National Air

It was easy to schedule, the technician called ahead to let me know when he would be there, and he worked quickly and cleanly. Always gives me peace of mind to have everything checked out before using it for the season.

Due to National Air being short staffed our first appointment was canceled but quickly rescheduled. They did great work, fast and efficient. We will use them again.

They completed their installation of the new unit. They were professional. Came out on time. I'm very pleased with them and I would use them again.

It was part of the maintenance package so they just charged me the service fee. I like that they're locally owned and they always get back with you.

Very professional. Very informative. Very fair pricing. Cleaned up very well....even hauling away all the trash to their dump. Thorough.

It’s been a good experience and they are a good company. I thought the price was decent. The work was high quality and they were very prompt and the overall customer service was excellent.

Went well - employee cleaned & checked. I paid additional to have him replace a switch that showed significant signs of wear. We still had occasional issues with A/C cutting out for a month, but problem seemed to resolve itself.

After the technician did not show up for the appointment on time, I immediately called Nat'l Air to inform them their technician had not showed for the scheduled time frame as appointed. The representative pretended as if she was confused about the appointment which was just made on Wednesday and begin asking for the same information I gave her on Wednesday. As she begin asking for the information all of sudden the phone became disengaged. She did not return the call but the tech afterwards. The tech was 35 minutes - 1-hour later. I refused the service and want a refund returned back to my credit card.

The problem was that I waited three days and finally racked them up as I said "I will blow you up on Angie's List if you don't get here. I waited three days and no one ever showed up." That was the only problem I had. When they finally showed up, everything was great and they handled it professionally. It was just that punctuality is an F. They're pretty expensive. I had to call them a few times before they call me back. It was good. They handled what I needed them to. I won't be able to use them again just because I'll be moving.

Check up went well and service person even left me with some recommended maintenance items to improve system efficiency.

It went pretty well. The guy did a really good job. They were really knowledgeable. One of the guys seamed a little frustrated when we tried to get more information from the office. They were professional.

Service was handled well and very professionally. They were flexible when we had to reschedule. The professional who came was friendly and knowledgeable.

The job estimate included everything. The technicians were here the next day and finished in one day. A couple of weeks late the company owner came to check the technicians' work, which he found to be complete and correct. I am very satisfied with the work and with the efficiency of the unit they installed.

Joshua came out and tested my freon which ended up being low. He was really informative and spent time discussing how it worked and why it might be the problem. We added some freon and we are waiting to see if this will rectify the problem or further action is needed.

I'm still dealing with them. They did not do the job that I hired them for because they found a larger thing. I had a leak and I called my home warranty people. They came in and put in Freon and then tried to charge me $400 to clean the coils. I said that's ridiculous, I'll call somebody from Angie's List and that's when I call National Air, to come out and do the little job that they said they were going to do, the AC tune-up. When they came out, they said, you do have a leak, you don't need a tune-up. You really have a major leak here. It got more en-valved and I would up having to get a new unit. It went from one thing to something a lot larger. It went on and on for about a week back and forth. They would come back every night to add more Freon so I could make it through the night. On morning, all the Freon was gone, that's how large of a leak I have. It was a major leak. The Friday before, I got the new unit. I'm still dealing with them because they have to come back. They did a little damage, not much, to the wall. You can't really see it but the owner, Roy, said he was going to send his men out with some little paste and repaint the wall. I'm still waiting to hear from him on that. So far, they've been very nice. I still didn't hear from him on cleaning up that damage that they did. Roy, said that he was also going to hook up the fan that was in the attic. He never did do that either. It's only been a week. I was going to give the man a chance to catch up. He's been out here an entire day, from about nine in the morning until about eight o'clock at night. It was a big deal. It was a whole system. He did do a great job installing a new system. They worked very hard and they worked all day. He did not have the highest bid. He had one of the lower bid. I had another bid that was $10,000. I did have other bids and they were from $10,000-$14,000. He gave a nice bid. The quality is all working. He took the new unit. He set it off the ground. He made it higher off the ground so it's not low to the ground. He hauled the old unit away and hauled all the old stuff away. They came out right away. When I was having problems with not having Freon at night, their initial worker who came out, his name was Joshua, he would come out every night to make sure I was okay. He was a very pleasant worker. He came out three nights in a row to put Freon in.

