In 2014 (6 years ago), Sunlight did spray foam insulation both in the attic and under the house of my raised 1900 shotgun. It's made a huge difference in my monthly costs and it's much more comfortable in here. The process getting it installed was painless and quick and I haven't had any issues with it at all. I recommend!

This is my second time using Sunlight Contractors. I used them the second time because they did such a good job the first time on my sons house. We have both I have seen a significant difference in our electric bilsl. Sunlight Contractors are professional fast, and you see and feel the results right away.

Sunlight Contractors is working in my home right now . We are doing a remodeling job throughout the entire home including all the floors throughout the home. Bathroom tiles will be demoed, bedroom floors ripped up and Sunlight Contractors is going to install brand new hardwood floors. Sunlight is also installing a whole house dehumidification system to improve our air quality. The open cell spray foam along with the whole house dehumidification system will decrease the humidity in our home and not only make our house comfortable but make our home energy efficient and reduce our energy bills. What I have experienced from sunlight already in our renovation project has been phenomenal. Sunlight has spray foamed our attic in the main house and guest house and we can feel the difference. Sunlight sprayed over 12,500 sq. ft of open cell Spray foam and Ira the owner of sunlight walked us through the process and made it a simple transition to transform Our home.

This was an amazing experience. As a first-time homebuyer, I was extremely nervous due to the cost of replacing a roof. Sunlight Contracting was not only super easy to work with and incredibly professional, but well-priced, especially for the job. They showed up on a Monday and finished that same day, replacing my crumbling shingles with architectural shingles on a 2,800 square foot roof. And they did it in just about 8 hours. Incredible. Ira kept me apprised of everything throughout the process and there were no surprises. His team even cleaned up almost every bit of scrap. They even cleaned up some messes I had left in the yard, and swept my back deck. I will definitely be calling Ira and his team at Sunlight Contracting for more work in the future!

Ira and everyone at Sunlight Contractors were Fantastic. Needed insulation for my new built Home in Waveland MS. Contacted Sunlight Contractors along with 4 other spray foam contractors. After talking to Ira regarding my needs he convinced me I wanted Spray Foam throughout the house and the underside of the home (Elevated Home). I was running on a tight time schedule and he was able to get the work done on my schedule. The crew was on time and completed the interior of the home in one day. Cam back on Friday and did the underside of the home with in 3 hours. The Crew was very courteous and very knowledgeable of the process. Even ensured the bathroom vents were run to an area that would allow them to vent outside to keep the moisture out of the home. As far as how well the insulation will perform is yet to be seen doo to the Mini Split A/C system is not completed yet but I expect it to be fantastic. I would highly recommend Sunlight Contractors for any of your needs.

The whole experience of working with this company was a pleasure from the start. The technician who gave me an initial consultation was extremely knowledgeable and helped me wade through the pros and cons of different insulating materials. I ended up going with spray foam because of the price and overall effectiveness. When I was ready to schedule the insulation, Ira, the owner called me back the same day to schedule me so everything could progress smoothly in the process of renovating my home. His team took the time it was necessary to make sure the job was done right and cleaned up after themselves. It wasn't easy, some of the rooms only had partial walls, other's had drywall but required multiple cut outs to blow in the insulation because of the fire breaks. I can already hear and feel the difference. The insulation has created a sound barrier that makes me feel like I can be alone with my thoughts. My house is peaceful even without a stick of furniture to perch on. Next step: sheetrock!

When work began, the crew was on time or early every day. By far some of the best service from a contractor we ever received. After the Job was done, Clayton came by to make sure the job was complete and spray foam was applied to every nook and cranny. The month after the job was completed, we noticed a significant decrease in our utility bills as a result of HVAC not working as hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. Been a great experience thus far with Sunlight. My consultation and outlined plan by both the onsite crew and Ira were very helpful in deciding to go with Sunlight contractors. They were able to start the work quickly and in two days finished up the job. It was some tough work by the crew with three different attic spaces and some tight spaces, but everything looks in great shape and I'm looking forward to enjoying a cooled off upstairs.

