Description of Work: This was for appliance repair service.

Description of Work: The ice maker was not functioning, so I had used Accardo's before and called them. This took several days. Initially they had to test it to make certain that didn't just need to be reset. Next visit, diagnosis that it was the motor. Third visit, the parts came in and the ice maker was fixed. If your time is really tight, I don't know if I can recommend them. Their time ranges are long as appliance repairs vary from call to call. Sometimes you need a little patience to get it right. Will I use them again. Yes.

Description of Work: MY GE 48IN. STOVE NEEDED REPAIRS. ON THE FIRST TRIP THE TECH SAID HE DID NOT HAVE A WRENCH TO FIT THE STOVE AND HE WOULD HAVE TO ORDER IT FROM GE. A COUPLE OF MONTHS WENT BY AND AFTER PERSISTENT CALLS HE SAID HE WOULD GO TO LOWES AND PURCHASE A AUTOMOTIVE WRENCH TO DO THE REPAIRS. WHEN HE DID COME BACK I ASKED HIM IF HE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE ENOUGH TO REPAIR THE STOVE AND HE STATED THAT IF I ASKED HIM THAT AGAIN HE WOULD LEAVE AND NOT REPAIR THE STOVE. AFTER A COUPLE ATTEMPTS TO FIX THE STOVE HE SAID HE WAS UNABLE TO REMOVE CERTAIN PARTS AND THAT I NEEDED NUMEROUS PARTS TO REPAIR THE UNIT. ACCARDOS THEN SENT ME A LIST OF THE PARTS AND I ORDERED THEM FROM GE. WHEN THEY FINALLY ARRIVED I CALLED ACCARDOS AND INFORMED THEM. THEY SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR 5/20/15 AT 10. WHEN THEY DID NOT ARRIVE I CALLED AND WAS TOLD BY OPERATOR THAT THE APPT. WAS BETWEEN 10 AND 3. I AGAIN ASKED IF SHE WAS FAMILIAR WITH THE SERVICE CALL. REASON BEING THAT THE TECH SAID IT WOULD TAKE 5-6 HOURS TO REPAIR. I TOLD HER THAT I HAD ORDERED ALL OF THE PARTS THAT SHE EMAILED THAT I NEEDED FROM GE. SHE THEN SAID THEY COULD NOT DO THE WORK BECAUSE THEIR INSURANCE WOULD NOT ALLOW THEM SINCE I ORDERED THE PARTS AND NOT THEM. THIS WAS AFTER SHE HAD ALREADY SENT ME THE LIST OF PARTS THAT I NEEDED. WILL NEVER AGAIN USE THIS COMPANY AND WOULD SUGGEST THAT NONE OF ANGIE'S LIST MEMBERS DO THE SAME.

Description of Work: They came out to evaluate my washer and dishwasher, but neither one performed bad while the technician was there. I'm going to call them and have them service the dishwasher. It did not drain all the water from the machine

Description of Work: This review is based solely on customer service not quality of work as they did not do repairs on my washing machine. A technician came to my house 5/30/2014 and diagnosed that the rear tub bearings were bad on my washer. He called Frigidaire while at my house and left a message giving them my model number and serial number to see if the rear tub was under warranty. I thought that was great. I asked the tech if I owed for the diagnosis and he said no that the amount would be applied to the repair. When leaving, he said he would call back. That is the last that I heard from him. Last week, after being tired of waiting, I youtubed the model repair and disassembled myself to find that the shaft was seized up in the bearings and replacing the rear seals, tub and spider arm would not be cost effective as opposed to buying a new machine. It is now 6/23/2014 and I bought a new machine this past Saturday. Like I said I am not rating the quality of their work. I am upset that the company didn't bother to call me back and say that they never hear from Frigidaire, they didn't feel like fooling with the repair or whatever. What kind of customer service is that? I don't understand. It would have taken about 60 seconds to call me and let me know what the status was. In my opinion there is ABSOLUTELY no reason to blow a potential customer off! None! If you don't like the rating, be more professional and call people back. It is common courtesy and good business practice.

Description of Work: Fixed my oven for me. Turns out the repair guy was actually the owner! They really care about providing great customer service. Great service at a reasonable price. Will call them first next time I need appliance repair services!

Description of Work: Accardos Appliance called me about 30 minutes from the scheduled block time they were to come. This was five (5) days from my original call to set up an appointment. They claimed that there insurance company would prevent them from installing the part that I had purchased (note: the part was a plastic back assembley for a GE dryer. Description of Work: My refrigerator water dispenser in the door leaks when the ice maker pulls in water.

Description of Work: The selector knob on the washer didn't pull in or out. The little door on the dishwasher door that flips open to dispense the soap wouldn't flip. I was living with those two problems, but when the dryer konked out it was time to call in A Guy.

Description of Work: They fixed a burned out computer in my refrigerator that was making the freezer frost over and the fridge not work. Accardos had to order a new computer and harness.

Description of Work: The gas valve coils were not functioning causing the dryer not to heat. The technician corrected the problem.

Description of Work: The repairman quickly diagnosed the problem with our washing machine, replaced a few parts and had it working within 45 minutes.

Description of Work: HE washer began to leak; called Accardo X 2 (first time service reps in training out of town). Left message and Accardo returned call and scheduled appointment. Service man strongly recommended switch to HE Detergent; showed how to remove objects from ring.

Description of Work: Electric dryer not heating, spins but doesn't heat. This dryer is only 3 years old and part of an attached "stackable" washer/dryer unit.

Description of Work: My refrigerator stopped working. I called Accardo's and the nice woman who answered the phone said that it sounded like "the start and run relay" which wouldn't be too bad (cost wise), but that it could be the compressor which might be expensive. I asked if someone could come out soon as we were losing food. She said, yes, that morning before noon. The repairman (Neil) came around 10:30. He said that it was the relay and fixed it on the spot. I was impressed that the lady on the phone diagnosed the problem.

Description of Work: Accardos Appliance Parts & Service came out to repair my washer and dryer. I have had them back since to take care of some other problems as well.

Description of Work: When I called I was placed on hold for an extended period of time. Then I was told the company did not service the northshore area where I live.

Description of Work: Top rack of dishwasher was not moving smoothly, and dishes on top rack were not getting cleaned.
