Replacing the ice maker did not make a difference. It still didn't work. The serviceman came back and eventually determined that the freezer was not cold enough to engage the ice maker. He set the freezer to LG specs, -4°. It still didn't work. He came back again and determined that the linear compressor was not working properly. I asked him to fix it, as the warranty was still in effect, but he said that Pro Appliance Repair was no longer an authorized LG service dealer. They had just cancelled their contract with LG as LG was so difficult to work with. They recommended that I use one of the other service dealers. I called both of them. With one, I got an answer machine, left a message, but did not receive a call back. The other service provider (Solar) could provide the compressor on warranty, however their service call and labor was so expensive that it was just a little less than Pro Appliance would have charged for the part and the labor. We decided to get a new refrigerator rather than pay the outrageous service and labor charged by Solar. Although they did not actually fix the problem, I gave Pro Appliance an "A" rating because of their professionalism and reasonable prices. They did not charge for the two service calls after the initial visit. They were up front with respect to their relationship with LG. I would not hesitate to use them again.

He specializes in washer. He was very good and very knowledgeable. I've used him repeatedly over the years and I've always been very happy.

Service person was polite and arrived as expected. Very courteous. Did not have the part I needed but returned the next day as promised. The new part was not a solution so service person continued to diagnose by calling another service man. Left to get another part but returned promptly. This solved my problem. Fully cleaned up before he left. Office staff was courteous about billing. Would have given an A rating had a second trip not been necessary.

We've used them on several occasions for Refrigerators, washers, dryers, and dishwashers. Derreck came out when we were told he would arrive and fixed both problems in a very timely manner. My tenant has had her share of service men throughout her years here and said verbatim "He was the best service person I've ever had in the city of New Orleans, he is a rare find, let's keep him" Paige was very responsive as well in getting him scheduled. I'm very pleased with them and will continue to use them as repairs are needed.

Scheduling was fast. Gave a 2 hour window. Called 15 minutes before arriving. Diagnosed problem, order parts and fixed the following day.

We were referred to this company by our home warranty company after a failed attempt to have our refrigerator repaired by the first repair company we were referred to. The first company's repairman had no idea what was making noise and causing frost build-up in the freezer, so he called his supervisor. The supervisor also had no idea what it could be. He decided the frost was caused by a combination of a bad freezer door gasket and the doors being uneven, and that the doors cannot be adjusted. He said he'd have to order a replacement gasket and would call in a few days when it came in. I paid $100 toward our home warranty deductible for this. He never returned or called and three weeks later we still had not heard from the company. Phone calls to them went unanswered, so we cancelled our service order and got a new referral to Professional Appliance Repair . Within a few days (they would have come sooner if it had been a more urgent issue) Jim and Derrick came out exactly when scheduled. IMMEDIATELY Jim identified the year and model just by looking at the unit, diagnosed the problem as a bad circuit board, replaced the bad part with a new one from their van, inspected the gasket and found nothing wrong with it, AND adjusted the doors. Now there's no more noise and no more frost. This company and the people who work for it are top notch. You will be extremely satisfied with their (as the name says) professional service.
