Ray and John responded within 24 hours of a request for an estimate and presented a bid within 3 days (as did two other roofers). Their bid was detailed and requests for clarifications about small items were answered immediately. The quoted price was slightly less than the other bids, but more importantly it remained the final cost even when the wood damage was discovered and repaired. They started the work when agreed (allowing for the one day delay because of bad weather) and finished in the amount of time promised. Cleanup was thorough with only a handful of nails/debris left behind. I was on hand throughout the work and they were always willing to listen to my requests/questions without showing any annoyance. All in all it was a very thorough job with no aggravating interactions that commonly occur in these situations.

If you are looking for someone to remodel your home or repair your roof there is no reason to look any further. I have used numerous contractors over the years and Ray is the absolute best. He was prompt to every estimate appointment and was clear about all of the work and costs up front. His workers are great to be around, friendly and trust worthy. I purchased this home from my grandfathers estate, so the home means a lot to me. Our primary residence is in Dallas, TX so there were many times that I was away for a week at a time. He and his workers are trust worthy in your home and the work didn't slow down when I was away. Prior to hiring Ray I called and emailed about 20 contractors in the Lafayette, LA area, 5 showed up at the house and I only received two bids. Ray's bid from the start included all of the supplies that were need and the labor. He is a wonderful man to hire, you won't go wrong.

Initially we were very happy with the way they handled the roofing project. They were very responsive. John Faidley, salesman, was great and responsive, and over the course of the project Ray, the owner came out to oversee the everything. But after six months with our new roof we have run into a score of new problems. The wooden boxing around the entire perimeter of the house where the roof actually meets the house has begun to rot. We attempted to contact John 3 or 4 times at least before he came back out to the property to look at the issue. John did come out and inspected the roof. He informed my husband that not only were there shingle problem but the roof itself had major problems. After 2 or 3 weeks of not hearing any thing more from either Ray or John regarding this matter I personally found Ray at another job site. He sent one of his helpers back to our home to further inspect the roof. He said he would meet with us Monday and never came. I finally was able to meet him today, after having to leave work, and then her proceeded to tell me that the roof was not the problem at all. He told me that John no longer works for his company, and was never actually one of his employees, but his brother. He claims that he has no employees at all. He also says that he accepts no liability for any damage. He says he wants to help us and then showed me several issues, but told me they were all my fault. I have paid over 14,000 for a new roof and now all I have is rotted boxing and he is claiming no responsibility for any issue. I'm very disappointed because when I first talked to him about the issue two months ago he would take care of everything. I'm also disappointed because when the project was initially started I was informed that if any issue, such as rotted wood, were to come to light during the installation they would make sure not to continue with the installation until I was informed. They said if it was a small area they would take of care of it, but if it was a larger area they would be sure to discuss it with me and determine any additional cost. I was never informed of any rotted wood being found.

It went great!!! Ray was on the job at all times making sure all work was handled properly...Answered all my questions...His employees were very accommodating. John spent several hours with us ensuring we got the best price and quality. His carpenters were very knowledgeable, quick and quality work. All work was completed correctly the first time without them having to come back. I highly recommend Ray Rinardo Home Improvements for anyone that needs work done on their home. Ray and John did an excellent job. I received three bids for my roof, and I chose Ray Rinardo's Home Improvement because of the good price and John's professionalism. When getting the other bids, one of the other salesmen bad mouthed Ray and John. When I asked John about his competition he offered nothing but accurate facts that were not negative. I was impressed by his integrity and honesty. Ray and John's pricing is very straight forward with a flat price per square. They then added many small extras at no additional charge. When John was meeting with me to finalize the bid, he would point out things and offer to fix them within the original price that he had already told me. I would have been happy to get a solid roof for the original price, and I was willing to pay more for the extras I wanted. He told me that it wasn't necessary. So in addition to my roof, they fixed a rotten cupola, added ridge vents over an addition that did not have proper attic ventilation, replaced rotten decking on a portion of my roof, and John even repainted and repaired a hood vent over my outdoor kitchen. They had my roof completed exactly 1 week from when I signed the contract. It would have been done sooner, but they kept having rain delays. Everything that John told me they would take care of was fixed. They protected the landscaping and cleaned up everything so that it looked better than when they started. Ray even cleaned out my carport that I had been putting off sweeping! I am extremely impressed with my roof, their work, and their price! If you need a repair or a whole roof, do yourself a favor and call them! They are good guys that are not out to gouge their customers. Their pricing came out 17% lower than the highest bid, and was the same price as the other lowest bid. I chose them over the other lowest bid because they offered much better materials and the lagniappe that I mentioned. In the end it is a great roof at a good price.

I needed a new roof prior to selling house and was on very tight schedule. Ray cam next day, provided very competitive quote and started job 3 days later. Crew was quick and professional, protecting landscaping and cleaning up after job. Ray even came out afterward again to help me fix minor unrelated problems I needed fixed.

Mr. Ray returned my initial call promptly and was on site same day. We talked about the issues we were having with leaks, and he listened to my concerns - since I am a woman, this is something that doesn't happen often when it comes to home repairs! He had his team there within the hour and I now have a roof with no leaks, hooray! Another important point, he asked me to give him a call if I had any issues and he would come back free of charge. I don't expect I will need to, but it's nice to know that he guarantees his work. This is a great local company and I hope that if you are in the area he serves, you will give him a call because I highly recommend.

Came out one time as scheduled for an estimate and was able to start project 2 days later due to selling of house. His crew was on time, very courteous, protected plants and grass very well. Made arrangements for me regarding gutters. Kept me updated on progress and timeline. Worked fast and efficient, make sure work was finished before heavy rain started. Cleaned up front and back yard very thoroughly. Roof looks great.

Great results ... no mess, no leaks :) I will definitely use this contractor in the future & will recommend Mr. Ray to others as well.

Mr. Rinardo and his assistant show up as scheduled to clean the gutters at my home. My husband was there to supervise while I was at work. They were still home when I returned and I had the opportunity to visit with him a while. He was very courteous and helpful. After he left I asked my husband to rate him from 1 to 10 with ten being the highest rating. He rated Ray Rinardo Jr. Home Improvement company a 10 without hesitation.

Enjoyed meeting these guys working together as a family business. Very pleasant and professional while completing the task in a timely manner. Their skills go far beyone the services they provided to me and I would recommend you give them a call for all your home repair/maintenance needs.

It went very well, job done right will be calling them in the fall for some more work.It's hard to find someone for the little jobsthat cares they do.

It went perfect. He even done extra work that i had mentioned and made an arch entry way for my office for business. He did it without asking him to do it. He is very detailed, cleaned up well, and I didnt feel like I was taken advantage of.

Ray came in did a great job. They were very professional and completed the job in the prescribed time. When they left the only sign they were there was the new roof. My neighbor even came to ask who did the work. They will also be needing a new roof in the next couple of years and plan to contact Ray.