I like Ira and his crew was very professional. Boy be ready for some heat when that dryer is working! The only reason its not a perfect review is that I removed the old insulation under my house as prep to save a little money, and I wish they'd told me that leaving the staples in would cause some weird foam behavior / missed spots. I would have pulled those all out beforehand.

Sunlight Contractors is, quite simply, the best home construction/home improvement I have ever dealt with. They were responsive, attentive, and highly skilled. When you would call them, they either always answer the phone or immediately returned your call. They did some home repairs regarding roof areas with rotting and shingles needing replacement. It was flawlessly executed. Thereafter Sunlight Contractors recommended a number of improvements to enhance the air quality in our home. As part of this, they installed foam installation in the attic and it was a game changer. Additionally, they were extremely knowledgeable about air quality, filtration systems, and everything to do with creating as clean an atmosphere inside the home. For years, our termite contractor warned us about all of the old insulation in our crawl space that had been drooping and touching the ground. In crawling under the house myself to inspect and make a plumbing repair, I noticed that the wood on the subfloor and joists just looked wet. I could never find anyone willing to climb under the house to clean it up, so it sat like that for years. This year, I had to decide on a new termite contractor, but they refused to work with us until it was cleaned up. I hear so much about spray foam, so I decided to look it up. Sunlight Contractors had great reviews, so I decided to give them a call. Ira answered the call on a Saturday, and was eager for me to take moisture readings, so he could get an idea of the scope of the work. Unfortunately, the wood showed 23% moisture in some areas, with some visible mold growth, so it needed to be dried and cleaned before being sprayed. Ira sent Clayton out at my earliest convenience, and quoted me the same day. After a few discussions about treating the wood, I approved the work, and again, Clayton was out to get started the very next day. The crew came out, cleared all of the debris, laid a new moisture barrier and started the drying and remediation process. Ira communicated with me every day, even sending videos, photos, and moisture readings, which are now under 10%. They were never late, and never cancelled. Sunlight Comtractors won my business for several reasons. They were very prompt in coming out to assess my home. When they came out for an estimate, Clayton discovered very high moisture levels under my home that needed to be remedied before spray foam could be applied. Clayton and Ira both explained and put in writing the approach that would be taken both to eliminate the moisture and insulate the subfloor. Called Sunlight on Monday and to my surprise had Clayton come out that afternoon to give me a quote. I was not quite ready to do the job, I was going to remove ceiling sheetrock myself, but Ashley did a fantastic job keeping up with me for when my renovations were complete (which was over a month). I called on a Friday and let her know I was done and the very next Monday the team with Corey was here. They said they would be here by 9 am, but they were beyond punctual and was already starting around 8:30. All of the guys that were part of the spray team, even Clayton, Ashley and IRA were super friendly and showed an eagerness to get the job done right and that my satisfaction was guaranteed, and it was. From the first night, my attic was no longer drafty and did not match the 39 degree cold, it was closer to the 60s I would say. Super satisfied and I can't wait for summer to be able to spend time upstairs in my newly insulated attic/renovated room.

