Capital Improvement

Description of Work: On March 28,2012 I signed a contract for a screened and insulated roof patio. Everything was fine until On June 10, 2013 I noticed that several of the seams were leaking. I called 8 times before they came out on August 7, 2013. They said they fixed the problem. | |Between August 2013 and March 2016 I had total of 9 leaks and each time they re-taped the seams but never permanently fixed them. I filed 2 complaints with the BBB of Greater New Orleans Area 3421 N. Causeway Blvd. Suite 505 Metairie, LA 70002 each time they took so long to respond the BBB closed the complaints. | |On March 18, 2016 A lady from Capital Improvement called (I think but am not sure) she said her name was April Handley and with a pugnacious demeanor told me that the only thing they could do was to put a wider tape on which they never did and that I would have to deal with the manufacture as they could no longer deal with this. I tried to contact the manufacture but the telephone number was no longer in service. |

Description of Work: They did my patio cover and vinyl railings.

Description of Work: They installed 3 windows in the front of the house and painted all trim and fascia of house and detached garage. It took them 1/2 day to install the windows and 4 days to do the painting. Damaged some bushes in front of the house while painting. Took responsibility for the damage and, at their cost, paid to have new shrubbery planted. Overall work was satisfactory and windows still look great and open with ease. I would contract work with them in the future.

Description of Work: New patio stained and stamped concrete slab, insulated patio cover, vinyl wrapped soffit fascia and new gutters.

Description of Work: I used Capital Improvement for fencing services. Mostly decking work.

Description of Work: The Capital Improvement people built a large sunroom for me. They gave me a start date and actually started earlier than that date. I interviewed several companies. Mr. Llamas from Capital Improvment was the only person willing to sit with me and listen to what I wanted. He was very specific as to what the company could/would and could not do. Every detail was written into a contract and they have almost fulfilled that contract. Thomas was the first person to start the work. He tore down and removed my old porch. He was thorough and cleaned up everything in a timely manner. Next came the concrete people. Francisco was the head of them. He, too, seemed knowledgeable about the job that needed to be done. His workers Ruven, Jovani, Alex, and Walter worked hard and I believe also did a good job. I don't know anything about concrete work, but it looked correct to me. Walter even came on a Saturday to finish the job and clean up. They were also very quiet, which I appreciated, since I was working at home. J. D., Nicholas, and Brandon just finished putting up the walls, windows, doors, and roof. They seemed to work quickly and efficiently. I sure like the work they did. The windows open smoothly and the doors close nicely, and they, too, cleaned up the trash. Of course, time will tell as to how well the work really is, but so far the room is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I will post any problems if they arise, but I do not expect them to.
