I called 24 hours before service was performed and they were able to make an appointment for me the very next day. The assistant who made the appointment told me I would receive a phone call about 30 minutes before the service person arrived so I would know they were on their way. I received this call and within 30 minutes the service person, Mr. Watson, arrived. He went right to work, checking out all factors that might be contributing to the slow lavatory drain issues before beginning to work on the issue. He worked quickly and neatly, taking apart sink drain traps and snaking the line. He showed me areas to check if I encounter issues in the future. Mr. Watson was a thorough and informative. We're pleased with the work Roto Rooter did for us and would use them again in the future for similar issues.

The technician quickly found the fastest way to clear the restriction and removed it within an hour. He cleaned up afterwards. All house drains now are working. Roto-rooter provides a 6 month guarantee on their work, so that is very satisfying.

Bill was great! We called around 9:00 PM on a Saturday night because we had no running water. The tech arrived quickly and was able to get the water running. He replaced the valve and explained the issue clearly. He gave us the cheapest option and fixed the issue in about 20 minutes and was awesome to work with. Bill- Tech 1581

Todd was fantastic! He did great work, was very professional and flexible. Easy to work with, punctual, and willing to do whatever it took to make sure ithe plumbing was done right. Due to the age of the house, everything was more complicated than one expect, but Todd was patient, diligent, and very thorough. I would highly recommend him and Roto-Rooter.

Terrible. My wife and I gave specific instructions to the dispatcher that we spoke to which were confirmed. The technician was instructed to call us ( the landlords) with what he found at the home before he did any work. He was also supposed to call and get our billing information to complete so that we could pay for any extra charges. Instead he arrived and "removed a blockage in our drain pipes. he then billed our tenant for his extra work and never called us. My wife and I awaited his call and the appointed time and received nothing. I had to call Roto Rooter and my tenant directly just to confirm that he had actually showed up. After 2-3wks spent trying to resolve the issue with Roto Rooter and being bounced around between different customer service representatives on the telephone, roto rooter eventually refunded our tenant.

Easy to schedule an appointment!!! Bill was the technician. He arrived as scheduled!!! He explained and showed me what had to be done to solve my problem. Bill gave a price, I accepted it and he performed the work in less than 30 minutes. He was very professional and his work was excellent!!!

I called this am for the emergency repair after finding they were "A" rated. on Angie's list. They were very responsive, a little later than expected time given. I do realize some jobs can take longer so I did not have a problem with that. Bill and tech 1581 were very professional and courteous I will be signing up for the special deal being offered now as I have some other plumbing issues needing attention. I did get a discount for being a Angie's List member. Definitely using again.

Very prompt scheduling, within 10 minutes. Devin Jones was the employee on site. I wasn't able to be there but he kept me informed of everything via phone as the different stages of the repairs progressed. He talked to my tenant in person to verify that the sewer line was back up and running after he was done. Devin was great, super fast, friendly, and got the job done right. Thanks so much!

All of my toilets were backed up. I called Roto Rooter and the gentleman who showed up was very courteous and professional. He was able to unclog the main drain but told me that the main sewer line is broken and will need urgent repair. He then called his co-worker to stop by and give a quote on repair of the main line. The second person gave me a quote for $4,500. Told me it will take roughly 3 days to fix. Sound all great....except. I called another local plumber to get a second opinion....and he was able to fix my main sewer line in 1 day and it only cost me $800. That's a big price difference! The first plumber was fair, got the job done on time, and his charges were expensive BUT REASONABLE. The second plumber, again was professional and courteous. BUT his charges were COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE! How can one quote $4,500 for a job that another licensed/insured plumber is easily willing to do for $800? I don't think I will call Roto-Rooters for a big job. I think they are very good with small jobs.

I will give them an F on everything. It took me a month to get a quote from them. When they came out and did the job, they actually charged me more. You have to give them a payment in advance with a credit card. They had already charged my card. They dropped the ball on that job because they didn't finish the job so I ended up spending more money for another plumber.

The technician arrived on time in the morning to repair the leak. He was not able to turn off the water at the meter due to a broken handle. The Parish Water Department had to called to repair the meter. The Parish repaired and raised the meter about noon time. The technician remained in contact with me via phone. He returned the next morning to perform the repair and replace my shut-off valve.

