This is the second time I used them for tree removal. Great service and price. I would recommend them to anyone.

Professional! I interviewed 8 people for this job. Most were clearly incompetent or way too expensive. I am so glad I hired him. He came to my house and explained in great detail all the ins and outs of the problem with the branch, the tree it was on and the surrounding territory. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I had lots of anxiety about this job because the branch was huge and in a very inconvenient place. In a recent tornado level windstorm, it had cracked just where it came out of the trunk in such a way that made it clear, the next heavy wind and rain storm would cause it to break off and fall on a neighbors fence. When he came, on the second day after I called him-- on Sunday morning!--he and his crew introduced themselves in a very friendly way. Now here's the best part: to get to my job, he had to go through a neighbors yard. The lady who owns the house, came out, he introduced himself and began pointing out to her things about her trees in her yard she did not know. She had several branches rubbing against the house which he cut for nothing! That's right, nothing. Just simple courtesy. The job itself was done efficiently and quickly. Clean up was perfect. The cost was half of what the "best" service wanted. Would I hire him again? Yes, in a minute. I feel I lucked out with this company.

The Louisiana Tree Company was very professional and thorough. When the crew arrived each person came up and introduced themselves to myself and my spouse. The owners reviewed the work we discussed to have completed before they began the job. Each person in the crew knew their job and went straight to work. We spent a great deal of time learning what needed to be done to treat carpenter ants and termites which infested multiple trees. Their knowledge on all topics was extensive and helpful. They were even able to salvage an ~ 150 year old pin oak that we feared might have to be removed. The tree is huge and quite beautiful. Because the job was so large it took a complete day to trim and raise all of the trees and they worked non stop to complete the task. They chipped all of the debris from the trees and as we requested, they left the chippings for us for later use in landscaping. As they worked they kept up with clearing and chipping the debris. All areas they worked in was cleaned meticulously when they completed their work. They even cleaned the roof of our house from debris that was there before they started. In a nutshell, this is a very professional company and not only will we use them again, we will recommend them to anyone needing tree work on their property. We thank them for a great job.

Anthony with Louisiana trees was very professional they removes 2 deas trees from each side of my house the price was excelent and they evn trimmed up my other trees in fron of my house which was a nice supprise. I will definately use them again in the future.

The crew went right to work as soon as they got there, and the tree came down limb by limb without any damage to the surrounding properties. I stayed with them the first day, the second day I left them alone at the house, when I got home the yard debris was cleaned-up, the stump was ground and the gate was locked. Very impressed!

Provider did good enough job; howeve not punctual about appointment or returning phone calls. I spoke with him on Friday about a job at our church and he was supposed to call tpday and make an appointment to come see the tree and give us an estimate. THe day is almost over, and I havn't heard from him. He was supposed to cut my sister's tree on Saturday at noon. She did not hear from him and is yet to see him.

I was told they would go to the first house on the south shore by Friday (I called on a Tuesday). Then they would come to the second house the following week. I asked if they would call me with times so I could meet them at each home. They said they would and I have never heard back from them. I spoke to the man on the 3rd of June is now the 17th of June and he has never contacted me to say he would not give an estimate or needed more time or anything.

This was an incredibly huge job. They were definitely the right people for the job. Robert was very knowledgeable and everything was done by the book. When Robert came out to look at the trees, it was easy to see that he loves trees and loves his job. He made an assessment of the health of the trees and gave his recommendations. After seeing the condition of my neighbor's tree, he felt that work needed to be done there to secure the safety of my home. He spoke with my neighbor directly. I had the estimate within hours and the insurance papers were emailed to me the next business day. They showed up for work the day they said they would. There were no gaps. They were there everyday until the job was complete. I have pets and they showed a great interest in working with me so that my dogs could access the yard when possible. The crew was very professional, polite and respectful. Safety of the crew was paramount. as well as safety of my home. Communication with me throughout the process was impressive. Anthony did a great job in letting me know what was going to happen and keeping me up-to-date with the progress. Also, all of my phone calls were either answered or returned in a prompt fashion. Everything was done as promised. Robert even cut some small pieces from the larger tree for my daughter to use in an art project, as I requested. I could not have asked for better service!

They faxed me a copy of their insurance. They had to protect two homes in order to do it. They actually asked for permission to get on my neighbors roof to make sure all of the debris from cutting was off. They made sure everything was the way it was before they arrived. They were also on time.

Was very prompt and were able to come out the next day for estimate and to do the required work. Very professional and was able to get the job done quickly which we needed for our insurance company.

They did a really good job, it made my yard look a lot better.

It went very well. Everyone was personable and offered advice for maintaining the remaining trees on my property. If they thought something looked like it might be a problem in the near future (i.e. overhanging branches as squirrel launch points) they removed it. And Robert price matched... if he was outbid for something he matched it! All I had to do was show him the competitor's quote as proof.

I cannot tell you how much I was impressed with their professionalism in doing their job as well as the friendliness and courtesy of those four workers (one owner, one climber, and two helpers). The company name is R and J Tree Service and Robert (the owner) included both his License # and and quot;Insuredand quot; on his business card along with a BBB symbol. They schooled me on what was best for the health of the tree in recommending where to make the best cut on my lace-bark elm and why. Also, the climber (Cody) had to go straight up my pine about 30 ft or so to get into the branches and reach the two I wanted removed; but while he was up there, he went through all the branches and removed any deadwood and stumps of branches that had fallen. They could not have been more accommodating. When I asked Cody about the extras, he replied that he routinely trimmed up the obvious deadwood in trees because of the dangers to innocent homeowners that could be struck by falling branches unsuspectingly at some point in the future. What a great answer!! A worker who does a little extra in anticipation of avoiding a potential danger to someone else in the future! You don't see that very often nowadays. This group was exceptional in every way and I would recommend them highly to anyone.
