Jake & Son Plaster & Drywall

Jake and Son came out to fix some minor water damage to the ceiling due water heater leak. Very professional, explained the work to be done and completed the job in less than an hour. Outstanding work! Even provided me tips on some DYI projects

Just had work done today and they were on time, the work was of the highest quality, professionally done, cleaned up, and all completed in a short time. Jake & Son are reasonable and very friendly. I would give them an A+++ if I could.

I am extremely happy with this job! On Monday morning, I sent Jake a photo of the damage and he was able to give me an estimate through email. I scheduled an appointment to have the repair done on Friday morning. He and his son arrived on time (Sorry I was two minutes late getting back to the house to meet you). They very professionally performed the repair job, being very careful to vacuum away dust as they worked. I was amazed how quickly they completed the work. I was happily surprised that there was no sheetrock dust left behind to clean up. The patch looks fantastic. This is a great father/son team who could not have been nicer or more professional. Jake & Son will definitely be my go to team for any future drywall work.

They came out very quickly and repaired the drywall as well as touched up some spots near the leak that I did not realize had any damage (but the mold was present inside). The job was done quicker than I could blink; They are professional, courteous, and do top notch work.

They did a great job and even fixed some cracks in my plaster for free while they were there!

I did not realize that paint can be mixed in with plaster for the final coat, so that there is no need to paint. Also, Jake and his son are so experienced and good at what they do that they had no need to do any sanding. The finished job is beautiful, with a lovely mellow matte finish. They put paper down on the floors so as not to track plaster and dust, and cleaned the work area thoroughly when done. I could not be more satisfied, and recommend this company highly.

The repair work was very professionally conducted. They answered my phone call the first time and gave me a quote and timeframe of when they could conduct the work (which was the next morning). Every word they told me over the phone was correct including time of arrival and time of completion. The work was conducted with very little to no mess left behind (impossible not to have mess with sheetrock). They even took the time to explain to my kids (4 & 3 years old) exactly what they were doing and even played the "quarter in your ear" game. I would recommend Jake & Son to anyone needing small repairs and I would hire them again.

Arrived right on time for the small repair job and were very quick, clean and efficient. The job was finished within a half hour. Very professional in their work and I highly recommend them for any plaster or sheetrock work: large or small jobs.

I thought I had a huge disaster to take care of and they assured me that it would be okay and not to worry. And it was! Completely responsive. They walk in, take over-start to finish, clean up! I had an antique dish collection where the plaster had fallen; they put bisclean over it all and dusted everything. There wasn't a speck of plaster dust and left things in pristine condition. They were done in a couple of hours. They left a can of matching paint for touch-up. They were happy and pleasant the whole time. The whole experience was magical. I couldn't believe it! What I thought was going to take all day was done in no time! It looks so gorgeous!

When I called Jake about the repair he answered the phone immediately. I was given a date and time for just a few days later. Jake and his son arrived promptly at the agreed time. They were very friendly & courteous and got to work carefully covering everything that might be in harms way. They worked quickly and the job was beautifully done. I am more than pleased with their work and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to someone else.

Jake and Son did an excellent job repairing my ceiling. I was very concerned that i would be able to tell where the whole was after the repair. There is no sign that there was ever a hole. They did an excellent job.

Everything about the service was great. I emailed Jake and Sons through Angie's list and got a call the same day to schedule the work for 7:30 am 8/15/15. I asked if they needed to come give an estimate and he said no he just needed to know the dimensions of the damaged area. After measuring, I called back with the dimensions and he gave me a price. The day of the job they arrived on time and began work immediately. I had tenants at the house and they were considerate of them and their furniture. They covered all areas near the repairs, covered the floors from the door to the repair areas and got to work. They were finished in less than 2 hours, cleaned up all debris and then cleaned the floors around the work area. This was an older house with 3/8 " sheetrock. They did a great job with the repairs and matching the texture. I thought this would be an all day affair and they were done and gone in less than 2 hours. It is not often you get that type of communication, timeliness, attention to detail and professionalism. These guys care about their work, are good at it and care about your home and satisfaction. i would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Jake and Rocky arrived when they said they would, made all the repairs, cleaned up the work area and did an excellent job. Their work was about 300% better than what my work would have been. Their card is now in my book of great service providers.

Once again Jake and his son Rocky did a great job doing a major piece of work. When I noticed a small issue, he and Rocky came back and fixed it quickly. They could not be nicer or more professional. Pricey but very well done.