Timmy came and did such an excellent job I bought their special for the fall heating and the next spring check ups. Could not ask for a more professional, concerned and all around nice person and worker. I will ask for him specific on the fall heat checkup because he is a hard worker and cares about his job and company which is rare today! Hired him thought another company before several times and he worked just as hard then with the same values he brought with him to this company! Great job as always Tim! See you in the Fall!

Roy, the owner was out with in a few hours with many options to save us money. We purchased a Trane system and it was installed in three days. We are super satisfied with the outcome and would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs HVAC work done. A++

Never showed up, never called back after I was told I would be helped that day.

Went well. Their tech, Timmy, did a great job and I was impressed with his thoroughness and effort. Since it was during the summer, they were busy and missed my appointment. I had to call to reschedule.

Fine. The AC actually required a new piece of equipment and refill on coolant.

I've used National Air this year for two events. In April, they came to do a cleaning and maintenance service call on two units. Then in late July, they came to check out and fix a clogged drain pipe. I noticed that the overflow pipe on one unit was dripping constantly and that the drain pan was half full. The first call was disappointing. The technician complained about the heat, and left a big mess in my hallway. He charged me $250 to blow out a drain pipe. The problem wasn't fixed. The overflow pipe continued to flow. I called again and they send a second technician out the next week. This technician behaved professionally and left things neat and clean, but the problem still wasn't resolved. A week later, the third technician came. His behavior was professional and the problem appears to be resolved. However, he said things which just didn't make sense to me. He reported that my coils were very dirty on the evaporation unit in the attic (and he didn't clean them). It seems like coils should have been cleaned when I paid for a routine maintenance/ cleaning in April. He also told me the air filter I was using was "too good" and to replace it with a cheap 94 cent one. I was using (a Merv 11 Pleated Air filter at [*** Link removed ***] I'm not an air conditioning expert, but this advice seems on its face to be odd. For now, my air conditioner is working and the overflow pipe is no longer draining. I'm uncertain about the price or quality of the service. My overall rating is a C. I was pleased with the responsiveness and they did return twice after an initial failed attempt. Two of the three technicians were professional, but I'm not entirely happy with the process or the initial price. I think I will go elsewhere in the future for air conditioning service.

Tech performed normal checks and fixed a problem with my drain cutoff for no extra charge.

They came but they didn’t come on the coupon. We had to pay them right out.

I attempted to use this company because of the outstanding reviews on Angie's List. Initial inspection was on 6/16/16 by Joshua. Wrote up some issues and recommendations. Told us Roy, the owner was out of town until the following Tuesday, 6/21. Roy was suppose to contact us and do his inspection next. A week later, 6/28, I called and left a message. No call back. On 6/29 I called and spoke to Maria who told me she would find out what was going on and would call me by the end of the day. She didn't. Finally got an appointment set up on 7/7. A guy named Roland came out. He agreed with the previous findings and said he would write up an estimate for the work. Today is 7/31. I have called numerous times. Same story. They will get back with me. I also sent a text to Roland since his cell phone would not allow you to leave a message. No response. They obviously don't care about doing our job and have fail to provide any sort of customer service.

They were supposed to come yesterday to recharge the Freon in my AC unit. They wouldn’t give me a time window, but said they would call before they came. I spent all day waiting in the heat for them to show up, and they never did. When I finally got a hold of them, they said that they had messed up and couldn’t come anymore, but that they would come today first thing in the morning. Guess who didn’t show up again? Very unreliable and unprofessional service. Left me hanging two days, when I could have fixed the problem during that time with another company.
