National Air

My unit wasn't cooling and the thermostat was causing a delay and sometimes a failure in the unit coming on. I am aware of a slow leak and replaced the freon 3 years ago in the same unit. I'm trying to stretch the life of the 12 year old unit before the inevitable replacement. The technician was knowledgeable and discussed risks and rewards of various options. He also showed me the problem with the thermostat so that it was easily understood and I felt good about replacing it. I'm very happy with the service I received and will certainly call National again when I am ready for the big replacement. I initially called at 1:30 , and by 4.00 the technician had come and gone and my rooms were cool again.

Repairman was efficient and well pleased.

Technician arrived timely and was quick and efficient in his inspection of the HVAC system. Explained what he was looking for and how he would proceed.

My overall experience with this company is one that was great! National Air is effectively efficient and knows how to put the customer first! Outstanding job. The representative (Wen) showed up on time, patiently explained what service he would perform and the time it would take to complete the service. He was also thorough, professional and trustworthy (this I know because I had to leave him at my home alone : ). Upon completion of my work, Maria promptly followed up the next day to telephonically review the findings of this service and provide recommendations as needed. They did what they promised to do and I am pleased. I loved working with this company!!!! National Air rocks!!!!

National AIr was the 3rd company that we called to quote this job. Their quote was the highest of the three. We chose them based on their understanding of what needed to be done and their explanation to us, their consideration of various options for the scope of work to be done, the amount of time invested up front preparing the bid and their willingness to discuss the reasons for their recommendations to our insurance adjuster. The job was started and completed within the estimated time frame. Their workers were on time, on task, and well-experienced. Roy was accessible by cell phone when we had questions. After the job was completed, Roy met me on-site and walked me through the installation. All work that was quoted was completed. We feel that we received a good product that was installed correctly, is performing as anticipated and should last a long time. I would definitely use National Air again for HVAC service and installation.

I would recommend this company to anyone interested in replacing an AC unit or installing a new unit. The owner first completed a thorough walk-through of the house to be sure I would be purchasing the correct size, installing it in the best area, etc. He was very professional during the entire process and answered all telephone calls promptly. He went above and beyond expectations by not just being sure the unit was installed and operating correctly, but also for being a perfectionist with the aesthetics of the finishing work. Due to the style of the house, the work involved cutting through sheet rock in the ceiling to access the attic. His workers were prompt, courteous, and efficient. They not only finished the sheet rock, but framed and painted the opening. The outside unit was also placed on cinder blocks for stability and to look more appealing. The owner stopped by a few times to monitor the progress of the work. National Air's cost was comparable to other companies, but I know this company beats out all others because of its professionalism, expertise, customer service, and pride in the final product. I give it an A+ rating in all areas.

National provided excellent service in assessing my ancient gas heater as still being serviceable and made recommendations about how I might monitor the furnace for future deficiencies using a CO detector.

Scheduling the appointment was very easy. The company scheduled a time that met my work schedule. The serviceman called before he came as I requested. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. He performed the service in a timely manner yet did not rush. I will use this company for my ongoing maintenance of my units in the future.

In a day and age when so many contractors seem/are dishonest, NAtional Air is a nice example of the way it SHOULD be:-)

We took 7 bids for a total system change-out and chose National. It was an easy choice. Their price was excellent and their 'customer satisfaction rating' was excellent.. Their men were neat and courteous. They did some extra work that was not even in their bid, and did not even charge for it. They have a "no hot-spots guarantee" that no one else even offered. They measured and adjusted aif flow from EVERY register to get balanced air flow. We wanted either Trane or American Standard (sister companies) as they had the best Consumer Reports repair ratings, but still took bids from Carrier, Lennux, Rheem. Bottom line - we'd go with National Air and Trane again.

Initially, I met with Mr. Calante twice. On his first visit, he spent time listening to what I saw my needs were, and what my goal was in the cooling and heating of our home. With that information, he made a detailed assessment of the house, both the interior and the exterior. He briefed me on what his company would be able to provide and offered to return and present his conclusions and proposal. During our second meeting, Roy presented a detailed proposal of the work. His presentation was very informative. He spent a lengthly amount of time explaining everything to me and answering all my questions. I found Roy to be very much the professional with a strong ability to communicate his vision. At no time, did I feel pressured to purchase anything. Once the work was begun by his staff, I found Roy available to answer all my questions with his making periodic on-site visits. Upon completion of the work, Roy reviewed every aspect of his employees' work. Furthermore, he inserviced me on both systems. On the first day of work, his employees arrived at the agreed upon time, and thereafter each day until the work was completed. I found each and everyone of them to be conscientious, persistent and courteous. I was very impressed with their work ethics and strong work skills. At the end of each day, they left the house spotless. It was real pleasure to have Juan, Joel and Randall in our home. I would highly recommend Roy Calante and his team to you. Even though, the systems are now in the house, I know that my relationship with National Air is for the long-run as their commitment to continuing quality service is firm. I truly believe that you will be as impressed and satisfied with National Air as I am.

They were absolutely great. Nice, polite - the people on the telephone & the person who came out to my house - they couldn't be nicer folks. My heater is working so he must've done a fine job!

Very professional and I recommend these guys for your AC work, The air handler coils had a leak, so I lost the majority of my freon. They pull the old unit, R22 freon and replaced it with a new unit that could handle both the R22 and newer freon R440. They just need to switch out a small valve so it would work with my outside compressor. This save a bit of money since I didn't want to upgrade everthing just yet. They came out a few days later to verify everything was working correctly. This was a lot nicer than just getting a phone call to see if I noticed anything.

They responded promptly to my order. Schedule a visit. Arrived at the right time, calling in advance. Performed the work and left having accomplished what was requested in a neat and workmanl like manner.

They were punctual, considerate and prompt. I was very pleased with the service.
