Description of Work: Aire Serve did a thorough seasonal cleaning of my 2 air conditioning units. Another provider, whom I found to be inadequate had suggested they could clean the united at a cost of $499/each (which I knew to be high). Aire Serve had an Angie's list special for $85/per unit. | |The technician spent good bit of time outdoors, in the attic and testing air flow and temperature on each floor. I showed him the receipt from other provider I had had due to heat upstairs despite AC running 24/7. I mentioned my concern that I had recently had my highest Entergy bill ever of $842. He checked may things and explained why that he felt replacing a part would improve the situation. The info about service and pricing was all on an iPad that I could read. I considered - for a moment- calling the other guy back (he was sent by Home Warranty co) - but decided that Aire Serve was honest, hard working and most likely to improve the comfort level in my house in August. | |I authorized the additional work and it was completed within 1 1/2 hrs and within 2 hours my upstairs was noticeably cooler and the A/C stopped running 24/7. It has cooled properly for more than a month now - in heat of the summer.

Description of Work: I had to get a new condenser unit. | |I called at 4:00 p.m., and the technician came as planned at 8:30 the next morning. He determined that my condenser needed to be replaced, and by 2:00 p.m, I had AC again! I was very pleased with the service and will use them again if needed.

Description of Work: The Aire Serv techinician performed a thorough ac check/tune up. I was very impressed at the high level of attention paid to each detail. The report was discussed and I requested a follow up visit for possible overall improvements. The second visit was made by the owner who looked into what could be done and recommended that no changes be made. No attempt was made to sell me anything. I have already recommended this company to others and will use their services in the future.

 + -1 moreWhen I first called Aire up, we set up an appointment for the following day. But then about 30 minutes later, Aire called and said there was a tech nearby if I would like him to come by today. YES! Timmy Armbruster was the Aire tech who showed up. He was very professional, friendly and courteous. He answered every question I asked and explained everything he was doing. Considering it was 90+ degrees outside, it was a very pleasant experience! And most important of all, my ac is working now! I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future!
Description of Work: Aire showed up the same day I called and after checking the ac and talking with me, added freon and cleaned the coils. Spend about 2.5 hours on the job.

 + -1 moreWas very pleased with the services provided. Technician arrived promptly and was very courteous. Thoroughly checked the furnace functions and found a capacitor going bad causing the blower motor to use more amps to run. Showed me the readings on the electrical tester, before and after. He replaced the capacitor and provided detailed answers to all questions. The service rep then checked and cleaned the outside a/c unit and found no problems, but identified a noise with the outside unit which is likely to create a problem at some point later. The issue did not need attention right then. Even gave an estimate on how much it would cost whenever the repair should be needed. I would use Aire Serve again without hesitation.
Description of Work: This seasonal heating and a/c check was part of an Angie's list Big Deal offer. The cost reflects the Big Deal price and the cost of a replacement part.

 + -1 moreThey actually reached out to me when I bought the big deal, so they were very proactive and fast. They were very professional, they showed up on time, and they called to tell me they were coming. They worked very, very cleanly because sometimes it is a messy kind of a job. They were not pushy and aggressive about the estimate they gave me for the additional work. They didn’t tell me that I have to get it done immediately but told me that it was not an emergency, and that they would get back to me with the price, which they did in a very timely fashion. I am going to follow up with them on that soon.
Description of Work: I used the big deal for Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning. They did an inspection and cleanup / maintenance of my furnace and my air conditioning units. They also gave me an estimate for some additional work.

 + -1 moreAfter they finished in the attic he came down and explained that everything was fine and talked about the age of the system, and explained that it was still working well. He explained how ed thermostat worked. Then he went outside to check the outside unit and came back in and explained everything. He said everything was working fine.
Description of Work: They performed a check up on the A/C and heater system. It took about one and one-half hours but they were thorough and explained everything in detail.

 + -1 more=Service was excellent. 1 day response time to and email that I sent in regards to service. I used an Angies Big Deal coupon for the intial selection of service. They were able to send a technician out the following week. The Technician (Timmy) was very knowledgable and friendly, neat and tidy. He explained how my AC and Furnice worked and was very detailed in his overall inspection of the units. Most technicians spend maybe 30 mins tops on my units. He spent a good 2+ hours. I will use them in the furute on a twice a year basis. Great Job and Good Work.

 + -1 moreGreat service. The receptionist that booked the service was professional. The technician was prompt and did an excellent job. He described flaws in our heating system that were leading to some of the uneven temperatures in the house, corrected one of the problems, and described what we need to have done to improve the system in the future. He did a lot during the service visit and cleaned up after himself, so when he left it was as if he had never been there (except for the serviced heating/AC).

They always call me back quickly when I call their answering service and are on time when they say they will come. I recommend this company. One day, when we have to change the whole system, we will use this company.
Description of Work: Had the whole A/C unit inspected and cleaned. (Inside the Attic and the outside units). On two other occasions earlier this spring, they came and repaired the outside units. Our A/C units are old. We're trying to maintain them as long as possible before having to get new ones. Aire Serv has been really great about coming the same day when we call. We just had the units cleaned because they seem to be having a hard time keeping up with the HOT temps outside. The technicians were very kind about having to go up in the hot attic in July. They made a list of things we should have checked out in the fall when we have the next service, and thouroughly explained it to us.
