Our home was seriously damaged by Hurricane Florence. We feel very fortunate to have found Ray Rinardo. Our experience with him (and his colleague Alfredo) was exactly what we needed in the aftermath and destruction caused by Florence. After receiving an estimate for over $5000.00, Ray assured me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my roof. No missing shingles etc. He really put my mind at ease. It really makes me sick, knowing there are companies out there, thay take advantage of people, especially after a major hurricane. My roof is only 6 years old, and the estimate from the other cimoany, that I did report, was for putting new shingles over the exsisting shingles. My question is, WHY?? So, thank you Ray for being one of the good guys. People need to kniw that people like you are there for us as we try and rebuild, after Hurricane Florence.

After calling multiple roofers, I was able to connect with Ray. He was responsive, professional and offered me a very reasonable price for the work. The very next day he showed up with one of his employees and did an exceptional job with repairing my roof. With the number of damaged roofs in the Wilmington area, it’s very challenging to find an experienced roofer that is fair and responsive to work with. Ray is top notch roofer and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

We selected Ray Rinardo's company based on previous Angie List reviews. We knew nothing about his company and hoped that the reviews were accurate. We were not disappointed. The owner was courteous, consistent, honest, timely and lived up to every aspect of the contract we executed. From start to finish, everything Ray Rinardo promised, he and his staff delivered. Not only did he and his staff perform his job as promised, he fixed prior contractors poor quality without hesitation and without asking for additional money. Discussions with Ray during the job confirmed that he would rather turn down a job than do it poorly. Ray used quality materials and installed it better than any roof I have ever seen installed. I have had several bad experiences with contractors in the past and am now very hesitant in allowing just anyone to work on my property. Ray Rinardo provided insurance verification, contractor licenses and transacted the bid process in a way that every other contractor should emulate. Our entire roof was done in approximately 1 1/2 days from start to finish and we are totally pleased with the outcome. This crew works none stop and each does their own job. Amazing to watch them in action. We chose Driftwood shingles with clay tiles in charcoal and dark brown, staggered. I must say that was a good choice. They are without a doubt second to none. I would recommend their services to anyone who may be looking at replacing their roof.

Some roofers we called didn't return our call - I guess the project was too small. Others we talked to seemed to want to expand the project into something much bigger, and couldn't give us a quote or a schedule for starting work. All I needed was a very small repair to a minor problem that was causing the insurance company to cancel our coverage. Ray came and gave me a quote right away, and said his team could add the project to some others he had scheduled for the very next day. That was perfect timing! We were out all day, but when we returned the roof was fixed as promised. He also painted a small piece of metal roof that was rusting while he was up there. That was perfect. The insurance company was satisfied and the problem was solved.

I called Ray after reading other reviews on Angie's List. My roof had been damaged by hail. Ray came by that day and gave me a quote. When I had trouble with the insurance adjuster Ray came back and meet with the adjuster and pointed out damage she had not seen. Rays crew did an excellent job and the new roof looks great. They cleaned up the yard very nice before they left. I would recommend Ray and will use again if needed.

I bought my house knowing the roof would need to be replaced. After the severe storms that came though in 2016, my roof developed a bad leak. I called Ray and he and his assistant came out the next day to give me a quote. I explained what I knew about the roof, they took measurements, and we discussed the options. Knowing my money situation wasn't the best, Ray agreed to replace half the roof and do the needed repairs. There was no attempt at pressuring me into getting more work done or buying more expensive materials than necessary. He even helped me choose a shingle color and style that will compliment the cosmetic changes I am planning for next summer. The roof was finished in less than a day. The crew was fast and professional, and their cleanup was perfect. I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work.

Ray was at my house within an hour to give an estimate. I agreed to the price and he started the work immediately, it was completed in 2 hours. He washed off the house and patios and no mess was left behind. Everything was picked up and thrown away. Very satisfied with the timeliness and the quality of the work.

