ACE then provided an estimate of the additional repairs that were needed, and came out ahead of schedule to do the work. Ryan and his associates were always professional and polite. I would recommend them to anyone and call on them again.

+ -1 moreI would recommend Arc Roofing highly. We have had ongoing roof leak issues, and have spent a lot of money with roofers trying to fix this problem. Finally, I bought a roof maintenance package through Angie's List, and ended up hiring Arc to fix my roof. They were incredibly thorough. They took pictures of the areas they fixed (never had anyone do that before), and worked with us for several months to ensure the roof was properly fixed and not leaking anywhere (they would call after heavy rains, etc). Ryan is a really nice, patient, and knowledgeable person. I have already recommended him to a friend of mine. It is really nice to work with a vendor you feel you can really trust. I can't say enough good things about this company, and about Ryan.
Description of Work: Arc fixed an ongoing problem I had on my roof that was causing leaking into my walls, and creating a lot of damage.

+ -1 moreIt went very well Mr. Ryan Moran came to the house it was raining that day which was a good thing because it showed him how the water was sitting in the area that was causing the leaks which I though was on one side of the house ,but was on the other side of the house and the rear. I originally had the roof replaced in 2006 and been having issues with the roofing company to repair what they did wrong. Mr Moran was very professional and kind at the same time I would recommend him(Arc Roofing) to any one with roofing problems

Description of Work: I had a couple of roof leaks. Ryan Moran inspected the roof and determined I had on small leak and a larger leak. He explained the causes for the leaks, He showed me pictures of a similar roof problem, what he would need to do to fix them and provided an estimate. He deducted the $99.00 fee. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work involved. After I accepted his proposal; he made arrangements to repair the roof. He showed me the materials he used, which were good quality. He and his staff were very professional and efficient. They were surprisingly quiet. I work at home, and they worked on roof right by my office. There work did not interfere with my work at all. They cleaned up afterward.

I had a lot more going on with my roof that was beyond the scope of that but they applied the $99 from the big deal for the work that I had done. I didn't have any loose shingles or flashing to be repaired. He came out, looked at everything and talked to me about what was going on with my roof. His pricing was very fair.

My husband went on the roof with the roofer (I'm late on writing review and cannot recall his name) and did a thorough inspection and pointed out several items of concern. We were on a time crunch and were very pleased with how quickly he responded and scheduled the day for the inspection. Would definitely use them again.

The estimate was extremely high and so I decided not to have the work done. I don't think they should sell a "roof maintenance package" if it is just a payment to get an estimate done. I have had other companies come give free estimates.

+ -1 moreIt was a wonderful experience that came from a disaster for me. I respect and trust Angie's List. companies. This is what happened. The roof problem was evaluated and the price was very fair, another small but damaging problem was discovered that was caused by a previous roofing co. he offered to solve this matter at the current price. The project was scheduled for a Friday with rain a possibility. Mr. Ryan called me on Wed. and asked if he could fix it today. Yes, I was thrilled, with the possibility of rain and more damage, this was a welcomed surprise! When replacing damaged plywood it was found that boards underneath plywood had completely rotted, the price was raised but only for the cost of the wood. He showed me pictures of before, during and after the project was completed. His work was impeccable, I would recommend his service to everyone. Mr. Ryan was very professional.
Description of Work: Mr. Ryan evaluated the problem and gave me a good price. Was able to get to project completed before it rained. Removed damaged shingles and roofing paper cut out damaged 3/8 plywood then they found additional problem the boards to hold up plywood were completely rotted. He consulted with me & purchased addition boards at cost. The rotted boards were removed. The replaced area was fixed so well I could not see where the damaged area had been. Mr. Ryan also fixed a damaged spot to divert rain water away from siding that was becoming damaged.

His price minus Angie's senior discount was what he quoted -- no surprise "extras" were charged and he took care of what little wood that was needed. He viewed the job on Oct. 23 -- provided the estimate on the 25th. I reviewed all estimates and research proposed material. I decided on ARC Roofing's proposal the morning of the 27th and we signed the contract the evening of the 27th via email. Work started on the morning of the 28th and the job was completed the morning of the 31st. His crew was the same way (Juan, Asis and the others) prompt, courteous and professional. And, no damage to the landscaping. A pleasure doing business with Ryan and his company, ARC Roofing.
Description of Work: Main Roof (Mansard). Repaired leak over dormer window (removed poorly installed rain diverter, removed area shingles). Installed new subsurface [GAF Stormguard membrane], new 26 gauge flashing, and architectural shingles). Extended the front edge of roofing to ensure rain runoff would not return between roof shingles and subsurface. Repaired leak and improved Chimney roofing area (Chimney is approximately 2 1/2' x 6'). A substantial amount of chimney shingles and sub surface area was removed, rotted wood on left side was removed and so was all the flashing [sides, front and back]. They replaced the rotted wood with new wood, installed the Stormguard membrane, built a "cricket" (small roof rain diverter) behind the chimney, installed 26 gauge painted steel and flashing at the chimney roof interface and installed new shingles. They also put a grove in the brick above the chimney flashing and installed a diverter flashing to further protect the roof-chimney interface, Replaced the flat Roof (approximately 25' x 25' continuing into a breezeway flat roof (approximately 8' x 10') that tied into the mansard roof. Removed all materials down to the wood deck. Installed ISO insulation fastened with Olympic screws. Installed Genflex TPO White Membrane [seams welded and membrane adhered to the ISO. A steel angle perimeter [26 gauge white Kynar painted steel] was added capping the edge of theTPO and ISO The work site was completely cleaned -- as though they were not there originally.
