It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went really well. They came out the very next day after I purchased the deal. They gave advice if you needed additional services. I have already recommended to others. He was very straightforward and very honest. For my point, I didn’t have anything else needed done, I wasn’t even really experiencing that may problems with my A/C unit, I just wanted to have it serviced. The company was very responsive. The guy was on time. I paid exactly what I expected.

Service was scheduled very soon after I purchased the Big Deal. Serviceman was excellent. I will call them again.

National Air was fine, it was average.

They did very well. I was overall pleased. They were on time and did what they said.

It worked out well. They answered in a timely fashion, showed up in a timely fashion, they did exactly what they were contracted to do and they left. It was perfect.

Provider went to wrong location due to a misunderstanding so the company rescheduled me for later that very same day. I was very happy with the inspection services and felt like he did a great job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. They came out 3-4 days after I purchased the Big Deal. There were no extra charges. They were great.

**Update - I am updating my review again based on the exceptional follow up by the main office person, Maria, who was out when I recieved my third call and had all of the issues. Maria called to talk through things, listended to my concerns, apologized for being out and for what happened, and generally cared about my satisfaction. While I still did have a negative experience the thirs time they were scheduled to come, the service actually performed was excellent - and I will say the follow up to make sure that an apology was issued and my experience ended in a more positive was was outstanding. While the fill-in I dealt with (when Maria was out) on my third interaction created a bit of a mess in the situation, Maria went above and beyond to reach out to me, have a detailed conversation, and ensure a more positive outcome. This has drastically shifted my thoughts on the situation, and I would again be able to recommend them for anyone who does not have a PTAC unit. Maria's professionalism and responsiveness was so high that I am mitigating the D/F level 3rd interaction based on my first two interactions and fourth interaction - which were with Maria - and raising them to a B overall. Original Review: Before purchasing the angies list deal, I called National Air to asked if they worked on PTAC units (The AC unit type I have). They checked and assured me they did, so I purchased and scheduled my appointment for the next time I was in town (July 3rd). A few hours after they were supposed to arrive, they called to tell me they didn't know they needed to schedule two people for the PTAC Unit job and they would get a second person to service the PTAC and be by later that day. At 7pm that day, they called again and we rescheduled for first thing Friday (July 5th). Then Friday, they called to say several people had called in and they wouldn't be able to get to my job. We rescheduled for my next trip to New Orleans, on July 18th. On July 18th, I received a call saying the company did not realize this was a PTAC and did not service PTAC Units. This - after several conversations where they assured me they did, and would need two people on the job since it was a PTAC, and after having cancelled twice before. I could not believe this, and expressed how - if this were the case - it should have been explained when I first called and that I wanted to speak to the owner. I then received a call back that they did have someone who could service PTAC's, but he was on a different job and the owner did not want to service PTAC Units anymore - but that they would pull him off to service my unit, given the situation. He did show up and service my unit a few hours later, and did a good job. However, I did have poor customer service in my third interaction (a fill-in office person), in which the impression was delivered that the owner randomly decided not to service a type of unit we had several interactions about previously.

Very professional and excellent service. My unit stopped cooling during a very hot spell on the day before guests arrived. I called them around mid-morning on a Saturday and explained the situation to them. About 2 hours later, National AIr called to inform me that a technician would arrive within the hour. Just this fact alone is enough to endear them. The tech should up 40 minutes later was very professional and friendly and remedied the situation. How could one not love customer service like this? I plan to use them from now on.

I bought a coupon for an a/c cleaning. I also asked that they measure the filter area as we are having a hard time finding the proper size. While they did the service, they did not contact me with the filter information or a follow up (this is a rental until).

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and it went okay. They gave me a sheet and told me it was okay, but they did not give me any readings. There were just check marks in the boxes.

I was planning on just making an appointment for the tune-up special but my AC decided to stop cooling. I called the next morning and spoke with Maria who was lovely and so helpful. I explained the situation and she squeezed me in for the next day between 9-1. She told me I would be notified 30 minutes before the technician arrived. The next morning Maria called and said technician would be there shortly. I was never so happy to hear the doorbell ring thirty minutes later. I explained the situation to him. He checked the filter and thermostat, then went outside to inspect and clean the condenser. He came back and told me I needed a new dual capacitor. He explained what it was and the cost. He let me know that I would get a 10% discount. He replaced the part and finally ~ cold air! Nguyen was my technician; he was very professional, courteous and friendly. He completed the job in a very reasonable amount of time. I was very pleased with National Air, Maria and Nguyen. I will definitely recommend them and use them again. Thanks for everything...I'm as cool as a cucumber:)

They did an OK job, but we had other issues with the air conditioner and wound up replacing the whole unit. They came out and they said, "You're coil is leaking and you're low on Freon and you need to call your warranty people, the home warranty people." So, that's what we did and National did a fine job. They're OK. I've used them more than once, but my wife just reminded me that they did not flush the core drain line downstairs and it plugged up later. There were no extra charges and they came out within days. They usually try to follow up. Their pricing is nice. I was not in here, my wife was here, and they were professional, but there was a rush too. If I needed to use them again I would, but it's doubtful because, since I bought the air conditioner from the known supplier, an old company that I've known for a long time, I'll probably use them to service the air conditioner.

Went very well. They were very professional. Called before scheduled appt. time. They took their time to complete the job, and did not hurry things up. Cleaned up after work.

Upon calling National Air, they sent a service man over IMMEDIATELY, as in that same hour that I called, and it was a Sunday evening at 6pm. They checked out the AC unit and identified the problem, but had to order a part to replace the compressor. So, unfortunately, we had to stay in a hotel room that night. The next day we did not get a phone call, so I called at the end of the day and they said a service man would be out the next day. So we stayed a 2nd night in the hotel. The service men came and worked on the roof while we were at work in the afternoon. When we got home at 5pm, they were waiting for us so they could go inside to check the AC. Unfortunately, there was a leak, so they had to get another part. So, we had to stay a 3rd night in the hotel. They came and finished the job the next day and AC works great! Overall, I'm happy with the professionalism and responsiveness. I will definitely use them again.

National Air, Marrero, LA. Serviceman cleaned air conditioner and explained how it works and how to do some of the simple maintenance myself. He was very helpful and took the time to show me everything he was doing. I had purchased a deal from Angie's list for a cleaning and inspection ($69). The unit was making a rumbling sound. The capacitor had a burnt connection which was causing the unit to surge, thus creating the rumbling noise. He replaced the capacitor on the spot ($175) and now it's running smoothly and more efficiently again. In all he was here maybe 45 minutes. I am very pleased with the service. I will definitely use them again.

My home AC was diagnosed as having an evaporator coil leak. When repairs were scheduled (for 5/3/2013), technicians were on time and efficient. They needed a replacement drip pan and in in-line dryer/filter also, and these were brought to the job site by the owner, Roy Calente. About a month later, I noticed that some of the sealant they had used had separated at a bottom corner of the unit, and when I called about it, they were very prompt in responding (next morning). This company is quite customer-service oriented, and everyone including the office staff is helpful and easy to get information from. I would definitely use them again.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for National Air. They said that my coil was dirty but it wasn't necessary to clean it right then. They did a fine job.