Ray Rinardo had done a roofing job on our street about a year ago and at that time left us a shingle sample brochure along with a satellite diagram of our roof. He also gave us a price for re-roofing based on the size of the job. We had saved that information, as we knew that we would be needing to have our original 36 year old roof replaced. Based on that information and price and the many positive reviews on Angie's List, we decided to contact Ray. We had also contacted another roofer to get an estimate on a metal roof, but cancelled the appointment when we saw a TV ad from that company proclaiming that "the first 10 callers will get a 40% discount." That sort of an offer immediately raises red flags for us. All work was done in a timely and professional manner by Ray's crew. There was no damage to flower beds and hedges around the house and all debris, nails, etc., were completely cleaned up. The entire job took 2 days to complete. We asked for the Angie's List discount and a senior discount ~ basically asking for the lowest price he could offer. Ray came in at $1000 less than the price he had given us about a year ago, so we decided to go with him and didn't bother with getting any more estimates. He was able to begin the job the following day.

Early summer of 2015 I found Ray's name on Angie's List and contacted him to provide an estimate on an investment property I was considering for purchase. He arrived promptly, did his measuring and before leaving I had a written estimate (contract) in hand. Ray's reviews were most impressive, and he also offered a $500 discount on his roof jobs with a minimum of "squares" meaning a regular size house, and not a shed, provided you downloaded his coupon on Angie's List! I decided against purchasing the house, however, by mid summer it was discovered that my sister's rental house (she is an absentee landlord) in Breaux Bridge had a roof leak and she asked me to arrange for a roofer to repair it. Ray immediately came to mind, so I called him with the measurements and he gave me a price over the phone so I booked the job. I had called several other roofers about the first investment house and some came in higher, and some were very close to Ray's estimate, yet I felt confident in calling only Ray for my sister's house after he had explained to me how he priced his jobs (he has a very precise system) and being consistent with his estimates, there was no guesswork involved, yet that $500 discount put him ahead of the others. I consider that to be very smart marketing, and because he does such a great job, he feels confident that losing that profit will come back to him ten fold with loyal customers (who tell other potential customers, so on and so on). Fast forward, Ray and his crew arrived on a sweltering Saturday morning in the dead heat of July, removed the old roof, found some rotted decking, replaced it, and reroofed the house all in one day. Granted, replacing the rotted decking had to be added to the original price of course, yet it was very reasonable and I had no objection to his adjusted price. I also asked Ray to close some, what appeared to be areas where squirrels or rodents could crawl into, that had been undiscovered until this day, and after a short trip to the local box store, I provided him with the materials and it was taken care of, at no charge for the extra time or labor. Just today, I met up again with Ray to give me a roof estimate on my home in Erath and again, he left me with his written estimate/contract. After completing a few other projects that must take priority, I'm sure I'll be calling Ray to return to Erath once those are completed! I would recommend Ray for anyone looking to replace their roof anytime. Ray is quite knowledgeable, experienced, very professional, and most importantly of all, is present the entire time working along with his crew.

Having had a bad experience with our contractor, we had to find someone to complete a nearly 1000 square foot addition. Mr. Ray and his crew exceeded our expectations. I definitely would have hired him for the entire job had I of known of him prior. We didn't even have walls up yet when he accepted the huge task of finishing this project. Without question, I will never call anyone other than him for any future home improvements, renovations, or repairs. He was knowledgable with every aspect of the job and was 100% hands on and very attentive. I can safely say without him, I would have lost my sanity! Five stars all the way!

Ray was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process of replacing our roof in Broussard. He responded to my initial request for an estimate quickly and was able to answer all follow up questions without issue. Although, his estimate was one of the lowest I received, the materials he used were excellent and the work provided by his employees was outstanding. We are extremely pleased with our new roof and would not hesitate to use Rinardo roofing in the future should the need arise.

Ray, John, Tammy and entire crew are great. No problems or snags. The crew protected our flowers and landscape. Continuous monitoring of debris and nails on our neighbors driveway and lawn, too without having to mention this concern to them. Our neighbor is so impressed they asked for Ray's card. The roof is rated for 130 MPH winds.

The crew was very considerate to my neighbors driveway and yard by continuous use of magnetic device to make sure nails were not on their driveway, as well as my entire lawn and flower garden. Protected landscaping, too. My neighbor is so impressed, they got Ray's card from me.

Never heard back from Mr. Rinardo. After my initial call to him regarding a roof repair, he never called me back as he said he would. If he didn't want the work, he should have just said so.

They andto come back a few time but they did come back and it eventually resolved.
