Due to the circumstance of severe damage from the same hurricanes that devastated Lake Charles and so much of the surrounding areas ( the same that caused my damage ) it took a while but... during the time it took I was constantly being contacted to let me know I wasn't forgotten and they would get to me as soon as they could. I always replied with something like, I want my repairs done but I have a house I can live in, my damage was cosmetic. I wanted them to know I was more interested in those in greater need to be seen to and knew they would get to me when they could... and they did. The only thing I can say is a negative is I no longer get to talk to Liz, she would always be the one calling me with the updates. She's a sweetheart. There were a few material hiccups but with all they were dealing with it was understandable and no big issue. They got here, were so friendly and kind, got the work done and we were good to go! I highly recommend this company.

The overall experience with Hollier's was quality service and professionalism. The products I purchased was insulated siding, soffit and fascia, weather lock windows, and seamless gutters. I could not be more pleased with everything about the company. The craftsmanship of the workers, the safety measures, the professionalism of everyone involved. This is the kind of workmanship and quality I would have expected in the older days. They have true pride in their work. I could not be more pleased! Thank you Hollier's, Wanda Williamson

Horrible! Hollier's did a shoddy job and when I asked for repairs to their defects or a refund they attempted to file extortion charges against me!! Seriously, Wayne and Angela Hollier first tried to bully me and yell at me then called the police! If you want a crap roof and possibly to have false charges filed against you, they are the ones. These people endangered my life by not correctly reinstalling my GAS furnace and water heater vents. Additionally, their crew could not drive nails flush so I had holes in the brand new shingles the day they finished. Never again!!!!!

The shingle installation went very well. The installation of the skylights, however, was unacceptable. I have had to file a formal complaint against Hollier’s Specialty Roofing, Inc., with the Better Business Bureau. Shortly after my filing, I began to look at reviews of this business from other consumers. Intetestingly, I discovered similarities between their experiences and my own. One complaint about this business seems to show that their customers are forced to make repeated requests for repair of defects in workmanship as I have done. A second complaint, similar to mine, is that Angie Hollier—Owner/Operations Production Manager—operates by being extremely aggressive with customers, in my case, to the point of threatening to submit a small unpaid balance ($750 withheld for damages) to a collection agency. Finally, I completely identified with the comment in one review that states, “This company prefers to bully their customers instead of make good on their word.” In fairness to Hollier’s Specialty Roofing, Inc., I sought them out to perform my roofing job. The majority of their work was excellent; however, their total abdication of financial responsibility for damages that their installers caused during the skylights installation is incomprehensible. What could have been a job performed to the complete satisfaction of the customer has become a nightmare that has continued for over five months so far. I was forced to pay for necessary repairs at my own expense for $625. I immediately paid the remaining balance of $125 to Hollier’s. I would never want anyone to experience the grief and treatment that I have endured, and I would NEVER recommend Hollier’s Specialty Roofing, Inc. to anyone!

The roof was put on, and looks really good. As far as the quality is concerned though... only time will tell. My problem with the service is that the workers showed-up without a foreman to supervise them. That would be easy to overlook though if I could understand any of them, and they could understand me (not speaka english). As a result, they drove their truck into my neighbor's yard, making ruts - which we asked three times prior to the installation for them NOT TO DOt. We called to complain, and got a female who said she was the owner. She seemed defensive about the whole situation, and probably because she no idea what what she was talking about. She didn't realize the foreman did not show up that day. Instead, she said the foreman was there. Anyway... after someone showed-up to supervise the project, things got back on track. I rated responsiveness a "D" because once the salesman got our money, he never wanted to talk to us again. I think this is generally a good company, but I just think they need to polish-up on their customer relations skills.

They were absolutely superb. I would 100% recommend them to anybody. I like everything about them. Their salesperson was excellent and their follow was good. The actual people that came to do the work were also very polite and on time. They did what they said they were going to do in the time they said they were going to do it. Each person that I spoke to was very knowledgeable about their particular job and just kind, polite and respectful. Their products were good value. They were superior products so you have to pay a little bit more for it.

We didn't like the fact that both parties had to be present during the purchase or picking out the product. You know already that each party is going to mainly agree thats what you want. It takes quite awhile to get the product in once you order. Or it seems t hat way. Its that or it takes awhile for the men to come out and install. Once they get out to the location they work fast. It was put up in a day and a half. They need to come back out and do some more caulking. But other than that. Were pretty happy with the product. Why not so happy for not recommending? It just takes forever getting them to get out getting it installed. If your not in a rush. Then by all means. We recommend them. If you don't care if you have to have both parties present. We recommend them. The sales man was very nice that we had.

I called this company for a quote to install gutters on my house. I gave them a time when I would be home. They asked if I was married, which I am - they said that my wife and I must both be present before they would come out. I said that it's just gutters and my wife doesn't want to deal with that. I was told it was company policy and they refused to come out to provide an estimate unless we were both present. I told them I would call another company.

Their customer service is amazing. The pricing is very reasonable.