They were always on time and always provided updates on where they were in the repair process. Ira recommended that we dry the underside of the house and then apply a closed-cell foam to avoid any future issues. We are beyond pleased with the job that Sunlight Contractors did with our job. I can already tell a difference of the noise level in the house and we haven't even replaced the floors yet. My girlfriend's house is on piers and had a moisture issue due to prior leaking cast iron pipe. We started noticing the wood floors bowing in the living room. I found Ira and Sunlight Contractors on Google and had him come out to take a look. From the first person that came to do an inspection until the last guy stopped by for cleanup his company is First Class! Ira recommended that we lay a moisture barrier and wrap the house and dry it out using a huge diesel heater. When we started the drying process her subfloors and floor joists were 30% to 40% moisture. After several days of running the heater we got the levels under 10% and 12%. Ira's crew then sprayed the entire under side of the house with closed-cell foam at an average of 2 inches under the entire area: covering subfloors, joists and brick/concrete columns. We aren't finished laying the floors, but I can already tell a noise difference with the floors. I can't wait to see the difference it will make in utility cost. A few weeks ago, my wife and I realized that we were having some buckling issues with the hardwood floors in our house. I knew that the house had crawlspace moisture issues in the past, and decided to have someone come out and have a look. Sunlight Contractors was my first call based on the strength of their online ratings and user reviews. I called them late one afternoon and one of their guys, Clayton, was out the next morning. Clayton went under the house and took moisture readings and found high levels of moisture in my crawlspace. He called the owner, Ira, on the phone and they both described to me what would be required to truly solve the problem: drying out the moist wood with a large indirect heater and spraying closed cell foam insulation once the drying was complete. They had a detailed quote out to me that same afternoon. Of course, I got a second opinion, and it became immediately apparent that no other company I spoke with had such a strong grasp on the fundamental problem, nor did they have such a thorough plan for a solution. It was clear that Sunlight was the right choice. Once they started the job, Ira and crew were in frequent contact with me, letting me know when they'd be coming by, sending me pictures of the moisture readings underneath the crawlspace, and just generally keeping me up to date with how things were progressing. All in all, the job took about a week and I'm very happy with the job that Sunlight performed. After we checked around and felt like they had the best price for the right work, we called them, and they came out the next day to get started. Communication is always important with any company doing work for you. Ira does an outstanding job with communication and everyone of his employees has been on time since the start of our project. His 5 star reviews across the web gave me the confidence that I chose the right company for my mobile home's sub floor moisture remediation and insulation needs. My home is 12 years old and in that time has been through a move, house fire, and flood. It was never put back together 100% and this has led to extremely high moisture levels in our sub floor, >50%. Ira has a proven method to get the moisture content down and to seal out moisture and insulate in a one stop shop. We have stayed on budget even when some rotted wood was found. He was quick to have his guys take care of it. Our floors are currently being dried out and we look forward to our completed project.

I bought an older house and had high-end solid wood flooring installed in five rooms. Within a few months the new flooring in the three downstairs rooms was badly cupped. We found that it was due to open cell spray foam under the subfloor allowing moisture through. I have had some bad experiences with contractors and tradesmen, so I spent a lot of time doing my own research on subfloor insulation and spray foam in particular. I learned a lot. To remove the open cell and install closed cell, I had proposals from multiple companies specializing in spray foam. Sunlight was the only one that gave detailed and accurate information on everything to be done. Ira talked to me at length about the problems and what they would do. Based on my research, I knew their proposal was the only one that included everything needed to do the job properly. Ira was eager to explain to me every aspect of the project and answered my questions in detail. The written proposal included line item details and a separate list of additional work that may be needed with the cost for each item. After removing the old open cell they found that the moisture content of the wood was too high and the entire underside of the house would have to be dried with a special dehumidifier. That was one of the additional expense item listed on the proposal and I fully expected that one to be the case. Our raised home is not properly ventilated. From my own research, I knew the maximum moisture level of wood for closed cell spray foam and had already measured it in a few spots I could get to. (You can buy your own meter at Lowes or Home Depot.) Pleasantly, Ira reported that none of the other possible conditions existed. While the job was in progress, the crew arrived right on time every morning. Ira was there to oversee and inspect as the work progressed. He offered to show me the results as different phases were in progress or completed. The job was completed a few weeks ago and I am more than satisfied with the result. Of the multiple proposals, Sunlight was the highest quote, however, through past experiences and research, I know theirs was the only one that was accurate, complete and the only one that I could accept. Now that the project is complete I know I made the only choice I would have been satisfied with in the end.
