Description of Work: They were extremely professional and quick to diagnose as well as fix my roof problem without breaking the bank. Was tested with the 20 inches dumped on my roof later that week. Not a leak!

Description of Work: M.L. Raab & Sons Roofing Contractors inspected and repaired some small problems that were discovered during the home inspection done prior to the sell of my mother-in-law's house. We live in another state and they were more than willing to work with us. They responded promptly and got the job done the same week. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: Found and fixed roof leak that that original roofer could not locate and fix. Also replaced roof over porch and garage entrance. Did work in a timely manner. Cleaned up work area and were professional. Made extra effort to complete job before a predicted storm arrived which could have done more damage to inside of house.

Description of Work: They did roof repairs that happened from severe storms and general upkeep and maintence of skylights. Called them again for a small leak around my chimny that I was not even sure was part of the original job and they came out and fixed it the next day at no charge.

Description of Work: I can't put in just one service date. I have used Raab for new roofs, and repairs on two different houses. One job was under an insurance claim, and two jobs I paid 100%. All jobs were done timely, professionally, quickly and at the quoted prices. Their work has been excellent. They seem to be quite busy, but you just have to keep dialing their telephone number and leaving your info. They will get back to you and come do an estimate of the needed repairs or new roof. Their prices are very reasonable. On one house, they helped me patch up the roof and get about 4-5 more years out of it, then I had them put a new roof on it, including a flat roof over my den that has now been there about seven years with no leaks and still looks good. I have recommended them to friends who have used them and similar good results.

 + -1 moreI don't remember the price they charged me, but it was very reasonable. They were punctual. They were very neat and they cleaned up. You couldn't even tell that they had been here. The workers were polite and seemed knowledgeable. It was an emergency thing and they came out after hours.

 + -1 moreYou can trust what they say and the work they do. As promised, rep stopped by next morning after my first call. Rep examined the problem and said they would mail an estimate. Received the estimate within 5 days. Mailed it back on a Monday with signature. The very next Saturday workers arrived and completed the work within 3 hours. My wife thought the price was a little high, but one look at the way the flashing was installed around the chimney convinced me the work was worth the price. We should expect to pay a premium price for a high probability of quality work. So I rated them an A on price even though it initially seemed expensive. I might have found a cheaper price by getting more estimates, but I wanted a high probability of quality work. I was willing to pay the price and avoid hassles, too. The only effort I had to put into this job was 1 phone call, return the signed estimate, and later pay the invoice. It could not have been any easier or hassle free.
Description of Work: Job was to replace the rotted decking and flashing around chimney. Size of job: They used one 4 X 8 sheet of decking to replace rotted decking around the chimney. Replaced old improper single install flashing with correct double install flashing. Installed new roofing over area repaired.

 + -1 moreWhen a tornado blew through in the fall of 2009, my insurance company lowballed me on the estimate. Raab's was the only local company I could even get to show up for an estimate. Others would promise to show up, but never did or told me that they would charge me an estimate fee which my insurance company refused to reimburse. Raab came as soon as they could given the tornado and my insurance company and did an excellent job. I could not have been more pleased.
Description of Work: They replaced 1/2 of my roof due to tornado damage.

 + -1 moreWe were on a tight schedule and Juanita at Raab's worked with us to schedule the crew, allowing us to get the roof totally replaced within a week of our acceptance of their offer. The crew showed up promptly at 8:00 a.m. and had the roof finished within three days. We have landscaping all around the house and they were very careful to cover it with tarps and did a great job cleaning as they went. I would recommend getting an estimate from Raab's should you need a roof in the Shreveport/Bossier area.
Description of Work: We had to have the entire roof of our residence and pool house replaced due to hail damage. Brett Rabb came out and gave us an estimate which proved accurate (no bait and switch). He was very courteous and explained what they would be doing and how long it would take. The roof comprised 69 squares of new asphalt architectual shingles, new felt, new vents, and flashing. They also installed a modified rubberized roofing in one area which had issues with leakage in the past. All the old shingles, felt, etc were hauled away as well.
