Alllen, the technician, did a wonderful job. He was punctual, courteous, and professional. We take our shoes off indoors, so I liked the fact that he put on some disposable shoe covers when he came in. He was also careful to take them off when he went into the attic, (which is a mess) and put them back on when he came down. He diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate of what it would cost to fix it before doing any work. Even after the work was done and I had paid, he went outside to check on the condenser. Aire Serv is lucky to have him. If I need more work AC/heating work done I will call them again.

Aire Serve was extremely prompt and professional in taking the order and conducting the diagnostic. They charged a diagnostic fee as stated in there web page and quickly emailed two well organized quotes with separate prices for different options, as requested. Since their price was higher than the others, we did not hire them for the repairs.

It went well. We like the people who work there. Their price is fair. They have great quality work. Everything is great with them. We plan on having a contract with them.

One of my two a/c units quit working over the weekend. Monday morning I contacted Aire Serv. I received a phone call back in less than hour and was able to get an appointment that afternoon. Due to rain later I was contacted saying there might be a delay. Their office remained in contact with me thru out the day. As it turned out my appointment was on schedule. The inside unit and outside unit were inspected. The outside unit needed freon (again) and started cooling right away. Both of my units are old and will need to be replaced. We asked Aire Serv. to give us a price to replace both units inside and out and plan to have the work done when the weather is cooler.

THE TECH, PHILLIP, WAS COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL AND HARD WORKING. THE UNITS WERE DIFFICULT TO ACCESS BUT HE DID NOT SHIRK FROM THE TASK. WHEN THE PROBLEMS WITH ONE OF THE UNITS BECAME TOO DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH ALONE HE CALLED THE OWNER WHO CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY TO HELP FINISH. THE EXPERIENCE WAS COMPLETELY POSITIVE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED BUT I DID RECEIVE A REFUND. I RATED THEM A (C) BECAUSE I DID GET A REFUND BACK.

As stated above, we were so impressed with this company's response to our a/c going out was amazing:-) We then purchased a service contract and Allen was sent to do a clean and check. Additionally, Ralph (the owner who came to our rescue initially) discovered that our electric hot water heater had been incorrectly installed and offered to fix it at no cost! If THAT is not above and beyond expectation, nothing else is! Sure enough, after completing the work on the a/c- Allen then discovered that the plug to the heater was for a dryer and it had burned up. Allen offered to go to Lowes for me to get the proper cord-I cannot recall such courtesy ever being extended us as with this fine company. Allen was extremely kind, courteous and professional. I highly recommend Aire Serv!

The technician (Phillip) was very professional and called ahead of time. He completed the work and cleaned up the area afterward. I am pleased with the job.

Our out side a/c unit on our house decided it wasn't going respond to the inside unit. i called and talked to Nancy, very sweet, who booked me first the next morning. They would have come out the same day but it was a deluge out side and my unit isn't under any cover. They came out and found that the time delay on my old unit had gone out, Philip said he could jump it and replaced the old ugly analog thermostat that had a built in time delay. The first two he pulled out the box were faulty, but he was patient and persistent and the third one out the box was the charm. He added freon to that old set and even replaced my clogged filter with a spare i had in the closet for me. We didn't get charged for the extra work on the first two faulty thermos he hooked up so i am more than happy with the price as it was very fair. This company even uses shoe protectors to keep my carpet clean. i am very happy and will use them for my ac needs from now on!

One day last week, I noticed that the compressor was running on our a/c, but nothing was coming out of the vents. Based on Angie's List reviews, I opted to give Aire Serv a call around 4pm as I had given up on the unit "correcting" itself. The phone was answered by a very nice and polite lady named Nancy. She was so sweet and placed me on hold for a brief minute while she contacted the technicians. They were tied up on a job, so the owner himself-Ralph Prestenbach, (who was also on a service call) said he would come to me after that job. He arrived at 6PM and worked diligently on the motor. He is extremely knowledgeable, polite and friendly. We were so pleased with the experience, that we purchased a service contract that day. We feel we have FINALLY found a great company to handle our needs. In our 20 years in our home, we have used a few companies, but none have impressed us as Aire Serv has. A/c is working like a dream:-) So nice to know that good people are still out there!

Our downstairs a/c unit was not blowing cold air. This was in April and it was not going to get any cooler so we asked him to do service check on a/c system. It was for my dad's house and it hadn't been done since before he died in 2009. The repair guy checked the central systems for both upstairs and downstairs and found that the fuses in the outside and inside systems were either blown or about to blow. He changed all the malfunctioning fuses. It took about an hour for him to do all the work. He did an excellent job. We have not had any problems since.

I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with Aire Serv! This was a great experience from start to finish. I called this morning, and the lady on the phone said she could have someone come out today. She said she would call when they were on their way. She called sooner than expected (which was great) because the guys finished up early with their other job. Timmy and Allen arrived promptly. They figured out the problem right away and fixed it in a timely manner. They were extremely knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied customers. They made sure everything was fixed and functioning properly before they left. Timmy explained some things to us and told us how we could try to keep the same situation from happening again. I also really appreciated that they took care to clean up after themselves and to try to prevent any messes from happening. We have found an AC/Heating company that we can really rely on. We will be sure to have them take care of our AC/Heating needs in the future!

our landlord uses aire serv. So, I have to say the price is a guess. My landlord paid for everything. AND, the repair men were out within an hour to do an assessment. They finished up quickly and had an estimate for completion and charges immediately. They came today to start the repairs. They started at 7:45. 15 minutes early. They gave me an estimate that they would be finished around a certain time and they almost made it. I have an old house and they had to go get a part they didn't anticipate. Even still they were done within 30 minutes of the time they gave me. The repair folks were professional, courteous, and let me know about what they were doing as they did it. One guy noticed I have cats and warned the other workers. Fabulous!! They were not there but in a hotel due to the heat but the workers took time to notice food dishes and toys. So great! Timmy Armbruster was the supervisor on site and he kept everything on schedule and asked everyone to check and double check all the work. They tested not only the a/c but the heat to make sure it worked, changed my filter and put in a new thermostat . I am so pleased. Thanks Angie's List and Aire Serv

It went great, and the price was really reasonable. The serviceman was very knowledgable and worked quickly to obtain the parts and make the repairs.

