National Air

The A/C technician was prompt and professional. The work was done in under an hour, and my A/C unit works better than ever.

The A/C and heating work went very well and delivered to results as promised. Cost was very reasonable. Workmanship was good. Service crews were punctual and cleaned up afterwards. It was easy to work with all the National Air staff. Based on my recommendations one of my relatives had National Air replace the A/C heating system and is very satisfied with the new system. I have recommended National Air to my friends, relatives and neighbors.

I have never had such a thorough job on my units. Added to that the technician was friendly and interesting. I will be getting them in again to do an upgrade.

National Air appeared as scheduled and performed all of the requested tasks at the price we had agreed upon. They were friendly, prompt, and professional. I would gladly use them again.

I paid $69 each for five 23-point home central air conditioner inspections and foam cleanings. I was expecting to have both my outside compressor and inside evaporator coils cleaned. Instead, only the outside was cleaned and I was talked into paying an extra $128 after being told my freon was low. I wasn't told how low, if it really needed it, or how it may have leaked out or if a repair needed to be made. I've had the inside evaporator coils sprayed with cleaning chemicals before, so I don't think the $1500 they wanted to charge to take the interior unit apart and outside to clean was necessary. As a homeowner who doesn't know all the details about air conditioners, I feel like these discount coupons were intended to draw me in, take advantage of what I did not know, and add to the bill. I doubt that I'll be able to get a refund for the coupons I have not used. I will be very cautious of using Angie's List again.

Technician arrived on time, and got right to work. He took his time, yet worked efficiently. I had concerns about noise issues, and he answered my questions honestly.

Overall this was a great experience. The technician came to the residence, introduced himself and asked us to explain the problem. He then looked at the unit in the home and then checked the unit outside. Found the problem and fixed and was out of the house with an hour.

They were terrific. They were so good that I recommended them to my company and now they use the. They really are good. They have always been quick and we have used them quite a bit at my work.

We had gotten several estimates, all very high. After checking for A/C repair on Angie's list, we called National Air. The representative arrived at the scheduled time...on time and very professional. I should say that we scheduled an appointment due to our own work schedules; I truly believe that they would have come the same day we called. The representative gave us an estimate, which was quite fair for the work to be done. After he left, we thought of a few questions we wanted answered and called the office. The lady on the phone was very pleasant, professional, and knowledgable. Today, the installers (Randall and Josh) arrived, on time and immediately began working. I was impressed with the care they took in not damaging walls, carpet, etc. They placed a plastic covering on the carpet for protection. Aside from a few understandable 'bumping' sounds in the attic, I barely knew they were in the house. At the end of they installation, they gave us the bill and it was right on with the estimate....no extra fees, no surprises. I cannot thank National Air enough for the cool air that we are enjoying tonight! I will definitely call them again should I need air conditioning repair in the future! Great work!!!

We bought two services from National Air. First, we called them out to do an inspection and cleaning. The serviceman was a little late -an emergency had cropped up- but it would have been nice to have been notified. A few weeks after the inspection, the outdoor fan stopped spinning. This was not a shock; we bought the inspection and cleaning because we were pretty sure the unit was on its last legs. We were just hoping it could limp along a little longer. We called them out again and they sent the same serviceman to our house, which I appreciated. He confirmed that the motor had indeed gone out, and he had a spare in his truck. He replaced the motor and in less than an hour we had AC again. We will likely call them out when we are ready to bite the bullet and get a new unit.

The National representative was very nice, punctual, personable. I called National because "Company A" who supplied the units to the house I bought in 2010 did not answer phone calls. The National rep cleaned the two units and told me the one was not cooling effectively and efficiently as it was leaking free-on. This prompted me to be more persistent in getting "Company A" back out since the units were only two years old. "Company A" sent out a rep who confirmed the free-on leak, but now I am waiting for that owner to come out to see why the new unit is leaking free-on.....Oh brother! It is 90+ degrees out there with no relief in sight! I was told by the "Company A" rep that the cleaning by National two weeks earlier could not have been a thorough job as vents were clogged and the overflow was overflowing (water coming down still). The National rep did tell me I had free-on leaking and that is what prompted me to try to get the original supplier of the HVAC system out.

Service was scheduled for between 9AM to 11AM. At 10:45AM I called and asked about it and was told there was a mix up. They asked what time would be convenient, I said right now. They apologized and said they could have someone come about 1PM. I said OK and about an hour later the serviceman showed up. I asked him what was he going to do. He said he was there to do a clean up and inspection. I told him the first service I signed up for was installation of the surge protector. He said he didn't have any with him but that he could go back and get one. Long story short he left and came back with one. I was most disappointed in the fact that the "inspection" took very little time and the debris left over from the installation of the surge protector was left on the ground in the back yard.

The service man (Nguyen) arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. All services were completed in a timely manner and he answered all my concerns. He was honest and told me that he did not see any problems with my system and he preformed all the maintenance that was needed.

The company called within a few days to set up a service date. They came out that same day. Very professional and courteous. I would recommend and use again.

I was very happy with them. They got back with me the same day I called them. They were here two days later. They showed up on time. They did everything they were supposed to do. They were very pleasant, and professional.

They called me to set up the appointment immediately after I purchased The Deal on Angie's List, rather than them waiting for me to call them. I have purchased different type coupons in the past and No one has ever called me to set up the appointment. They came out within 2 days and showed up right on time. The mechanic was so professional and nice. He did the cleaning and checking and didn't try to sell me anything else. I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know of needing an A/C-Heating company. I can say enough nice things about the lady on the phone and the mechanic. Also, they didn't charge me any extra for coming to my house which is in another town than theirs.

We talked about how my inside unit was leaning and I told him that the place I purchased it really did an awful job and nothing of what they said they would do. I asked if they could stable it for me and he said yes. I could call and set up a date, probably in the fall as they are very busy, and they would make sure it was stable. The inside was lest BTU"s than the outside and not a good thing to have but sense my unit was only 5 years old then I could wait till I needed a new one. He was very reassuring and that is needed in this day and age. I was very pleased.

I had expected bad news, but they were able to repair my system at minimal cost. All work done exactly as agreed, plus they explained every step and what I could expect next (new condenser soon) and ballpark how much it would cost. Outstanding service, kudos to Roy Calante and his team!

The whole process from beginning to end was efficient and professional. His crew showed up on time and worked nonstop. They first protected my flooring from any debris and then went up in the attic to remove the old equipment as well as the outside unit. After that the new equipment was brought in and installed. They were able to finish the two day job in one day. They removed all the old equipment and cleaned up everything. I can't imagine that it could have gone any better. The following day Mr. Calante returned to inspect the work , make any adjustments and answer questions. I would highly recommend National Air. I took several months to compare companies, equipment and prices. They were thorough, patient, not pushy at all and performed above what I expected.

The price was very reasonable. They did a great job.

National Air treats there customers like family. They truely are the best A/C and Heating company around!!!!!!
