Terry was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, helpful, and reasonable. Prior to Terry's intervention, the maintenance required for my pool was overwhelming, and as a result the pool required a great deal of effort to maintain, and was not utilized much at all by my family. Terry understood that decreasing the required maintenance on my pool was a huge priority for me, while keeping the job within my budget. Terry explained to me that some items can be added to the pool later, such as a heater for the spa and heat pump for the entire pool, so I put off a few of the things on my wish list to stay within budget. Terry also pointed out that it is much more efficient to do some things simultaneously when replastering and repairing the deck, such as adding the water feature because water and electrical lines must be run under the deck, and the water feature foundation must be tied into the bond beam of the pool wall, which is easier to get done when the pool is drained and the new plaster hasn't been applied yet. There were some features I contemplated adding to the job, and when I discussed them with Terry he actually suggested not adding those additional features. Surely making these additions would have made the job more profitable for Terry, but his honesty and integrity shined when he recommended that I not make those additions to the job...he was cognizant of the look I was trying to achieve, and keeping the project costs reasonable. Overall, I was extremely happy with Terry and his crews. They were all very professional, and did a fantastic job. My children are using the pool more than ever now, and I've enjoyed a substantial reduction in the maintenance needed to keep it looking great. I had my job bid out by 4 different pool contractors and Terry's was price for the job was on the lower end of the 4 quotes, and I feel that the price was fair, but most importantly, the job was performed expertly with a tremendous amount of attention to detail and addressing the needs and vision I explained to Terry in the planning stages of the job. I couldn't be happier and would recommend Terry without hesitation! Thanks Terry!

First of all, I called two other pool companies intending to get comparative estimates. Neither of the other two even returned my calls. Aqua returned my call within a reasonable time period and set up a time to meet. The owner provided various design options and explained the cost/benefit of each option, assisted us in tailoring the design to fit our needs, desires and overall budget. He gave us a start date based on his availability, told us how long he expected the job to last and was pretty accurate with those dates. His staff was professional and well trained in their craft. The only negative was that they did not clean up as well as I would have liked when they were done, but we were able to do that on our own. That is a small price to pay in the short run in order to get long term quality work. Overall I was very pleased.

Our pool is about 30 years old and was in dire need of resurfacing. We had resurfacing done several years ago by a different company, and I wish back then we had used Aqua Pool Renovations because my experience on this go around has so far been much better. We contacted Terry to have an estimate done on resurfacing our inground swimming pool. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and prompt in meeting us and provided a reasonable quote which included all of the details for the scope of work. A few days later we agreed to have them do the work for us, and scheduled a day for the work to begin. However, we received a call from Terry that his crew could be out earlier than originally planned. We agreed, and the crew began work that day! These guys were awesome! The workers were very careful not to damage the deck around the pool with the equipment they used. They were also very courteous to us. They left the yard and patio/pool area just as clean as they found it. The whole process took about 3 days, and now the pool looks brand new.

Two contractors from Home Advisor contacted us and we were not impressed with their professional demeanor nor the ideas that they presented to us in reference to renovating and changing the look of our pool. We know now that those two contractors pay Home Advisor for funneling them pool leads. We decided to use Angie?s List because the homeowner pays a small fee to Angie?s and Angie?s provides contractors with proven track records and unbiased reviews. On Angie?s List we found Aqua Pool and that company had over 52 reviews and had won the Super Service Award for three years in a row. We contacted Aqua Pool Renovations and were very impressed with the owner Terry Lonatro and the creative ideas and style he presented to us for our pool project. The job was completed in less time than we expected and we felt like we got a first class project at a reasonable cost. Needless to say if you pool is blotched or you don't know what to do we would highly recommend Aqua Pool Renovations andit?s owner Terry Lonatro ( the Plastic surgeon of POOLS) to anyone interested in getting their pool renovated.

In seeking estimates for our recent pool renovation, which included replastering the pool along with regrouting existing tile as well as replacing our pool heater, we solicited proposals from multiple companies mostly recommended to us by friends. We found a fifth company, Aqua Pool Renovations LLC, online at Angie?s List. Aqua Pool?s Terry Lonatro responded quickly to our request for a proposal and was at our home an hour later, taking measurements. Within 24 hours he submitted a written bid that we considered to be both comprehensive and reasonable. Work got underway the following week and was completed within three days. We were impressed with the speed; skill and professionalism of Aqua personnel ---both prep and plastering crews?as they re-worked pool surfaces, replaced safety drain covers, and installed of the new heater. We were very pleased with the efficiency and workmanship of Aqua personnel and highly recommend them to anyone considering a pool renovation.

We started having trouble with keeping water clean in 22 year old pool. We even had dirt and sand getting in the pool which we thought was from the filter. After we learned our plaster need to be redone, we contacted several companies for quotes. None showed up when told they would and we had to reschedule multiple times. Terry showed up when scheduled and on 1st visit advised us on things we could do to maintain the pool better, before he even left he gave us pricing and was awarded job. He also suggested the sand and dirt could be coming from ground water after rains and seeping in throught broken tiles. Extremely informative and willing to share his knowledge. Waited weeks to post this so that I could verify the quality of his work and make sure the po stayed clear; and it does. We could not be more pleased. Highly recommend Aqua Pool & Renovations.

We thought our swimming pool needed to be re-plastered. Two contractors inspected the pool and quoted us prices to do the job. However, when Terry came out (right on time) he found that we only had some stains on the plaster and did not need to have the pool re-plastered at all! He just made some recommendations for removing the stains. By showing integrity, Terry has won our trust. After another 5 years or so, when it might actually be time to have the plaster re-done, we know who we will be calling.

Terry was very professional. He came when he said he would. Assessed our pool. It did not need to be re-plastered but he did recommend we get our water level tiles cleaned. Even gave us a name of someone to call. I would recommend Aqua Pool Renovations to all our friend. Very honest.

Terry's crew did an excellent job re plastering the pool and fixing a leak in one of the pool return lines. During the leak repair his crew damaged the return line and created another leak. Terry paid for the leak detection to find the leak and repaired it promptly. I was very pleased with his professionalism and attention to customer satisfaction. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him to friends and family.