The job performed by Tech 59 (Devin Jones) was superb. Mr. Jones presented me in detail what the problem was and how he was going to do the repair. I could tell Mr. Jones was an expert in his field. He presented the job details that a non- lumbing professional could understand how his work would be accomplished. Mr. Jones not only told me about the work but he also showed me pictures of the old pipe and the new pipe after his job completed. And lastly, Mr. Jones cleaned any mess he made while performing his work. He made sure the cabinet where he worked was clean and free of any dust or dirt. Because of Mr. Jones knowledge and professionalism I would definitely call Rotor Rooter and request Mr. Jones (Tech 59) to perform the work for any future plumbling that I may need at my home. I trust his judgement and expertise. In addition, Mr. Jones's people skills (customer service) are impeccable. He definitely put his customer at ease in knowing I was going to get a job well done. I really appreciated Mr. Devin Jones (Tech 59) being the plumber sent out to perform a job well done on behalf of Roto Rooter. Thank You

The came out and told us that it was not a simple fix and that they couldn't do it.

Devin from Roto Rooter New Orleans arrived on time and was extremely efficient and pleasant to work with in fixing my plumbing issues. He was quick and they actually came at 8am after contacting them at 10pm the night before - very quick. I had a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink along with a clogged garbage disposal and he took care of it very quickly. Great service.

All work was completed. The service person, Devin, was exceptionally professional and good to work with. I'd ask for him again. The basic prices were higher than I'm used to, but the Angie's List discount helped and they do offer a good warranty.

Excellent. Amos Watson was the technician and he was punctual, cleaned up after the install. There was are led with the valve and difficult to drain the old tank. Amos sorted it out and installed the new tank. He also returned a call to me after hours. He was extremely professional. Highly recommend.

Everyone knows that when you have a leak or plumbing issue, it is a very stressful ordeal. Particularly, when the issue is being experienced by someone other than yourself and you are responsible for fixing it. Recently, I called RR to fix a water pressure issue and a leak in a rental property. A repairer came out the following day, but I seriously wish he hadn't. He was socially challenged and it created a bit of a rub at the outset. He knew it was a rental property and for some reason he decided to treat them as second class citizens. He never spoke to them, informed them of anything and left without saying anything to them. I had to pry general info out of him and found his pricing suspect given my past experience with this company. Once the tenants noticed he was gone, they also learned nothing was fixed and there were two leaks when there was only one before. Never mind that I was already charged for work that wasn't done. The review is 3 stars because despite this p*** poor experience, the general manager Mike McCloskey sent a new person out. He said the Greg was off but I know for a fact he was working. Guess that's a nice way of saying I'm going to improve your experience. And he did. The new tech (Devin) was a godsend. He fixed it all and communicated with the tenants. And for that I am thankful. Also, Mr. McCloskey took an additional $50 off the total bill. I would say it was great except that it is the same discount given if you check in on Yelp when the service is done. But it was a nice gesture on his part though it was appropriate under the circumstances. Despite my scar tissue, I am satisfied with the end result. And the tenants are too.

The plumber was to arrive between 12PM and 4PM. I called the company at 4:05PM asking about the appointment and was told she would contact him. One minuet later the plumber called me saying he was knocking on the door with on answer He was given my neighbors address not mine. The plumber was dressed professionally and apologized for the mistake and was very pleasant . As I watched, he did the job quickly and efficiently. Should the need arise, I will contact Roto-Rooter again. I would recommend Roto-Rooter and Angies List for any problems.

Representative arrived and walked through the 4 things I was interested in having done - snake out 2 bathtub drains, one sink drain and put an elbow on an outdoor pvc pipe to hook up to a faucet for my hose. He then gave me an estimate of 900$ which was pretty shocking. I asked him how much just to do the one tub which was the main problem and he said 350 or 375, I forget which. I then said thank you very much for coming but I'd prefer to get another estimate. I got another plumber to come in and do the tub and the sink for $175. So, I guess my 25$ deal was pretty much for nothing.
