South Coast Solar was great to deal with. I had did a lot of research on solar systems before I even started to get estimates. Jason Brannon was very professional and invested plenty of his time, through multiple phone calls and visits. Once pricing was agreed upon and contracts signed, South Coast was very prompt with the installation and also flexible enough to work around my schedule. The actually installers were very professional and cleaned up the jobsite after every visit. They also took time to answer any question I had about installation. Overall a great job and also the best price out of the competition.

They were the only one of three companies I contacted that returned my call. The salesman was very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant, was not pushy but polite at all times. He always promptly returned my calls during the period from time of application to finished installation. Installation was done on schedule as promised and they did an excellent clean up afterwards. System operates as promised and is producing the power they projected.

South Coast Solar did an excellent job on all phases of this project. They worked with me on the details of the installation including the location of equipment and the number of panels to maximize the system output. An unusual aspect of this installation was the inclusion of a radio link between the inverter and an indoor desktop desplay device which shows the current pwer production as well as historical production. This makes if possible to see the system functioning in real time and totals the value of the poewr over various time intervals. Since I self-financed the installation, they worked to maximize the hardware supplied and features to my interests. They were completely professional to work with. They held to the original schedule and had me in operation as planned. The sysetm is performing as designed. I am more than happy to recommend then to anyone interested in a solar panel installation.

Although I paid a high price for the solar panels, I received a $10,000 credit from the federal government and a $12,500 credit from the state of Louisiana. South Coast Solar has always been very responsive to my questions. I have a two story house that has many green features such as blown in insulation and "low e" windows. I have gas heating, so in the winter most of my bill goes to that. For seven months from the December bill until the June 4th bill, I had basically no electric bill. I paid only the base rate charge of $8.07. (Which I believe is the cost of using the electric lines.) I absolutely love my solar panels. Recently I purchased a generator. Scott from South Coast Solar came over to my house to be sure that the solar panels were working well with the generator. Everything was fine, but I appreciated the fact that he came over to check things out. I am very pleased with both my solar panels and the service from South Coast Solar.

It cost Cost $75,000 (equivalent of three standard systems). I would be happy to hire them again.

I am very satisfied. I think they are very professional. They did an excellent job with the installation. They cleaned the area up really well. It exceeded my expectations as far as performance goes.

It turned out great. There are alot of firms that are in the solar panel market who lack in the financial background or are not qualified. I wanted to stay with someone that will be around in case there is any minimal work that needs to be done even though they don’t require much maintenance. I also wanted to stay with someone that stood behind their warranty and they have. They are a notable firm.

They did well. We had a few challenges with making sure some of the minor details were taken care. However, the quality of the work was very good and it’s nice having functional panels.

It was excellent from start to finish. Their customer service, price and delivery were great. They also handled all of the historic district permitting so I didn't have to handle any red tape.

He was very knowledgeable and the price was very competitive. They were always on time and very professional. I had no problem with them.

I shopped around A LOT and ultimately South Coast Solar gave me the best deal and the most comfort. They were professional every step of the way, didn't over-promise, and worked late on the final day of installation to have the job completed before I left to go out of town. I'd definitely recommend shopping, but, be sure South Coast is on your short list. They handled all the paper work - permits, etc. But, that's probably an industry standard.
