Description of Work: I didn't allow them to perform svc on the perceived problem. I called another vendor and they came out and fixed the problem for $110

Description of Work: Roto-Rooter came and made adjustments to a constantly running toilet, removed a leaking water softener system and repaired a leaky faucet. The plumber who responded was very professional and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: I called them because I have really good luck with them showing up on time. The only problem is the price! They charged me $420 to unclog a toilet! And that was with the coupon. They are punctual and can usually send someone out the same day, but the price was unrealistic and actually it ended up not even being a clog, it was the vent. Didn't find that out till I called another company

Description of Work: Charged around 200.00 for sealing a drain plug in tub that took him 15 minutes. He then gave me a estimate for a leak under the kitchen sink of 800.00 that another plumber fixed for 80.00.

Description of Work: I needed a garbage disposal installed I purchased one.the worker encouraged me not to put it in and in fact stated he didn't like to put them in my sink and drain remain inefficient with a broken dishwasher I paid roto-rooter and they won't come back out and install my garbage disposal

Description of Work: When Roto-Rooter came to my home it was two service people who promptly explained to me that my $75.00 of service only applies if I spent $500.00 of service and if I spent 200.00 worth of service then only $25.00 would apply to the service work. The service provider also informed me that if the other service worker gets his tool box out of the truck and brings it inside my home it would cost me $199.00. I asked the two service workers from Roto-Rooter to leave my home and was told that if I change my mind about the work to give Roto-Rooter their service number because another worker would charge me $236.00. I was very disappointed because in the Fine Print it did not indicate that I should have to spend $500.00 to get $75.00 worth of service. I would like my $ 20.00 refund for the money I spent with Angies List. The problem was to replace a washer inside of my kitchen faucet, any honest plumber would have seen the problem and given me an estimate.
