We own a house in New Orleans and were turning tenants over, they were very quick to schedule an appointment, on time to the appointment and very professional. Everything was fixed within the time allotted and done very well. I will definitely use them again.

Mr. Fix it was great ! The technician was on time, very polite and exceeded my expectations on the work that I needed to be done. I would most definitely use mr. Fix it again and am going to tell everyone I know about them. If anyone needs any kind of service on their home or property, this is the way to go !

Carpenter was efficient at every aspect of the job - troubleshooting, recommending & identifying solutions, and installations. He even completed the project when I fell ill and went to the hospital, and secured the property for me when he left...much more than HE bargained for. And I was grateful. Efficiency, proficiency, trustworthiness, integrity: four words I would use to characterize my experience with Mr Fix It.

I am extremely pleased with the final outcome. I needed some old rotten steps to my attic replaced. I recently purchased an old craftsman in Mid City and the attic door and steps were so old that they crumbled when stepped on. I went to Lowes and purchased a new attic door/steps kit and brought it home. Luckily my sister referred me to Mr. Fix it for install. I called and spoke to Bret and he was very nice and helpful. He discussed the pricing and I scheduled him to come out. John and Jodi showed up on time and were very nice and professional. They got right to work and 2 hours later the job was done. They did such a phenomenal job that I asked them for a quote to put in a vent in my bathroom and since they left I found a screen door I would like them to replace as well. To say I am beyond thrilled to have found Mr. Fix it would be an understatement! Since buying this fixer upper I have acquired many horror stories of bad contractors, electricians and roofers. I know how hard it is to find good, reliable, trustworth and affordable companies to provide repairs to my home. I have finally found my go to company now.

Jody did the service and he was extremely polite and did the work very fast.

All of the work was high quality. The contractor was extremely professional and the business owner worked with us on schedule and cost. We were very pleased.

Initially I called for a handyman job to fix a leak in the bathroom and repair damaged spongy flooring near the tub. I wasn't really surprised when it turned into a partial bathroom remodel. The entire sub floor had to be replaced as well as the floor tile, part of the tub surround tile, plumbing fixtures, and tub (it had a bent corner that was puddling water). Bret was very patient with me as I was not prepared for what this turned into. He was excellent to work with and very understanding, nice person. The workers I met, Jody and Steven were super nice and knew exactly what they were doing. I trusted their work completely. I also think the pricing was fair. There is only one aspect of this job that could have been better and that is that it took a longer than was needed by a day or two.

Bret was very responsive by phone and text, and communicated often and clearly. We had a slight mis-communication about timing which left them waiting for us for a few minutes, but it wasn't a big deal. The employee who actually did the work was professional and friendly (he let my little one watch the whole process and answered his questions). We did have to pay the 2-hour minimum for about an hour of work, but Bret offered to credit us the next time we used them and also didn't charge us for the glass. We'd definitely use this company again for other work.

Danny and Brett were great. Brett got me in quickly as the ceiling fans in my bedrooms were broken and the heat was oppressive! Danny was phenomenal. Both ceiling fans were hung by a previous owner in an EXTREMELY non-conventional way, making the switch out very complicated. They could have just told me that I had to go with the simple but more expensive solution, but instead, Danny took the time to figure out an alternative solution that, while it took longer to complete, was less expensive for me in the long run. He was completely professional and friendly, cleaned up completely after himself, and was a delight to work with. I would definitely recommend Brett and Danny if you have household repairs that need done!

I first called and talked to "Mr. Fix It" Bret Gervais. When he answered the phone I felt as if I already knew him. We talked & set a time. He was so chipper & understood what was happening. Richard arrived on time & we walked through the house while I pointed out all the problems. OMG! He was so understanding & easy to talk to. He left & called back saying he could be back here in an hour. I received another call when Richard was at the store & wanted to know what color handle I wanted for the toilet! That was great! I've never had a handyman ask what I wanted....they would just replace with whatever. I definitely will use Mr. Fix It again. I was extremely pleased & I will refer them to my friends & family with no hesitation.

We moved into an older home that had been previously rented out for several years by another couple. There was a lot of things that we aspired to do to help make our house a home. However, because of our work schedules, it was very hard to accomplish everything we wanted to. After some research, we decided to have Mr. Fix It come out to see if they could help us tackle these various tasks. They went above and beyond to help us get everything done! From the first phone call, we knew we were in great hands. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They were able to answer all of our questions and the work that was completed was very high quality. I would recommend them for any job, large or small!

So glad to have found this wonderful new home repair service when I responded to an ad for this company. Visited their website and was impressed with the scope of work they provide. I emailed them and received a call back the next morning. A written estimate for repairs was provided and an appointment set up for the work. The service person, Mr. Richard, was awesome! He was quite familiar with what needed to be done and did a very professional job! Another person joined him in the afternoon to assist with the doors removal. They kept and left the work area clean, were courteous and again, professional! I love finding companies that do an incredible job and Mr FixIt is exactly that! They did a first class job and while it was not inexpensive, I feel that the job was fairly priced.
