Mat and his crew are very professional. Everything went smoothly and I would definitely use them again.

I would give them top marks across the board. They were excellent. They were able to get in and get out and not break anything. They were reliable and professional. I am going to use them again. Next week they are going to plant a new tree there.

Matt seemed very knowledgable--came on time and provided an estimate. The work was done by Matt & 2 other helpers--they were thorough and felt reliable--expensive--but this kind of service generally is pricey. They removed all debris and left my yard clear.

Called for an estimate on Wednesday and received an estimate on Thursday. Scheduled the work for the following Wednesday. Work was completed in two days Everything was cleaned up No problems

Jacob stopped by our residence the day after we requested a quote and called to discuss the quote. He left the quote sheet in our mailbox with a breakdown of the work to be done. We called to schedule the work the next day and he was able to fit us in that week. The work was performed on Friday while my fiance and I were at work and was finished before we arrived at home. We were very pleased at the work, especially as all of the tree debris was cleared from the site. Jacob gave us a follow up call the next day to make sure we were satisfied with the work and didn't have any questions. He was very polite and professional. We will definitely keep Risk in mind for any future work.

It went well. It was 4 days of hard work. They had to get Entergy involved to cut part of the tree that was near the power lines.

I called for a quotation to have a tree removed from my property. They came to my home the same day and left a quotation in my mailbox. We scheduled a date for the removal of the tree but heavy rains prevented the service. They rescheduled for the next day and showed up with plywood to put on the ground to prevent their truck from destroying my yard. They arrived at the time they promised and did an excellent job.

My insurance company was requiring trimming back my neighbor's tree limbs. Based on the reviews here, I called and he had somebody go out to look at the situation and they quoted a price. They said the minimum charge was $400, for the equipment and insurance, etc. I agreed and they took care of it while I was at work, dropping an invoice in my mailbox (for $450), and I've mailed them a check (though I forgot to ask for the Angie's List discount they promise here - oh well). They did a great job - took the tree all the way to the fence line and cleaned up all debris. My neighbor was happy with it too. ' The best part for me was having somebody just come and take care of it without hassling me to meet up with them. I really appreciated how they work with busy people like that, and how promptly they took care of it (all done within a week of calling). Now hopefully my insurance company will be happy!

Matt came out on Friday and walked the yard examining each tree with us. Before he left he gave us a preliminary fee. He sent the formal quote the next morning. We set the date for the following Tuesday. Jacob came with the crew on Tuesday at 8:30. They cut down the small tree and ground the two four stumps. They cut the limbs out of the oak trees, corded them for firewood, hauled off all the trash and raked the yard. They completed the whole job by 2:30 that afternoon. Everyone in the crew was pleasant and professional. We were well pleased with all aspects of their work.

During Hurricane Isaac, my large (60') pine tree in the front yard was moving too much for comfort. As soon as things settled down after the storm, I started looking for a good tree removal contractor. I found Risk Tree Service on Angie's List, and the reviews were good. When I called, Matt (co-owner) came out that same afternoon and gave me a quote. The price was well within what I expected, and they scheduled the work for the end of that week. They came on time and did what they said they'd do. Jacob (the other co-owner) and his crew were very professional; each man had his assignment, and did it capably. The overall experience was very positive, and I'd definitely use them again. In fact, Jacob took the time to give us another quote we asked for. I'm a customer service fanatic, and this company is very customer service oriented.

We had a little trouble with him showing up on time for the original inspection. (I think this was because they were involved with a much larger job at the time and I can understand that.) However, everything after that went just fine. He rescheduled, inspected the tree, explained his findings and recomendations. He made a plan, followed the plan exactly, trimed the tree and hauled off the trimmings. I thought the price was fair, and the service was great. He did not make me feel like our job was too small for thier company. Will use them again if needed.

This is the second time we hired Matt and his crew to remove a tree on the property at our church in River Ridge. We are very happy with the service we received from Risk. We would definitely use them again.

Went very well. Owner of tree service went to speak to neighbors . Told them what he would do. Workers used neighbors' yard to cut limbs. No problems.

They removed tall palm trees or something like that, and they did a pretty good job of it. They were fast, and I liked them. The pricing was very good and reasonable. My only regret is that they could have done a better job of getting the stumps out, but the working conditions were very bad; both stumps were in the corners of a white picket fence, and it was just a place where they could not get to. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They showed up when they were supposed to and finished the job in the allotted time - safely.