We are so very thankful to Timothy for his promptness and careful attention to our service request! He was an utmost professional and a master of his trade! Highly Recommended! Timmy Armbruster and Allen Combel are professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They did a thorough investigation into the rattle in my unit, diagnosed it, quoted me a fair price, then fixed it on the spot. I was hoping to have them run some new duct work into the master bedroom (quoted $250). They investigated the attic and noticed about 8' of extra duct and a blockage at the connection to the main unit. They fixed it and got cold air flowing at no extra cost - really went the extra mile.

Timothy pointed out that pumping hundreds of dollars worth of freon into a 20 year old system (which would likely spill straight to the ground), might be a waste of time and money. He suggested we consider replacing the unit. We agreed. He pointed out that it would be a hard, involved job, as most of our system is under a very low house. He was honest about what we faced and told us he would need his boss to come out to give an estimate. We said we would like that and were told they would contact us. Timothy left. 3 weeks later and we have never heard back. I have thought about calling them again to follow up , but I bristle at the idea of hounding someone to take my business. Don't feel like I got my monies worth, though. No maintenance was performed. Found another company who figured out a way to easily put in a new system without putting it under the house (a solution that will save lots of money and time).

Timmy and his crew arrived right on schedule and impressed us with their commitment to customer service. Our back room used to turn into an oven every time we turned on the heat, while the rest of the house remained an icebox, To fix it, the team had to crawl into some pretty tight corners of our attic and decipher our tangled duct system (installed by previous contractors). Timmy even rescued a bag of photographs long forgotten under some duct work. You could tell by the way the crew worked together that they have a lot of experience in the industry. They were quick and efficient, but the service didn't feel rushed. They really listened to all of our concerns and addressed them. They even talked us out of an unnecessary rewiring job we were on the fence about. In short, we will certainly use Aire Serve in the future. (In fact, we signed up for continued service with the company and our out-of-pocket expense includes their next visit.)

The crew who inspected and replaced my system was very competent. They explained what they were doing and why and made me very confident that I had selected the right company. They went to great lengths to clean up all of the areas they worked in before they left. I honestly could not be happier with this company's work. The crew of Timmy, Eddie, and Danny were courteous, respectful, and above all competent. It was a pleasure to work with all of them.

I had requested estimates from 2 different companies. Aire Serv and another company the other company never returned my request. My main problem was the wood holding up the unit inside was bent and rotting. The company also put the unit in on top of the old wood platform which was already 24 years old! I did not know all these things till a very nice maintenance man told me that I had better hurry and get that fixed before my unit falls or I would be paying for a complete new unit and much more! I was so impressed with Timmy when he came to give me the estimate. I told him about my prior experience and he assured me Aire Serv was not at all like that one and he certainly was more than right about that. Timmy pointed out and discussed with me the potentially hazardous problems he saw and what could occur at any time but he would be able to help me with so these things would not happen and could assure me it would be so secure that it would not be a problem in the future. Loose wires, non connections, air flowing problems, etc. He even saw a server problem with the electoral wiring outside and said he could fix that for us also. When they arrived, Timmy and his helpers Phillip and Eddie, they went to work right away. Timmy would explain what they were going to work on and would show me the problem and how they were going to fix it, an very nice added surprise of this companies care for their customers. Timmy, Phillip and Eddie were all very neat and clean, making sure to pick up after themselves, that all my stuff was kept clean and they each took great care (it was obvious) to not accidentally damage anything. I couldn?t be happier! They worked through lunch so they could get my heat back on as soon as possible but all the time taking care to get everything fixed so I would not have anymore problems. They did not try to sell me anything else but ?I? asked about their company yearly maintenance because I was so impressed by each of them and Timmy was delighted to explain to me their Silver Advantage Plan and all that it entailed. It was a great deal so I purchased it right on the spot. Couldn?t be happier that I now have a great company to look forward to working with twice a year and available when needed We need more honest and trustworthy companies and Timmy, Philip and Eddie showed me that this is still possible! It worked fine for a day then the heater would not come on. This time the owner came out immediately and checked system. Found bad inducer motor pressure safety switch. Replaced and checked operation. Switch is working properly at this time. This time we were charged for the pressure switch $302. 35. Warranty is 1 year for parts and labor. Because of the worker's and then the owner's promptness each call, we were without heat only about 1 1/2 hours. I liked their honesty and was satisfied with their work, so I decided to buy their 1 year Silver Advantage Plan, which entitles to 1 free check-up a year, and a discount if any new parts are required. I definitely recommend Aire Service.

Very professional and punctual. Only disappointment was serviceman forgot to replace fuse. The unit wasn't cooling so I checked and found the removed fuse sitting on top of the fuse box. Not a huge deal but at the same time important. Otherwise excellent experience. I would use them again and recommend them to others. Very courteous and respectful.

. Im super happy with the service. Timmy Armbruster was the service tech, he didn't just come out and fix the AC, he made sure it was working as well as possible , he was very thorough. He explained what he was doing and why. . I have never been more pleased with a business that I found on Angies List.
