they said was going to be done and very resonable. The old plaster ceiling was repaired in an old the victorian house. Excelent plaster work.

Description of Work: Jake and Rocky are doing an amazing job of re-plastering the walls and ceilings of three bedrooms in my home. The home is undergoing an almost total rehabilitation, and of all the contractors I have worked with, Jake and and his son Rocky have been the best. They do what they say they will do when they say they will do it and have gone above and beyond to make sure I am happy with their work. They provide quick and firm estimates and are very responsive to questions and concerns. I wish they could do all the work on my house. And, most importantly, their plaster work is incredible.

I bought an old house and wanted to keep the plaster walls even after breaking holes to replace plumbing. Jake & Sons was recommended to me and I'm so glad they were. They did three rooms and a hallway, making the walls look amazing after I removed popcorn texture. They even add paint to the final coat so I can save myself a step with that. Jake was super professional at all times and I really appreciated his love for his work and the city. He finished the job on-time and I love the results. Note that plaster is not cheap no matter who does it because it's very labor-intensive (they worked on it for 3 1/2 weeks). I don't know how their drywall prices compare.
